Anybody driving on Dale Mabry between I-275 and Raymond James Stadium has probably driven by this club wondering "what the hell is that club with the flying saucer on top, and how did they get it there." The starting point was 1968 when "2001: A Space Odyssey" ( Director Stanley Kubrick) hit the theaters, and ended up winning an Academy Award.
