Wednesday & The Muddy curse continues!

I decided to check out the Red Rose on what I knew to generally be a slow "strip club" night in Florida's Panhandle. The club opens at 8:00 PM, but generally doesn't have dancer's working the stage until 10:00 PM. Entry to the club before midnight is typically $10. The club offers 2 for 1 drinks between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM, but I have never found the Red Rose alcohol offering to be that appealing. As a side note, the owner (Cashen Moore) operates multiple liquor stores and bars in the panhandle. Her father William (Cash) has recently passed, but the man was a self made businessman and left a business largesse for his only daughter.

At one time, the Red Rose was quite intriguing as a good strip club to visit in the FT Walton Beach area. Their pricepoint was fair in a region that generally gouges on pricing in lap dance and other modes of entertainment (VIP). The competition (Sammy's and Club 10) generally has priced their tepid "air" lapdances between $40 and $50 per dance. Sammy's always had the best lineup and the most space maintained between dancer and customer, but the Red Rose had the 2nd best lineup with up to 25 dancers (4 nights a week) and the claustraphobic lockers had you bumping with your entertainer. The Red Rose bare bones lap dance remains $25 and is performed inside a school-like locker space. The club has moved to a model that keeps the bare bones lap dance in play, but offers $35 lap dances on a couple of comfy couches.

So back to my visit! My 8oz rum & coke was only $6 and remains served in a clear plastic cup. My coke was served in a clear 10oz plastic cup by Tiffany (club bartender), who has worked the bar since 2012 (in my time as a Red Rose attendee).
