Bourbon Street wasn't it was always kinda low mileage dances. Maybe the Phoenix guys would say the girls looked way better back back then.

I’ll also cast a local vote for the Players Club (Wagon Wheel) here in Bmore. Hot but diverse (looks, not just skin color) roster and it was 50/50 that you might see a full on 69 lesbian show on the stage on a packed weekend night.

Bourbon Street had $10 good contact dances back in the day. I always argued (and many others here agreed) that to me, they had the best lineups in the United States.

It often gets lost in the shuffle because at that time other clubs in greater PHX were offering full service.

Two Vegas clubs that were really solid:

CH Too and Cheetahs. Maybe not by national standards but reasonably priced, including some HJ or BJ on rare occasions.

Some of these ones I caught at the right time and then some your like is this really supposed to this legendary strip club? (Sundowner was that for me)

And I could try to say Mitchell Bros but I think that was more 20 years ago rather than 10.

Bare Elegance and Mons Venus were the two that really hurt. Unique in their own ways, they provided an exceptional experience unmatched anywhere else. Now they're both shadows of their former themselves.

At least Mons is supposedly under new ownership. Hoping something positive happens. It couldn't get any worse.

The Cabaret Club in El Paso was not too different from a brothel with anything goes. One could not make it to a seat without several dancers offering you a full menu. That, and the drugs caused it to be shut down by the city.

Bourbon Street is still listed as a top club only because it’s consistent with talent. Many travelers like the eye candy it provides but true local mongers find better service elsewhere, especially when you can line up otc. The GPS is what bothers me about this place. I’ve literally had more fun at way shitier dives with average decent dancers at other clubs because the girls want to be with me instead of BSC girls acting like they’re doing you a favor going to vip for $20 dance and won’t let you feel them up or suck some titties. Other clubs the girls shove their tits in your face and suffocate you before grabbing your dick while asking if you want to play. That’s the difference, and a good monger keeps that a secret.

Been gone longer than a decade, but Platinum Plus in Memphis was as good as it gets, back when it was operating . Full on lesbian shows on stage and anything goes in the back room with plenty of 8's and 9's to choose from.

Even Hong Kong bar is not the same as it was with the fun stifling rules that they have in the club now and also in the hotel.

In defense of Desires my last 3 bbjcim experiences were $50 to the house and $200 to the hot dancer. I don't recall it being cheaper or better 10 years ago.

From Muddy’s original post, I’ve been to six of those clubs, although some not in many years. I’m also a regular at Bourbon St. in Phx, which was also mentioned. The sad truth is that the industry is declining overall. None of the clubs I’ve been to in the past are as fun today as they used to be, both in terms of talent and service levels. Bourbon Phx and Baby Dolls Dallas to be like walking into the Playboy Mansion with off-the-charts talent levels. There are still some lookers, but not what it used to be. I also enjoyed HiLiter back in the glory days of a dayshift where you could get a BBBJ from probably half the girls working on any given day. Curves in Tucson still has great mileage but prices have risen ($35/song in VIP) above the local market in my opinion, and some girls try to charge even more. I loved Mons Venus back in the day, especially getting nude LDs on that long couch with the mirrored wall in front of you. That was a visual feast in the mirror with you and a dozen other PLs groping your gorgeous dancer, but sadly my last visit a few years ago left a lot to be desired.

Flight Club in the Detroit suburbs has certainly gone downhill. Around 10 or 12 years ago I practically lived in the Flight Club. But the prices went up and dancer quality went down. It's no wonder that I'm planning my next trip to Thailand.

Well this definitely is a depressing retrospective.

Baby Dolls Dallas is still legit. Lots of smokeshow latinas and white girls. A lot of fun can be had without having to splurge on VIP. It also has the benefit of being busy/fun 7 days a week, day shift and night shift.

Strip clubs have apparently recognized that older men with money don't give a shit about cost and that younger men don't have money, so cost isn't an issue with them because zero dances at $20.00 is the same as zero dances at $40.00.

Bourbon still has high standards for hiring, for the most part. As far as mileage goes, it's dancer specific but in general, not as high as other places in the PHX area. Probably the main factor is that you are in an L-Shaped area in VIP and you can pretty much see all the dances if you were to look.

Because the dancers don't usually get skipped on stage rotation if they are in back, you do have an opportunity to scout which dancers are the better shot for mileage while you are waiting in back for your dancer to come back from her stage rotation.

I've been to nine spots in the OP, but i haven't been on nearly as long. I started in college but didn't have any money. Now that i have time and cash, I also have to say times have seemed better, for me, even pre-covid. Anyway, my opinion:

Hi-liter: still good, imo, best in PHX, one of the best in country

Bare Elegance - i lived in LA/OC for a minute and this place always sucked, maybe my timing was awful

Tootsies - terrible, the literally the Sam's Club of strip clubs, except lower quality and higher prices

Tattletales - I was a ghost there, but I do admit the reviews sound great

BBD - mid, good mileage, no extras for me, but I thought Dallas overall was decent

San Antonio Men Club: i thought the scene was great, no apparent extras, but high mileage, two contact, even took pasties off, is it still the same?

Treasures: very good last time I was there, too much upselling to VIP, I hear the couch situation down stairs doesn't exist anymore, which would suck

Other mentions: Bourbon: always hot girls, mileage was mid at best for me

Flight Club: definitely on a down trend, still one of the best in the country

Landing Strip: best of detroit last time I was there

10 years ago SRCOI, DVcoi, SYNNcoi, BELAX, TL were great. now not so much. HK was excellent... now it has dropped a rung or two. but still holds a place amongst what's available around the world. I put the blame on the internet offerings siphoning off many of the best lookers... Too many guys paying money just for a picture.

I agree with Puddy Tat in regards to desire. I finally visited that place and left leaving with a sour taste in my mouth. GPS is pretty bad there and the whole experience was pretty mid-tier. The way that club has been built on TUSCL would make you believe that the club is teeming with naked goddesses who are down for anything in the VIP at extremely reasonable prices. In reality the place just doesn't suck like the overwhelming majority of clubs these days.

Lots of insights from lifers in this post. I have been to several of but not all the clubs listed. Agree that HiLiter used to be king in Phoenix. On a recent Phoenix trip I didn’t even go based on the trends that I read on here.

My sample size of Desire is small - just one or two visits but I agree that it was good but not great.

My sense is that Flashdancers and maybe Scores in Manhattan were much better way back when but perhaps they were never that great.

Desires explanation: It is an average club for non-regulars as all the desirable women have long been spoken for. The best at Desires are taken by assholes such as myself, who have been going there for 20 years and are treated as family. Having said that the evening lineups lately are fucking awful, unless you like fat, fake women with whom you cannot converse. Still the best daytime shift anywhere insofar as looks, service, cost and provacy.

I know not many members here will get this, but I can't let this thread die without mentioning Bottoms Up in Irvington NJ. If I zoom out and look at the whole of my clubbing career, that place was like 90%.

A hole in the wall place in the middle of a shit ass area, but man, that was the "anything goes" spot. There was only one rule, you be respectful and don't do any stupid shit out on the floor. Guys who did got chased out with a baseball bat. I even saw one get beat down and then thrown out onto the sidewalk. Cops showed up, and everyone just shrugged their shoulders.

The perverted shit that went on in that famous "kitchen" was beyond belief. I won't even discuss it here. Lol
