Weeknight volume and variety at Rick's

I'm only in NYC for work a few times each year, and the strip club scene doesn't seem to be what I remember from 10+ years ago. But there are still some fun options out there. Rick's seems to be one of them.

I was in Manhattan for 2 nights in November. This review is primarily about a Wednesday night, plus a quick stop in the following Thursday night. Somehow, they never made me pay a cover. The security at the door asked me if I've been to Rick's. I told him only the Chicago location. He said great, I'll take care of the cover for you, come right in. He also gave me passes for future free entry, which was nice.

My biggest takeaway was being shocked at the sheer number of dancers working on a weeknight. This was in the 10pm-midnight range. There were easily 25-35 prowling the floor at any given time. There were so many girls that any talent on stage was really an afterthought. There was sure to be a girl in front of you ready to talk.
