JS69, thanks for the post. I too am fascinated by the psychology of strippers. One item that I'd add to your list is mental illness, especially bipolar disorder and depression. I'm amazed at the number of gorgeous strippers I meet who don't have SOs. I know, many lie about that. But I see many dancers sacrificing personal relationships to chase the seemingly fast money in stripping. They are independent types who prioritize making their own money, and having fun in the process. Many realize they are paying a physical, mental and spiritual price, Some don't.

Just about every woman, for very good reasons, is brainwashed about being a "good girl". What we see playing out on SW is a manifestation of that, even amongst sex workers. Regarding the financial commitment, it's equivalent to a weekly, moderately priced, 30 minute VIP; plus normal dating expenses for food and entertainment. Probably represents about half of my hobby budget. So I've dialed back clubbing to compensate. LOL, if I ever had two of these relationships going at the same time, I would not be seen in a club. :-)

Don't most forms of live entertainment rely on regular customers? Think sport season ticket holders, concert goers, theatre lovers, auto racing fans, etc. No surprise strip clubs rely on us and others who really dig strippers.

Agree with GMD.
Will also add that the work hours of a stripper really suck. Most clubs close at 2am or 4am. Throw in a commute and many dancer don't get home until 5-6am. If the average guy was at home waiting for his dancer girl to come home, he'd have to be very comfortable with her deciding to fuck anyone she pleased. Otherwise, he'd go nuts wondering every night whether she's fucking someone after work.
In general, strippers' lives are filled with massive drama. Fun playmates, but wouldn't want to be in a serious relationship with one.

I frequent nude NY and NJ clubs where alcohol isn't allowed. So I usually avoid the drink hustle. When visiting clubs where alcohol is served, I buy drinks as a matter of chivalry and to enjoy convo. I don't fret about paying for drinks. No big deal in the grand scheme of average visit spending. However, I typically turn down requests for drinks by strippers of no interest to me.

The ranking is accurate, particularly the comment indicating Desire is by far the best. That's my personal experience as well. Desire is simply one of the best clubs in the country. Awesome set up, gorgeous women and ultra-high mileage. Just can't beat that combo.
