What is the source of the data on stripper income that AI or a human would use? The clubs do not keep records. Many strippers do not file income tax and the ones that do underreport their income. I don't have any data either. From my experience, $36K seems very low. However, the girls themselves often don't know their income. They take in cash and spend it on drugs and other necessities.

English is all you need. The bar girls and workers in the tourist industry know enough English to do their jobs. But their English is limited. Thailand is very safe, much safer than US. Violent crime is almost unknown and Thais do not like confrontation. You need to watch out for scams in the bars and out. I don't think of lady drinks or bar fines as scams, but rather as costs of the gogo bars. The lady drinks have an inflated price for non-alcohol, but the girls receive a commission. It is part of their compensation. The bar fines compensate the bar when you take a girl out to your hotel for a couple hours or alll night. On the positive side, the gogo bars do not charge an entrance fee. You are expected to buy a beer or other drink when you sit down, but I have not found any clubs with entrance fees. You can check out a lot of bars for a small amount of money.
