Deja Vu in Rancho Cordova CA was the first place I saw that "rented" booths. Otherwise in my experience I've seen them only available with bottle service or a minimum ($100+) bar tab.

As much as I have favorites (even in one night), I move on after 15m of waiting. I already feel like some PL, jilted suitor just sitting there waiting. My time is always limited, even if a dancer is "that good."

I'm only familiar with the Bourbon Street clubs. It's also touristy with more to offer with the music bars and such besides the clubs. I enjoyed Hustler last time I was there. Pay the extra to get upstairs and then go out on the balcony and look down on the street. They also have drink and other specials depending on the night you go. Scores was also one of my favorites. Temptations has really sunk low so avoid that one. Haven't been to Ricks or Penthouse but understand they are a bit more expensive for not more action. I have nothing to report on Barely Legal. Lot's of traveling folks here, me included and I do a bit of research on this site to plan my visits when I'm out and about too. I never read just one review but a few and sort of average out the different comments. I rarely pay attention to the stars but do look at the handy blue bar graph. I put more weight on reviewers with many under their belt while less to the 1 and 1 or those with 100 reviews and 5 clubs. And when I finally go to a club I've selected based on the reviews, I keep in mind my favorite of our achronims, YMMV.

Just got back in. A little Orlando binge the last 4 nights.

I've seen the exact thing mentioned in the SW thread happen at clubs in Vegas, so it's not confined to the more "urban" clubs. Yeah, can't stand these chickies on their girl's night out or bachelorette parties. They should stick to night clubs, Chippendales and the Thunder from Downunder.

I once saw a guy make it rain in the entire club. It was like fall in New England. Dancers, waitresses and customers went scrambling over chairs, tables and each other to catch the fluttering money. I was sitting at the stage and a few bills floated my way. I gave them to the girl dancing and thumbed back to the idiot standing in the middle of room in the midst of the mayhem.

I turned 50 in Vegas last June but we all know what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, so I'm thinking I'm still 49.

I've had meters in Hustler in New Orleans and a Rhino in Sunnyvale - The NOLA one seemed fast to me, especially since we didn't start at the beginning of a song. The Rhino though did seem like a good amount of time. Kahoots in Ohio had a light system, and I think the guy at the entrance kept tabs - if you wanted to extend, the girl would have to go tell him. Someone said clinical - also to me, seemed a bit like "Beat the Clock."

2,3,6,9,10 but I'm gonna steal Lion's method from now on (hope you don't mind). Sometimes the chat might as well be a script. What a way to break the routine.

I've always had positive experiences with the FHs and have even tipped a few. Unfortunately I'm rarely a regular or regular enough to be remembered.

I agree with Vince. Never had much luck in Orlando. Was told I had to drive outside of it.

I'm with samsung. All my times in Vegas,I always thought the waste of money was in the casinos not the SCs.

I do enjoy buying drinks when I offer and as kong as they are the same price as mine. I usually don't if a waitress asks if I want to buy the lady a drink. if I did I would have offered.

I'm a big Vegas fan but it is really hit or miss. I prefer the quieter clubs and avoid the usual big clubs, Rhino being one. Best advice I heard on this whole string though was was wait for the right one to come along. I've been in both the dives of Vegas and the bigger clubs - and in all, if I found a fave to hang out with, I had a great time.

When traveling to a city I've never been to before, I read the reviews and ask for recommendations. I'm usually in town only 1 or 2 nights and want the best odds for the best experience. I appreciate the few TUSCLers who respond with their favs or avoids and respond in kind when I can.

So far its underwhelming. It will really need to start dumping soon to get to the accumulation they're predicting. Winter here in the NE is harsh because its a damp cold that can chill to the bones.
