Shortest/Longest Time In One Club
There was a club in New Orleans where I got my drink sat down and was immediately set upon by an eastern European girl looking for champagne and VIP and then started insulting me when I refused and I was the only customer in the place. Even the Waitress was dumbfounded. I got my drink poured into a 'go cup' and left - 10min. In NoCal, I walked into a place that was in a strip mall, everyone seemed to be having dinner, no one dancing - I walked the length to the back where the bar was, turned around and walked back out. I think it was less than a minute. On the other side, a couple of times in Las Vegas at 9 hours. The city is very pretty in the predawn light but I've gotten to old for that shit.

Would you buy a tuscl.com collared "Official Reviewer" shirt?
t-shirt, no. However, I like the idea of the gold stars. How about simple gold star lapel pins? Discreet. And, you would only be eligible to buy a pin (informed by founder and Emily) after you reach a certain milestone for number of reviews and/or number of clubs. So you can get a 1 star pin, a 2 star pin, a 3 star pin, etc for reaching different counts. For those of us who a t-shirt would mean trouble with an SO, we could make up many reasons why we might have one of these while keeping the truth to ourselves. Same if you decide to visit a club and wear it, you can tell the dancers why you have it, or not. And, it's a secret discreet way to meet other members if you see someone in a club wearing their's.

Question for dancers regarding boundaries
I keep my lips closed whenever a dancer brushes her nipple against them, you know why? 'Cause if she's doing it for me chances are all you PLs have already been sucking on those tits!

Owner says business smarts key to strip club's success
I've been going to this club on and off since 2009 and have reviewed it 5 times, even went a year before it changed when it was Penthouse. It was a favorite for awhile but a few years ago drink prices went up dramatically and I was also spending out of my league on dances and VIP so I stopped. I had returned on a trip out there last March when I ended up with a surprise extra day. It rekindled a bit of the old desire for the place so I may out it back in rotation. The thing this article does not say out right is the place does seem very well run.

They all have a rich guy story
I agree with shailynn and jackslash as to it mostly being a ploy to encourage more spending at which point I might suggest they go seek their fortunes elsewhere. I have had a very few mention it as part of conversation and how they were amazed it happened in the first place. They also didn't hold the guy throwing the money around in the highest esteem. The experienced girls know this happens infrequently, the newer girls think it should be a regular occurrence.

Do you have rules?
No dances from the "wanna dance girls," I don't buy drinks for the girls if the waitress asks me too - nor shots. I want to see a girl on stage first before getting a dance, but that's more like a guideline now especially if we've had good chat. I'm endeavoring to still have something in my wallet after a night out but that can be a struggle. If a dancer tells me to wait, she'll be right back... she's got 15m before I find someone else. And to make Founder happy, I never go to a club that I haven't first researched on TUSCL. I can't afford to waste my time.

Need new ideas for stage music and costumes/outfits
You've got allot of wardrobe suggestions. Mine, be engaged - actually dance to the music with some sense of rhythm (helpful if you pick something that's danceable). And then, make eye contact and show some sort of customer engagement, wink - blow a kiss. Staring at the ceiling or floor looking like the only thing on your mind is the end of your set will always have me turn my back. Make eye contact with me, give me a smile and a wink and I might just fall over the chairs in my rush to get to the stage. And since I probably then tipped well at the rail, you better find me when you're done but be gentle and act like I don't have a giant 'PL' tattooed across my forehead.

Strip Club Habits
I'd put myself in the $300 per visit group (not including drinks) however, since it's only when I travel, I could be clubbing for a few days in a row. My last Vegas trip approximately met that nightly spend but meant I spent around $1500 on just clubbing for the trip. It's a good thing I only travel about every 2-3 months.

The most successful double I've ever done was at my own suggestion with two girls I was hitting it off with. The caveat, one sat close to me on the couch while the other danced and did the grind on us both and then they'd switch. The other doubles I've done I only remember tits in my face all the time in a team rotation sort of way and the feeling like I was being suffocated. I've never gone for the "lesbian" show because after all, it's my VIP and I want the attention on me, not being some 3rd wheel voyeur - I've got the internet for that shit. If they want to make-out with their girlfriend, let them get their own VIP.

She told me...
With over dozens upon dozens of club visits and even more LPs over the years, I was sure I must have heard something. But as I thought and thought, I realized I don't remember a damn thing any of them ever said to me. Does that make me a bad person?

10 Million in Back Pay
I think there has to be a delicate balance. The club needs to set some rules for the establishment to keep the girls in line but also give them the autonomy of an independent. The fine line is exactly what those rules are and how a court may interpret them. I saw stock dropped something like .40 on Friday which is a big deal for an $11 share price. Rick's had quickly released a statement saying they weren't required to pay anything yet, it was still to go to trial and they would certainly appeal. If they have their way, these girls will be old hags by the time they see a cent from this.

I grew tired of hearing the phrase, "it's a fantasy" over and over and the dripping disdain whenever they mentioned..."men" as in she has left her family to drive 5 hours to go in this place of all... "men," like it's such a dirty word. Typically, another portrayal of us PLs as doofus walking hard-ons acting like deer in headlights when we see a naked woman. Well, chickie, I would have turned you down too if you came sauntering around asking if I was tipping the girls or if you asked for a $1 to show me your boobies. Really $25 for a floor dance at some hole in the wall joint at an ATV convention? Yeah, mjx, I had a few thoughts.

Question
I'd be interested in hearing an update too. Been in the area in the past and am heading to the area again for business this weekend and then Oakland in Nov. I've been to a few of the Sunnyvale Clubs and Cheetah's turned out the best, many of the others I've found lacking. What really gets me are these dance prices, starting at $35 for an air dance? Are you kidding me?

Two dancers in VIP
I've done it a few times and mostly swear it off as a waste of $$$. First couple of times, only remember lot's of tits in my face to the point I thought I'd suffocate, not pleasant. The last time and for allot more than I'd like to admit, I did an hour with two in Seattle. To avoid suffocation, each took a turn at dancing while the other sat close with me. A good time was had by all but it's not the typical experience.

WTF: Robin Williams
I've been taking this in all night. I can imagine the depths of darkness one must go into to, to not find another way out. I suppose this is most shocking because having very publicly talked and joked about his demons, he seemed to have had a way to deal with them but in the end it looks like they still won out.

I was there May 2012. I had a good time at Downtown Cabaret. Rick's had just taken over the management of the place. The way things change in the business, couldn't say it's the same.

Rip-Off Clubs
A club (especially in Vegas)is a predatory environment designed to separate one from their money and so your guard or at least awareness must be up. Now I have never experienced something this blatant but have been talked into things (after a few hours of drinking) I later regretted but chastised myself for being taken (admitting I'm a big boy and should have known better). These experiences though, have encouraged me to be wary and try to control he situations rather than let them control me (I succeed sometimes, F'n PL) and actually has added to my enjoyment. Here though, I would have been wary from the get go, told the dancers to stop and flat refused to pay (really, $300 for a table dance). I would have then just walked out at that point. Club_Goer gets it right that this is place is the perfect trap. The couple doesn't sound like regular PLs like the rest of us, but newbies wandering Vegas and perhaps on a whim, decided to try something a bit decadent for them. The sharks smelled blood in the water as soon as they walked in. I'm glad though that she found TUSCL to vent and write a review, not that we needed the warning.

Would you ever get a stripper a job where you work?
I've made recommendations and suggested businesses to contact related to my field but never offered them a job directly. I believe I interviewed a former stripper once. Good looking blond, nice shape and poised, in sales already. The tell, a former address in Las Vegas with no listings of jobs during that period. Questions about work during that time deflected with , "this and that, temporary, etc." In the end, I did offer her the job and she was all set to start but at the last minute, declined. Perhaps that was the 2nd tell, being a tease.

Morphing SC Business Model?
Now, there are a few fellows here who follow Rick's and their stock. I do in an amusing sort of way though I don't own it. At the risk of starting something unintentionally, the recent uptick seems partly fueled from what I saw as an endeavor to diversify into non-club restaurants while also increasing their club income by going after the high end customers and leaving "us" PLs and slower spenders aside. So diversification, which relates to the web presence others have mentioned but unfortunately, it's not cutting pricing or making a place more PL friendly but perhaps the addition of more VIP services for higher fees. Why attract 5 guys at $20 bucks ahead when you can become exclusive and attract 1 or 2 at $100 and make the same or more as the latter may be more likely to spend more, teh 1%ers.
