If you count going to restaurants that also have bars, or bars that serve food, I go to many more regular places than strip clubs. I've never had a problem with confusing the two.

It's aways good to get different perspectives. Some of the dancer reviews I've read are focused on what it's like to work there, but I usually have that conversation with a dancer in any new club I visit anyway.

Nice to hear that ss1's advice worked out for you, but perhaps you should work some of this into a review of the club?

It happens. At various times in my life I've been attracted to: blondes, brunettes and redheads; long hair and short hair; large breasts and and no-larger-than handfulls. Sometimes it's fun just to review a strip club visit in my mind the next day and think about who I was attracted to. I guess I'm an equal opportunity SC patron.

My reaction: this list was composed by someone who knows little about strip clubs.

I rarely tip for just one or two lap dances. For an exceptional dance, or multiples, or if I plan on getting more dances from her later, I'll add no less than a $5. (Somehow, tipping ones for a LD just doesn't seem right.) The last time I tipped, I got five very good $20 dances and gave the girl a $100 bill and a $20.

I'll add my thanks as well. We all owe founder a beverage of his choice, and then some.

I've caught glancing blows in the head/shoulders a few times at the tip rail by high-heels, but luckily not the business end, and nothing severe enough to break skin. A more common occurance is getting my beer kicked over. I've lost track of how many times this has happened.

I've had girlfriend dancers try to tag-team me. While a threesome might sound interesting, it's best left to fantasy as someone always seems to be the odd man out, and you, the person paying for that experience, could be the odd man. Pass.

SC: There's a big difference between a gathering of fellow strip club afficiandos and "going out with the guys". I have turned down a lot of "strip club night out with the guys" because, no matter how much I like and respect my friends, I can see them acting like complete a$$holes in a strip club. Given that option or going alone, it's solo everytime.

I've known a few. If a woman has kids in her teens, her body has time to adjust and recover. Most of the grandmothers I've met in their 30s were still in good enough shape to draw my attention.

I get "great eyes" and "soft hands" all the time. Perhaps I have no other redeeming qualities.

I keep waiting to see a blind person with a service dog at a SC.

Agree, great review.
I'll second uscue's idea. Maybe a thumbs up to vote and "xx TUSCL Members Liked This Review"? Only one vote per person per review.

Since the recession hit, I get probably twice as many unsolicited OTC offers as I did before. I'd say yes.

Respecting the art form
I don't think I've ever read a review on here that unjustly complained about a high cover. If you shell out more than the norm, walk in, and find only a couple unattractive dancers, you have a right to complain, and a duty to warn others.

I don't think you can make that wide-sweeping of a generalization. Some do, some don't. Depends a lot on what you mean by date. I've had "real" dates where her primary interest was my present and future earnings potential. Compare that to a stripper's interest in how much money she can make off of you.

Physical Club, Dancer Quality and Dollar Value seem to be the lowest common denominators for any strip club, and they are still so subjective that I sometimes wonder if the scores on here are meaningless. (I've read a lot of reviews where the scores given have no relationship to the text of the review.) I don't think adding a Mileage rating will contribute much to the discussion. Besides, although there are definitely mileage-friendly clubs, a lot of the mileage involved depends on the individual dancer, not the club itself.

Just a fat, creepy old pervert.
What Club_Goer said matches my memories: they were "rubbers" until the 80s when STDs started daily making the nightly news and papers, where they were referred to as condoms. The word became the common usage. Most strippers wouldn't be old enough to even remember them being called rubbers.

I like long hair, but I've known women who looked better if they kept it short. A lot of it has to do with facial shape.
