I've never called a club to see if a specifc dancer is there. I've gone hoping that so-and-so will be working, but if I'm going, I'm going. Whether any one dancer is working or not is usually not a decision point. I have had CFs text me to let me know they were working, but that usually screams of desperation: "Hey, no one else is here! Come spend some money on me!"

During summers in the southeastern US, when the temperatures are routinely around 100F in the afternoon and the humidity is high, walking into an overconditioned SC is like walking into a freezer. And during the afternoon, making the transition from hellish sun to dark SC can be disorienting. It takes a few minutes, but I get used to it.
It's like stepping into a different world. Not that that is a bad thing.

This is the first paragraph of founder's review guidelines: "Give a LOT of details in your review (layout, atmosphere, dance quality, etc.). Be wordy. Fill the review box. One or two sentence reviews aren't helpful to anyone."
I don't mind the info on the layout, especially if I'm visiting a club for the first time. If it's a club I've been to before, I can always skim over it.

From kumasdaisy's profile: "...I believe strongly in the rights of sex workers and other people in the adult industry."
Doesn't that include the rights of dancers to willingly engage in these activities? If so, I don't see how how you can view the people on the receiving end as "entitled".

Agree with sc. I avoid clubs when they have feature dancers. They bring out the worst of they idiots.

I've met girls who dance under their real names, and I think they are crazy, not only because of stalkers, but it just somehow seems proper to disconnect that public persona from "real" life. I've also noticed a recent trend of dancers using more realistic, but still fake, names. Maybe it cuts down on customers asking them for their real names?

From the glossary: "Any more-or-less intimate performance that a female dancer does for you alone for additional money with you in a sitting (or lying) position with your pants up. Almost always advertised as involving some form of contact. A LD may be totally public or completely private or anything in between."
Anything beyond that is open to interpretation.
My personal vote for the most pointless term on TUSCL goes to ATF. It's used to describe everything from a stripper someone has known and had a relationship with for years to someone a customer met once and took a liking to, and everything in between.

The guy who got a touch of butt probably had a great time. It depends on personal perspective and expectations. The discussion board is so full of talk of mileage, extras, OTC, ITC, HJ, BJ, FS, etc. it's easy to forget that not everyone has that level of expectation for visiting a SC. To each his own.

I can only see this being abused. The reviews would have to be heavily monitored to keep this honest. Besides, as someone else mentioned, things change over time. When I'm contemplating going to a new club, I want the most recent information at the top.

Different clubs have different rules. I went to a club I was unfamiliar with last year and sat at the tip rail. I tipped a $5 to one girl and asked her to come see me after she got off stage, thinking I would take her for a LD. Waited and waited for her at the tip rail, and finally spotted her sitting alone in the back of the club. When I got up to go to the bathroom, she immediate launched herself at me. She would have been fined if she had approached me at the rail.
On the other hand, I HATE being asked for an unsolicited dance when I'm at the rail, especially when they sit down and try to engage you in conversation when you are intent on getting a little action from a stage tip.

I heard that song nonstop on the radio for an entire summer when it was first popular. I still hate it to this day.

I'll buy a dancer a drink if I'm interested in her and, most importantly, the drink costs the same as if I bought it for myself. The drink is an opportunity for her to audition for me while I decide if I'm going to buy a lap dance. There are clubs that are built around the business model of high priced "Lady Drinks". I haven't been to one in years. The Block in Baltimore used to be this way, but my experience there is old. Back in the day on the Block, the mutual groping increased the more drinks you bought.

A dancer masturbated in front of me during one of my first ever high-mileage lapdances. If she was faking, she was an extremely good actress.

Zero. Didn't realize that until you asked. After a keeping up a torrid pace in March and April, I guess I've backed off a little.

Even with a dancer I really like, 5 or 6 is still my limit for consecutive dancers.

Disposable income, life experience and knowledge of how to treat a woman vs. broke, self-absorbed and generally young, dumb and full of cum. I've had guys half my age acting like idiots ask me why dancers are showing me so much attention and ignoring them. As the saying goes, if I knew then what I know now....

I think joker and and m00 have the right ideas: direct rebuttals would lead to open fights and shilling and, and user experience is not only highly subjective, but subject to change. I've had some horrible nights at some favored clubs, and I usually either don't write a review or temper my review with comments on my past, favorable visits. The reviews contain mostly opinions. If someone had a horrible time at one of my favorite club, who I am I to say he didn't? It happens. I read at least the last year's worth of reviews when I'm planning to visit somewhere new and sort of average out people's opinions.

As the OP, I'll give my thoughts when this originally happened: she was either dishing up the SS, or was interested in more than fun and $$, and the little voice inside my head said to toss her phone number as soon as I could in either case.
Thanks for the dancer perspective, stiletto.

Believe I've related this one before:
Stripper in a club I once frequented: "I haven't had sex since the last time we did it."
Me: "Uh, I've never had sex with you."

I think I've flagged one, for a duplicate review. (Same person submitted the same review twice.) The duplicate review was removed.
