I think owning a SC would be a nightmare, mainly for the reasons that jackslash mentions. Being a customer is challenging enough ;)

Nah I don't like that idea. I don't think the dancers would appreciate civvie women possibly getting some of their $$$. But OTOH it might serve as a way to contain and corral what would otherwise be bad female customer behaviour.

Going to a SC alone is the best way, IMHO. Look - I'm a girl and I go alone all the time. I get plenty of stares but do I care? Hell no! I'm there to see and interact with the dancers...I don't give a rat's ass what any of the other customers think. But for what its worth the majority of any interaction I have had with other customers has been pleasant. Rarely has there ever been any problems.
San Diego is well known to be low mileage. Here in LA & in San Fran its a whole different story.

As soon as a stripper starts setting her claws in me I bounce and go to a different club. Trouble is alot of them think that they are your CF but it is only in their heads. But they can clam-jam you from getting other dancers attention, especially if she is the club diva or the club bully.

I also club primarily in the afternoon and rarely are charged any cover, or if there is one it's usually only $5 tops and that usually includes a non-alcohol drink.
What I do get pissed about is forced valet parking during the daytime. That's a deal breaker for me. I can see a need during busy night shifts but at 2pm on a Tuesday????? Fuggedaboudit!!!!

I went to a club after work last year on Halloween and it was DEAD. Many dancer moms are gonna be out with their kiddies, so the role call will be light. And the few dancers will be in costume so they can use the costumes to s-l-o-w-l-y undress and drag out more dances on purpose. Pffft.

I feel your pain, GSB. I always freak out a little whenever I head to a Rhino because I know chances are that they will scan my DL and I always worry that they will send some sort of snail mail advertisements or some other shit.
