Whats your opinions on this stripper scenario
If I'm reading this right, you're asking why a dancer might give an average guy a far better (maybe even higher mileage) performance than a guy who looks like Brad Pitt or George Clooney? It could be any number of reasons, from he's a regular and a big spender to she knows and likes him to she lost a bet. Until she tells you why, your guess is as good as any of ours.

@Dolfan, I saw something similar at a club in Minneapolis one afternoon years ago: a guy just sleeping away in one of the chairs, even with a couple of somewhat naked women wandering the floor. One dancer told me he was a homeless guy the manager let in every now and again, just to give the guy a warm place to crash and some food. I don't think they ever charged him for anything either.

Do you sit back or are you proactive when getting dances ?
Getting handfuls and mouthfuls of breasts is always nice, and a bit of a turn on when the dancer slowly, teasingly initiates it. Something else that gets my motor running is when the dancer starts sucking on my fingers or licking and breathing heavy in my ear. Farmerart, I got slapped once. The dancer was on my lap, facing me, and my hands kept playing around her hips and sorta getting tangled up in her thong. She told me once not to do that, but the stupid hands did it again. And she slapped me for it. We still didn't stop the lap dances; wound up getting a small hickey from her, too.

Future of marriage as an institution?
Never have been married, never will be. Hell, I don't even date any more. Getting stuck on one end of the spectrum with crazy-ass drama from the women I knew to "sorry, I just see you as a friend" all the way on the other end (and almost never anything in between), I just don't see any point in even trying any more. Just gotta say, not dating has saved me a ton of money on Extra-Strength Tylenol.

I'm not old. I'm well seasoned -- and over easy. Could someone please explain this concept of "disposable income" to me?

I used to be a sit-back-and-enjoy-the-show sort of guy. North Dakota's a hands-off state, and, for the most part, so is Minnesota. But then I started visiting the clubs in Indianapolis where, in the vast majority of the clubs, touching is expected and even encouraged. After a visit to Indy, any visits to clubs in ND and MN just get a whole lot more frustrating.

    Dancer sexual orientation
I guess I'm not one of the "most of you." I'm not against lesbianism; seeing two (or more) women go at it just doesn't do anything for me. I'd also expect more dancers to have experimented sexually -- or more likely, to admit to it -- than civilian women, not just because of a sexually charged atmosphere but, in general, they have a far less inhibited mindset that civilians. And I'd take whatever a dancer told me in person (as opposed to answered on a survey of some sort) with a grain of salt. She might be trying to play up to what she believes to be your fantasies and then get you to buy some dances.

    Feel a little guilty
Gotta agree with Jack on that. It also sounds like you're getting a bit attached to stripper #1 who sounds like she's coming at you from a girlfriend angle. I hate to sound cold about it, but don't worry about her feelings so much. You're there to have a good time and she's there to make money; like you said, it's business. And she isn't the only dancer available; don't let her get you to think she is.

    Two dancers in VIP
It really depends a great deal on the dancers. A couple of times, it was an incredible waste of time and money. A couple of times, it was a great experience. But most of the time, I found that either one of the ladies by herself would have been great; together, not so much. Sometimes, they'd get into such a chat fest that I'd get forgotten; they'd get more into each other than me, again basically forgetting me; or their styles would clash so much that they'd compete more than entertain. If you can spend some time with them out on the floor, just buy them a couple drinks and chat with them a bit first -- and maybe get some one-on-one lap dances, too -- do it. You might be able to get a better sense of the potential then.

JS69 and Papi, yeah, I've seen it work that way at Brad's in Indianapolis, where the dancer will pay the bouncer overseeing that area after she and customer are done. It's also done at Club Northern in Fargo, ND, and it's been a several years but I think it's also done at Beach Girls in West Des Moines.

    Enjoying It Less
Jack, I agree with some of the others: It sounds like you really did develop some serious feelings for her. Sorry to hear that she moved on, but that's the transient nature of the stripper business, too. Something else will come along -- like a life with actual substance instead of the trappings of an illusion -- and either they or us will move on. It also sounds like you might be going through some burn-out. Take some time off; clear your head and save up some cash for a big night out in two or three months.

    Vegas Hidden Gems or Recommendations
I tried the Can-Can Room once back in the '90s. The one dancer I saw on stage was so bad, I had to leave before I broke up laughing. I hit Play It Again, Sam back in 2000; pretty much a neighborhood-bar atmosphere but with topless dancers. One little bonus for the place was that you could get free drinks (okay, all I had were Cokes) if you sat at the bar and played the slots there.

What is the most you’ve spent on one dancer on one visit ?
Twenty years ago, I hit the Cabaret Royale down in Dallas. Was there until close and spent probably over a thousand dollars on Stacy, a busty British beauty. She never did come back to my room. And just back in August, I dropped a grand each on two petite Asian girls who said they'd visit me at my hotel room -- for another thousand bucks each. Never did happen. I don't think I've ever been so glad my credit card gave me the cold shoulder.

My first question would be if you could afford to go that often and spend that much money. Not all of us make $350K a year.

    Dumped by ATF?
    dancer's health issue
My big question is: have you or any of her co-workers seen her having a seizure yet? Not saying she's trying to not just rope you in but completely bind and gag you, but some people you just have to wonder about. Nuts, one guy I know called in to work claiming a stroke; he had no problem going to work the next day. Any idea if she's had any sort of head trauma recently that might be causing the seizures? Maybe some medications? If there's a way you can be both supportive and keep her at some distance at the same time, you might want to try that. Good luck.

Ah. The sarcasm in your previous post just didn't come through all that well. Like I said, it got my geek going, and I'll continue to enjoy it. It doesn't do anything for you <shrug>. That's fine; free country, your prerogative, and all that. Thanks anyway for the snark.
