This is not a Floriduh story.
"God would sort everything out"? I wonder if he was referring to that old battle cry, "Kill 'em all and let God sort 'em out" (or something like that).

    When a dancer ignores you
Bkkruined, that sounds a lot like my experience at BJ's in the Twin Cities several weeks ago. Except for a couple of times during my two or three visits that trip, all of the dancers and the servers snubbed me. I pretty much had to chase the bartender down just to get a Coke, and the only time most of the dancers even acknowledged me was when I tipped them stage-side. Those attitudes definitely cut my visits short.

A stripper I met back in August said she was really into astrology and really good at it. It took her three guesses to get my sign and seven to get what month I was born in.

How often do you go to the same SC?
Due to the lack of clubs here (not to mention a lack of cash for some serious mongering), I only get to do it a couple times a year when I escape from town -- and then I really over-do it, which contributes greatly to the lack of cash.

What I don't understand is why you're trying to get in her head about this -- there's a better-than-decent chance you're going to find yourself all alone in miles and miles of nothing. Y'know, this could've been one of those nights where she just felt like stringing some pathetic loser along, and it sounds like you were waving the flag pretty high. (Sorry, no offense.)

It could be for birthday and bachelor guys who are confined to a wheelchair, for when those guys have to get up on stage for those special dances.

It's time to protest! (And, yep, the first one's from 2010, the second from 2014 -- and it's the same church, too.) http://www.outsidethebeltway.com/strippers-picket-church-vice-versa/ http://www.hlntv.com/video/2014/08/11/topless-protest-church-warsaw-ohio-wbns

Ebola and Strip Clubs. A Hypothetical Situation.
Let's hope that the CDC doesn't start using Follies for testing. Hmm. I wonder if there's a viable market for full-body, head-to-toe condoms for strippers and mongers.

    Actresses and their hottest roles
Don't forget Marisa Tomei's role in "The Wrestler." Charlize Theron in, well, anything...except "Aeon Flux." Craptacular movie. Angie Everhart in "Bordello of Blood." Angie Harmon back when she was on "Law & Order." Even 15, 20 years later, she's still a great-looking woman.

I'm thinking it's probably #2, although another option (which I realize is completely wrong but still...) sprang to mind: She just started culinary school and she wants to keep her palate as pure as possible.

Sounds like the judge should lay off the alcohol if he doesn't want to be dancing in the nude.

    O.T. Shocking Pop Culture Disclosure
Last I remember, Siegel and Schuster were high school students in Cleveland, Ohio when they created Superman. And the reason they did the underwear-on-the-outside thing was because they patterned the costume after that of circus acrobats.

Question about new SS from the ATF
On the more innocent side, any idea if she's having any dental problems? Oral infections, chipped or broken or loose teeth, and other dental problems might put her off from any oral until she gets it taken care of.

    OT: What are you reading?
The Titan's Curse, book three in the Percy Jackson & The New Olympians series. Probably be starting book four early next week. Want to read some more Vonnegut after that, along with Butcher, Aspirin, and Gaiman. Might have to find some decent mysteries to read soon, too.

Future of marriage as an institution?
Papi, I seem to remember Tony Randall fathering his first (and I think only) child when he was 75. Shark, didn't the institution of marriage start off as business and political ventures? The union of a man and a woman was actually the union of two kingdoms and the like?
