Like Slick & sclvr I'm blessed to be able to club all over LA and the surrounding area so that I'm never more than 20 - 30 minutes away from a good club. My home club is a 5 minute car ride away.
Although I never sought out an area that was SC friendly, I'm sure glad that it turned out that way.

Sadly most of the guys that I used to date looong ago were lousy kissers. They just didn't seem to understand how to do it properly. Don't know why. So far I haven't met a bad female kisser. I would never have thought that it ran along the gender lines, but maybe it does.

minnow - after seeing this thread I made a note to check out the daytime talent today @ Bare Elegance and sure enough I saw maybe 3 tiny ankle tats on the more than 15 dancers working there. I mentioned the general lack of ink to a dancer that I was sitting with and she said that they are still very strict about not hiring girls with large amounts of tats at BE. Sometimes when i feel a need for tats, piercings and general alt funnery, I head down to Jumbo's Clown Room. Boy, you can find anything & everything there....except lap dances :(

I also have a bad habit of fidgeting, especially if the club is really slow and there are huge gaps between dancers onstage and there's not much else to do. It gets worse if all of the dancers are hiding in the DR or otherwise not circulating around much. Drinking RedBull & coffee probably aren't helping me much, either.

Because I demand privacy when getting dances I prefer upscale clubs which means upscale prices. With that higher cost, tho, comes higher quality girls. And usually generosity towards them pays off very well. Others will disagree but I think that it's worth it. Many of my friends pride themselves on bargaining down dancers in dive bars and they wear their triumphs like a badge of honor, but that's not my thing. No right or wrong here, just personal preference.

This one is actually a tough call because I have had strippers tell me in confidence that they thought so-and-so guy was cute, so it's possible. I've been told that I'm a hot momma more times than I can remember. But women complimenting women is a whole different animal.
Like others have said - the bigger your wallet, the better looking you will appear to be.

I think that this is the club that alot of the dancers down at Fantasy Castle have been talking about for well over a year now. They'll be happy that there will be another topless joint nearby for them to try out. Many of the former Wild Goose girls will probably end up working there.

I agree w/sclvr about the separation of pole dance skills and lapdance potential. I can appreciate and tip a great acrobatic stage show but I won't necessarily want to take her to the back for dances. Instaed I'll get my LD's from the slow sensual stage dancers that slither around and wrap their legs around my head when I'm at the rail.

I'm probably at the 50 - 60% range. I suspect that is very high for a woman. I thought that my sex drive would slow down as I get older, but so far it is still the same and maybe even a tad higher than it was a few years ago. Thank goodness for loose women willing to indulge me.

I used to do DATY all the time (sometimes mutually) but stopped doing it after a few scares. I never used to worry about a girl doing it to me, but I'm starting to re-think that as well. You know how afterwards you get all paranoid and every little lip or tongue tingle sends pure fear down your spine? That was me, so I backed off considerably. Sometimes the dancer is pretty damn fast and before I even know what hit me her pussy is smashed into my face. I figure that if she gets there so quickly that I didn't have time to intercept her, then she deserves a good tongue-lashing ;)

Good pole work is so rare now that if I do happen to see it I will tip her like crazy just to show some appreciation.
I was lucky enough to see a phenomenal dancer at a Deja Vu in the valley recently. After her set she came over and we chatted abit, mostly about her pole work. Turns out that she is also an instructor and does competitions around the country. A rare one indeed.

Some of the clubs I visit offer blocks of time that shave a bit off of the overall price of what you would pay if you bought the dances individually. But as long as you can buy one or two dances as test drives, then hopefully the better priced blocks would pay off if you found a dancer to your liking.
