Excusing yourself to use the restroom is usually sufficient to lose her and you don't have to be a dick about it. And if she's still sitting at your table when you come out simply sit somewhere else. That will really drive the message home.

I agree w/Slick. The first time I heard that song I knew that we would all be hearing it constantly in clubs and I was right. Hated it then and I still cringe whenever I hear it now.

I tried an experiment a few years ago where I subjected myself to daily clubbing in an attempt to desensitize and overindulge to the point that I would burn out and no longer want to club, at least for a long while.
Epic failure.

I didn't realize how many engineers were here on TUSCL. I'm also an engineer (electrical). I'm beginning to believe that it was the lack of other girls at my job that helped contribute to me hanging out in stripclubs, at least in the beginning. I was seeking out a place that was full of female energy, which is the polar opposite of my workplace where I am one of very few women. We have hired more women lately, and many are young & very cute. I think that I will look into volunteering to mentor some of these young ladies to get them started on the right path(heh heh heh)

Prediction: Horrible stripclub visit waiting to happen. Hope I'm wrong.....but I'm probably not.

What I have found is that the hotter the stripper, the more likely she is to have strict "clean" rules since she feels that she can get by on looks alone. And that is true, to a certain extent. What I noticed at one upscale club was the the 8's, 9's & 10's were selling dances, but usually one or two from a customer. And if that customer was with a group of people it didn't take long for word to get around that she was LM, so no one else bothered getting any dances with her. Meanwhile the UHM 5, 6 & 7's were consistently busy making more money in the multiple dance VIP areas.

I dont know about 'men' but I'm strictly into brunettes. A blonde stripper usually won't get a first glance, much less a second one,from me. A fine ass brunette is the one that will ultimately empty my wallet.

There have been a bunch of new clubs opening in the greater LA area lately, and as you'd expect things are slow until the business gets it's sea legs. Although the clubs themselves are gorgeous since they are brand new, until they get enough girls to fill them they have a hard time keeping customers. The old catch-22 where no dancers equals no customers, and no customers equals fewer dancers and so on and so on.

Oh HELL no. Just like the customers posting here really aren't typical, neither are the dancers posting on SW. I would never let any of those biotches impact my fun at the clubs or how I view our favorite hobby. In all of my clubbing I have yet to run into any dancer that was even close to the hater attitude that permeates SW.
Best thing to do if you can't handle the bullshit there is to avoid the site completely. You know that you won't be missing much.

Everyone's definition of "extras" may be different. My definition certainly is. It's a gray area and really - who cares what anybody else thinks it is as long as you're happy with what you get?
And as far as folks going to clubs not looking for extras - to each their own. I wouldn't want them judging me so I'm certainly not gonna judge them.

The wise folks here have spoken. I've witnessed a few crash & burn scenarios myself and it ain't pretty to see, much lee experience first hand. And of course she will not let you forget it til the day you die.
Bottom line is unless it's her idea to go and she brings it up all on her own......fuggedabouddit. Especially under the strained circumstances that the OP noted.

I've also driven right to the parking lot only to sit there for a minute or two and then decide "fuck it" and turn around and leave. If you're not feeling it it's better to leave than to have a lousy visit where you could waste alot more than just gas money.

I club almost exclusively during the day and the most I've ever paid for cover was $10 and it included unlimited non-alcohol drinks. Most places don't even bother charging daytime admission since hardly any customers are there.
