I think one of the undisclosed lessons of clubbing is that it is rare to try out a new girl and have an ecstatic experience. Usually, becoming good at something takes practice. There is another person involved, she is learning about you at her own pace, and you both need some time to let go of inhibitions.
Women also can get bored with the "same 'old thing" and they begin to explore and try to be inventive. I am coming to accept that it is OK to let things build up over several VIP sessions... Just act on a hunch who you liked, give things time to build up.

Although I never married, I did lose over 50 pounds in my late 40s, began dying my hair, had my clothes properly tailored. I feel 20 years younger and enjoy very much fooling around with inappropriately young women. I am getting to fondle, grind and kiss college aged girls now and I did not get to way back when.

There are some stories here of PLs that took a minor gamble on a small loan, let her "work it off" later. If you are sure the stripper is relatively committed to her club and staying in town, it can be worth it. But you do need to be mentally prepared to get burned.

It adds to the overall cost of clubbing, but I am amenable to it with dancers I am familiar with. I have noticed however that when buying a drink, they don't get a simple one... It is their moment to try out a fancier drink.
But there can be exceptions. I know a few dancers who do not drink alcohol and will just get a can of energy drink instead.

I hope the alternative minimum tax stays out of the final bill. I always hated the way I would be forced to fill out side schedules just to answer the question whether the AMT applied to me or not.
I finally gave in for 2016 and started using Turbo Tax. I had OID on some bonds, short and long term gains, some units of a limited partnership, depreciation schedules on rental properties. Just could not manage it all by hand anymore.

I do not take my phone in the club, I sit with the stripper and watch her add me to her contacts and send me a text. I keep a few scraps of paper in my wallet, and a pen, in case I need to write a number down - or some other minor note to somebody, or a reminder to myself.

This is normally something handled more subtlely by ladies. They introduce you to a friend and you socialize together for a few minutes. Or your first one will describe the friend to you, allow you to make a more informed decision.
A direct hand-off like you described sounds awkward... Only once can I say that I have encountered it. A dancer that I generally like was trying to interest me in giving a new girl a chance, even asking if she could "go get her for me"

Really is not anything out of the ordinary for a new girl at the club to waitress or work the front door for a few weeks. It gets guys curious about her, raises interest in seeing her start dancing.

I have gotten caught a couple of times when a 2 for 1 is called... The VIP area fills up and I say "let the bouncer know we will do this when there is space" - and she claims 2 songs later those should be regular VIP. Better to have both of them in front of you when you ask for a delay.

It is a confidence builder to realize that there is a brotherhood of PLs. The reviews help orient me and guide my expectations before I try a new club. And thanks to Tuscl if I decide to make a trip outside my area to a true extras club, I can.

I met someone that was very stripper-like just prior to beginning clubbing. A young woman addicted to pain killers, was ADD, tattoos, smoked, came from an abusive family. But she was working in construction... Never hinted at ever considering stripping. So yeah, sometimes the ingredients are there but the switch does not flip.

Probably rule #2 is "Do not try to be a savior". These girls come with a sack if pre-mixed problems. I don't mind minor favors like buying some nachos in the club if she is hungry, or offering a ride. But I am merely a sympathetic ear for whatever immediate jam is that she is trying to handle.

It is common for rent to be accepted without penalty up to 5 days or so after the due date. It will be interesting to observe stripper turnout this weekend, being a few days into November.

When the laps are only in the $5 to $10 range, I sometimes buy one or two throwaway dances on a very new stripper. Sometimes she sticks around, remembers me later and we can hold conversations about her progress and what she has learned. Very new girls can be appreciative of minor expenditures and they need to learn somewhere.

Pecking order can work the other way, too. I have been somewhat developing a fave at one club, (although I can sense the conversations are not very fluid since we are very different in age, interests and political orientation.) plus some runners up.
The potential fave gives good dances and a modest discount to me as a regular. I saw her yesterday for one VIP and then a guy showed up willing to spend several hundred on her.
I learned from her co-stripper best friend that the guy saved up money for 4 months to do this. So, I shrugged it off. He can't do that all the time, and I will see this girl again on my usual payment plan, in a week or two.

Last night, a woman that had asked me on prior occasions for dances (I declined politely) and had confused me with other customers, tried again...This time using a "prove me wrong" approach. Saying "you don't like to get dances from me, do you?"
I explained that I was waiting for someone else who was taking a smoke. So she persisted "so you don't like anybody here other than her?" I really had to resist the temptation to tell her to buzz off and let me decide how to spend my money.
