I'm a dancer primarily in Jacksonville, but once in a while, I explore other parts of Florida to work.

I also write some potentially smutty reviews of my club hopping adventures.

So I'm either at a club dancing, or I'm at a club getting danced on.

I've made a hobby of writing about the latter here.

So light up the fireplace, brew some hot tea, and grab your pipe, because you're in for some stories.

Codeswitching and the Hobby
If I acted with the same attitude and mannerisms I have at the club around my mom or grandparents, I'd be disowned. Lol. @Longball, the same exact thing happened to me when I was traveling semi-regularly up to Toronto and Montreal. It was either talking like a Canuck or having a barely noticeable Quebec French dialect. After two years of flying up, it just happened without me thinking about it.

Sgt: About as much proof as there is that so many porn actors are fucking their real stepmom/dad/brother/sister. But some people like to dream, y'know.

How important to you is stage dancing at strip clubs.?
"Making it rain is a weak man's way of showing he's scared of dancers..." I wish that were true because 99.9% of the time, these guys have no interest in private dances. (Usually it's someone that gives me a single $50 bill on stage that wants a dance, not someone that gives me 50 $1 bills to grudgingly pick up off the stage after my set) But, 99% of the time they'll try to talk me into going home with them and/or their friends, and 50% may get bothered if I try to talk to any other customer for more than 10 minutes. So no, I wouldn't call it scared because they approach and touch me first. Their logic is just wack.
