    Sunnyvale California

    http://www.crimevoice.com/2016/04/11/sdp…

    https://www.google.com/maps/place/806+W+…

    Vagabond Inn and Motel 6.

And then the Denny's and the Hobbe's

On August 15th of last year, 9-1-1 dispatchers received a tip that prostitutes were working out of a Motel 6 located at 806 West Ahwanee Avenue in Sunnyvale. Responding officers approached a vehicle with tinted windows, which had been described by the motel manager as having two women inside — one suspected of being a minor.

Turned out to be 19yo girl wanted for murder in East Fresno. She was able to give Sunnyvale Police the slip, but then later she was apprehended in Las Vegas and extradited back to Fresno.

Sunnyvale is kind of a tough town. I don't like it and would never want to live there or otherwise be paying rent or mortgage. but this is because of their cops and because of the sorts of people who run it. At this point I minimize my ventures into it. It has really excessive cops, and they combine police and fire together. There are lots of violent crimes and lots of police violence. Pretty much it is a class war.

My impression of Sunnyvale has long been that it resembles one of those company owned coal mining towns, where even the streets and sidewalks are treated like private property. I've had troubles with their police, especially visiting the Hip Hugger strip club and the Adult Book store two doors down.

Here on TUSCL I can talk about such things. On most of the Internet those kinds of things would be most unwelcome and the reaction against me would be extreme if I even mentioned them.

Anyway, Sunnyvale fought for years to get rid of those places, and finally succeeded, as local government usually does, they got the building torn down.

I am familiar with these two motels. That there might sometimes be prostitutes working out of them does not surprise me in the least. Also if you just keep driving North on N. Matilda over highway 101, then you are at the Sunnyvale Brass Rail. Their girls need to have some place available when nice looking guys like Rick Duggan show up. :)

I have eaten frequently in the Denny's and the Hobee's. In particular at the former I've often gotten along very well with their waitresses, them wanting to come home with me, and one wanting to move in with me and staying at my table and explaining this in dereliction of her duties for the entire duration of my visit.

I'm not complaining, I was just a married man who was not free to do such things. I would not have wanted to move in with any of them, or to have even fucked that one. But with others who I'd been flirting with who wanted that, I certainly would have been happy to proceed.

Basically, this is just how life is for those who don't live the charmed lives of wealth and propriety, those at the bottom.

AAMP operators prefer upscale gated apartment complexes, sometimes getting to $3k per month. But sometimes they have extra girls, and so they do use such motels and send their phone clients over.

Sometimes an operator may be bringing girls in on visas of 6 or 3 months, but then other girls, sometimes running off from another boss, will call the ad number and try to join up. Sometimes girls living in the US, usually Asian, will contact him and try to join on. Of course these domestics are harder living girls, and there are always SO's in the background.

You deal with the girls you will end up dealing with their SO's. I got to listen to one idiot issuing threats and profanity in pigeon Chinese, and threating to turn in the boss in to LE if he didn't start paying protection money, and saying, "No one's going to be making money off of my wife except me."

I told this befuddled Chinese boss just to hang up the phone if that guy ever gets on the line again. I did warn him that if he partners up with any domestic girls who contact him, then that kind of stuff will be the norm. He told me that on account of that he wouldn't make any more such partnerships with these domestics.

And though I don't endorse this enterprise, I am sure that avoiding this is why the main Korean Syndicate uses a 10 day rotation system, always transferring the girls from one house to another after a stint of only 10 days.

Our local grade of street prostitutes is quite low, because of LE pressure. And of course being the dominant racial group, the whites who end up as street hookers are the very worst. I've talked with some of them. Only twice in 30 years have I ever sessioned with them. I picked up one decades ago at a bus stop and we sessioned in the car. She only wanted $20 or $40. She told me that her grandmother had taught her how to do this in cars. I just handed her $100, because that was the friend price at AMPs.

These are hard living people. Once I saw one walking along a busy expressway. I picked her up in the car. She explained that she was running away from her husband. With just how ragged she looked, and cause she had been talking with another guy who stopped his car, it was clear to me that she was a hooker. I dropped her off at the nearest main street, with a Denny's, stores, payphones and a major bus line. Mostly I just wanted to talk with her and listen a bit to her story. As she was getting out of the car she offered me a date and her phone number, but I declined.

These women are just too weird, too case hardened. If you get involved with them you become part of the world they live in.

When San Jose has had openly visible street hookers, the white girls are always just like this. They look like they get their faces smashed in by their SO's a few times per week.

Now San Jose is again starting to have street hookers, black. They are from the east bay and they come down via public transit and they are much nicer looking and seemingly much more heads up and self protecting. And SJ PD is merciless, as are some of the neighborhood online group people.

Mr. LDK82 writes his street hooker stories and I suspect that he is dealing with similar sorts of women.

San Jose has real case hardened street hookers sometimes. But San Jose is the 10th largest city in the nation, 1 million people.

Sunnyvale is just a 70k population shit hole, abusive cops, usually out of town realtors as mayor and city council. In effect a marshal law zone after dark, with goons to patrol it that are like police and private security guards combined into one.

I've discussed with home owners how their police conduct themselves and they are surprised. I've aided people who were protesting police.

Now in this case I'm not faulting the officer, as the case is presented.

Rather I'm noting the case hardened sorts he was dealing with.

As I know, I don't think police will come out for a vague complaint of prostitutes operating out of a motel. Patrol officers are just not prepared to get evidence to bust such a thing. So it just gets refereed to Vice, and usually the people are long gone before they can do anything. Vice always has huge backlogs. But if the people are causing some other kind of a problem, or their is the allegation that there are minors involved, that will be different. Probably something about what these people were doing was why the complaint was made. It could very well have been one of the pimps getting belligerent and abusive with one of the women. I have seen that at San Jose bus stops, and been really taken back by it. I've also seen things like that amongst Asians, pimp 'n' ho sorts.

But police are always out talking to motel staff, usually looking for regional suspects, as these sorts in Sunnyvale turned out to be.

Sounds like they were all black and the girl, 19yo, was wanted for murder in Fresno. Never even heard of such a thing before.

Well, Sunnyvale has a tough side to it, and Fresno, in the Central Valley is a very tough town, and it has grossly excessive police.

    Fresno Featured in:
    http://www.amazon.com/Lockdown-America-P…

Other than San Jose, Sunnyvale has our only other strip clubs for the entire county. But Sunnyvale really hates them and they are strictly regulated.

As far as hookers in motels, very hard to do anything about that without trashing all constitutional protections. But still, cops are making busts all the time. It exists in San Jose, and seemingly most everywhere, but police are always making busts and I don't think most of the busts are proper.

Anyway, you guys write about all sorts of stuff, like it being unsafe to park cars around strip clubs, or about parking lot hookers, or about dancers who pretty much are street hookers.

My own experiences are mostly with softer environments, more upscale, higher costs, lower crime rates. I do have Mexican Bar table dancer / escort / parking lot servicers experience. But this is more gentile than it is going to be with White and Black girls, as I see it. The women really do live nice and peaceful lives and the Mexican clientele treats women with reverence.

Right now in some San Jose Mexican bars they do sometimes have Black hookers, but they are nicer looking and seemingly more heads up than most of the White hookers I've ever seen out and about.

So some of these more case hardened environments and people would be too much for me, not people I would want to be involved with, not even for just basic service. Not really interested in going that way anyhow.

I believe much of what goes on in California's Central Valley is more this way, like the things people write about happening in other parts of the country, with higher crime rates and more case hardened people living on the margins, and girls most likely to have the worst sorts for SO's and being the most screwball themselves.

I reflect back some decades, to the AMP girl I will call slutty Vietnamese Cathy of San Mateo.

I had some wonderful times with her. She would always dress for me and she was as GFE as it gets.

But of course what she wanted was for me to see her outside. And she was not someone who normally did that. And she had one kid.

She was a really cute girl, and one as much fun as you could ever find.

But in their more conservative culture, she was already off the marriage block. Her options were limited.

The Vietnamese who came her right after '75 tended to be well-off well-educated professionals who did very well. And today the Vietnamese who come here via orderly emigration tend to be students and tend to do quite well, like other immigrant groups.

But in the middle period, back in the 80's, those who came here were refugees who escaped because they had no other options. The lives they faced here were hard.

So I liked Cathy. But I did not want to see her outside, because I knew that that would amount to making her my mistress. It was going way beyond just prostitution. That I would be handing her money made no difference, as we would have a most involved relationship. OTC was out of the question. And then beyond a point ITC was too.

Her ability to do that kind of a job had a time limit, and she knew this. So what she really wanted was for someone to marry her.

So really, I had nothing to offer her that would really meet her needs.

Cut off from family and her culture, and stigmatized further because of her current occupation, her prospects were bleak.

To offer anything in situations like this, or I think in the lives of most people on the margins, what it takes is a new form of communalism.

This totally sucks, $2.3k average rental, so often couples cannot afford to split up.

Think what this does to civilian relationships. So you want to know a girl. Where does she live? With her parents?

Everything is distorted by the high rents. What the girl thinks of you will be distorted. And if your career is not just about making as much money as possible, but is about the contents of your work itself, she might not understand that. Women often don't, and this is made worse when living costs are really inflated.

And then there are guys looking to rent to female roommates who advertise on Craig's List. They require a picture before they will even talk, and the first meeting as to be a cocktail lounge for drinks around 9pm.

This whole situation is just totally screwed.

And also, piss on Dougster and his boom of 2015 lifting all boats and reversing the "whorification" of our strip clubs.

An Inside Look at San Jose’s Human Trafficking Crackdown
    http://www.sanjoseinside.com/2016/06/02/…

This is wrong. What the cop did texting with the girl was probably entrapment.

Also, they are using this concept of trafficking to justify busting huge numbers of people, when the chances of finding any juveniles or persons being coerced are quite small. And like Amnesty International said, the best way to protect sex workers from abuse is decriminalization, not law enforcement.

I would not want to deal with this girl, her meth pipe and her boyfriend. But this shows the wisdom of Rick Dugan's System. You meet your girl face to face first. Get to know her some.

These folks came out from Fresno. In much of California the economics have always been pretty tough. Not much opportunity for many people.

With Red Book AAMPs it would not be this way. You would never be able to get to communicate with the girl until you have booked a session and are there at the front door. And you would never get her personal phone number until you have sessioned.

And with Red Book Escorts, they would never talk like that to you via text or phone, they would just refer you back to the ad and then deny knowledge of what it says.

This girl was really stupid to talk with them. And she made her case indefensible. So the inadmissible evidence doesn't matter. Cops get people to do that, making you believe that they can be your friends and that it is better to confide in them. And this is probably how they nabbed the boyfriends.

And then like for myself in an AMP. I never talk to the girls like that. I keep the communications strictly civilian and just let it happen. I never try to get the girl to discuss anything or agree to anything. I just talk to her like she was a girl I'd just met at a party.

    Drugging Kids

Louis Theroux - America's Medicated Kids
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjR1PH41…

Do you think it right to stigmatize a child because he or she doesn't look people in the eye or exchange greetings? Do you think it right to use that to justify their drugging?

Do you think a therapist who focuses on these things as problems to be solved via treatment is engaging in child abuse? Psychological child abuse? Medical child abuse?

Do you think this should result in a felony conviction and state prison time?

Do you think the children featured in the above video are being used as family scapegoats?

Do you think CPS and the Court should be involved?

Do you think the parents should be convicted of felonies and imprisoned? Do you think that sort of penalty is sufficient?

Do you think a therapist who tells children that they have to accept that their parents are loving and hence blameless, is engaging in child abuse? Felonious child abuse?

How about a therapist who markets himself and his services by presenting this interpretation, along with lots of counter culture credentials. Do you think he is simply hiring himself out as an assistant abuser for the parents?

    Felony conviction and incarceration?

Do you think the children shown in the above video are displaying traits which suggest that they have been, or are under, extreme stress, such as commonly found in wars and in concentration camps?

Do you think CPS should be notified so that they can do a well being check, independent of any therapists hired by the parents?

Do you think these situations are indicative of some sort of negative parent v child relationship?

Who do you think should be examining this, therapists hired by the well off parents, or therapists appointed by the court and backed up by court authority?

Do you think any of this should trigger the mandatory reporting laws, as now written, "suspected cases of child abuse or neglect"?

If a therapist does not make the report, do you think they should be convicted of a felony and imprisoned.

Do you think some private practice therapists decline to make the report because that would likely mean losing a paying client? Do you think it is an implicit understanding between the therapist and the parents that no such report will ever be filed, so long as they keep coming to sessions and keep paying?

What do you think should be done with therapists who operate this way?

Do you think that these parents are taking out their frustrations in life on their children?

Do you think that the original reason they even had children was to give themselves a legitimated adult identity?

Do you think the parents are not taking responsibilities for their own lives and not admitting that they have choices, and do you think their children are the victims of this?

Do you think that Munchausen's By Proxy is a good way of describing these situations, given that we understand now that we are not actually saying that the parent has a mental illness, but rather we are describing a common pattern of exaggerating and inducing behaviors in a child which will result doctors and therapists stepping in? Do you think this should result in a felony conviction and incarceration?

What sort of a life can such a child have, when everyone is saying that they are the problem and that no one else is wrong other than themselves?

Now I ask this of those who have specific experience in these realms, do the cases get reported to CPS? Does CPS act? What happens to the parents? What happens to the doctors and therapists who are accomplices? And to those who do not report?

And so for everyone, are you willing to get involved and try to make sure that these cases result in felony convictions and civil judgments?

Are you willing to make sure that there is intervention into families and that children have escape routes and alternate places to go and other people to connect with?

Are you able to watch a video like the above without being enraged? If it was happening right in front of you, would you intercede? Would you act upon people involuntarily?

I'm sorry, but I wish TUSCL would make it easier to search for categories that pertain to strip clubs and non-strip club items, like they do over on that website I wandered over to called StripperWeb.

I got all the way to the bottom of this thread and finally realized not all topics are strip club related. Even "OT" I had to figure out is off topic. I wish the founder could rearrange the site to make it simpler when sorting out with a search or headlines. Does anyone else agree?

There are some threads which are understood by the context as being off topic. You'll get used to it.

StripperWeb is more like most boards, in that it does have different front page categories. Tuscl does not have that.

    Extremely Good:
Louis Theroux - America's Medicated Kids
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjR1PH41…

So I'm going to try and put a psychotherapist into prison. He lives no where near me, so it will all be via online. Too bad because I would like to use the power of Citizen's Arrest on him.

They have these gummy bear chew able amphetamines which they are now giving to very small children, usually for ADHD. Its very similar to the methamphetamine which plagues our streets and rots out teeth.

So this therapist, he has awesome anti-medication and counter culture credentials which go back decades and decades. He does therapy sessions where he tries to convince the child that his parents love him. And he tries to get the drugging stopped.

He knows better than anybody how bogus the original diagnosis was, and how harmful and senseless the medication is. And what he should know is that the whole thing is just a manifestation of a negative parent - child relationship.

But he doesn't seem to think the mandatory reporting law applies to him.

This is the whole reason we have the mandatory reporting laws is to stop more doctors and therapists from becoming complicit in child abuse. Every time a case of family child abuse is surfaced, there is always a long list of doctors who have covered up, assisted, or just refused to see.

This guy advertises his position that these are loving parents. This is of course how he gets clients.

He says I am being "judgmental" about the parents. And he doesn't understand that he is trying to break the child the same way the parents and the original doctors tried.

I'm giving him one last short interval to respond before my complaint goes to the DA.

I don't care about licenses. We shouldn't even be licensing psychotherapists, just like we don't license psychics and fortune tellers.

Will they enforce the mandatory reporting law as it is written? Can I get him convicted of a felony?

Where I am someone with the County Hospital says, "You report *everything*."

Of course the original prescription writing doctor and the parents also belong in prison, and that would be just a minimum penalty.

So can it be enforced this way? I will find out. And no matter what, I will be getting civil attorneys and other activists involved. The children should be entitled to compensation, and it is important to bring political attention to this.

People talk about what goes on in Foster Care, and it is real serious.

    http://webspecial.mercurynews.com/drugge…

I say that the doctors who did this should be executed. They should be convicted in International Court, for Crimes Against Humanity, because there is no statute of limitations.

So no matter what, I'm going to be trying to push this as far as possible. It is not just Foster Care. As I am seeing it, this sort of child abuse is the foundation of the middle-class family.

    America's Medicated Kids

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjR1PH41…

So every time the FDA approves a new drug, that means people can take their kids to a doctor and get them put on the drug, and then brag about it.

If they were buying stuff to suppress their kids from a liquor store or a back alley, then they couldn't brag about it. So that FDA approval is important.

And then I have learned that there are also therapists who try to get the kid taken off of drugs. They try to get the child to agree with the premise that it's parents love them, and should be found blameless. These therapists do this, disregarding the clear evidence of conflict and negative emotional environment, and failing to comply with the mandatory reporting law for suspected cases of child abuse. Nope, the therapist works for the parents, and the therapist tries to do to the child the same thing that the drugs were used for.

    It really is sickening.

^^^^^^^^^^ And these kinds of problems should be handled in court, and by court challenges to the medical model. All of this stuff should be getting handled in court, and NEVER BY MORE THERAPY!

    curious looking 2014 book:

Marriage markets : how inequality is remaking the American family / June Carbone and Naomi Cahn

Class, marriage markets, and the new foundations for family life -- Blinded by the light -- Blaming the victim : the morality tale -- Getting closer : the rediscovery of marriage markets -- The heart of the matter -- Where the men are -- Remaking class barriers : children and achievement -- The re-creation of class -- The law : rewriting the marital script -- Shared parenting : egalitarian, patriarchal, or both? -- Rebuilding from the top down : the family, inequality, and employment -- Rebuilding from the bottom up : addressing children's needs -- Sex, power, patriarchy, and parental obligation -- The death of family law--and prospects for its rebirth

"There was a time when the phrase "American family" conjured up a single, specific image: a breadwinner dad, a homemaker mom, and their 2.5 kids living comfortable lives in a middle-class suburb. Today, that image has been shattered, due in part to skyrocketing divorce rates, single parenthood, and increased out-of-wedlock births. But whether it is conservatives bewailing the wages of moral decline and women's liberation, or progressives celebrating the result of women's greater freedom and changing sexual mores, most Americans fail to identify the root factor driving the changes: economic inequality that is remaking the American family along class lines. In Marriage Markets, June Carbone and Naomi Cahn, co-authors of the acclaimed Red Families v. Blue Families, examine how macroeconomic forces are transforming our most intimate and important spheres, and how working class and lower income families have paid the highest price. Just like health, education, and seemingly every other advantage in life, a stable two-parent home has become a luxury that only the well-off can afford. The best educated and most prosperous have the most stable families, while working class families have seen the greatest increase in relationship instability. Why is this so? This book offers a new answer: it is due to the economics of marriage markets, and of how men and women match up when they search for a life partner. For instance, when eligible (i.e., desirable and marriageable) men outnumber eligible women, the marriage and marital stability rates are significantly higher than when the reverse situation occurs - the exact situation we have in America today. The failure to see marriage as a market affected by supply and demand has obscured any meaningful analysis of the way that societal changes influence culture. Only policies that redress the balance between men and women through greater access to education, stable employment, and opportunities for social mobility can a culture that encourages commitment and investment in family life. A rigorous and enlightening account of why American families have changed so much in recent decades, Marriage Markets cuts through the ideological and moralistic rhetoric that drives our current debate and offers real insight into--and solutions for--a problem that will haunt America for generations to come"-- Provided by publisher

As I remember, Ellroy said that Aerojet was saturated with Swingers. And now I see that it likely came from the orgies that the founder, Jack Parsons, held in his mansions.

But, the government was intent on stopping swinging, and they were using their security clearance police and lifting people's clearances. Well for someone in that field, losing your security clearance puts you out on the street.

So Ellroy's mother, like most swingers led a double life. So when she turned up dead, no one knew about her other life. And so, this is what made it possible for someone to have killed her and gotten away with it, as no one from her open life knew what people she knew.

    William J. Watkins of Boston
    August 26, 1853

An excerpt of an earlier speech given before Massachusetts Legislature Committee on the Militia, demanding the right of Black men to serve in the militia.

    http://research.udmercy.edu/find/special…

I am not seeing the original speech. It is printed here:

    https://www.amazon.com/Protest-Pamphlets…

In that original he makes direct reference to Uncle Tom, and says that if they cannot serve in the Massachusetts Militia, and instead follow the example of Uncle Tom, then even in heaven they will be relegated to the Negro Pew.

Uncle Tom's Cabin had been serialized in 1851, and then published between two covers in 1852. So this 1853 mention is the first known negative use of Uncle Tom.

    FOUND IT!

    Here is the original, 2/24/1853,
Our Rights as Men. An Address Delivered in
Boston, Before the Legislative Committee on the Militia

    https://research.udmercy.edu/find/specia…

    page 6
    "
Your laws are founded in caste, conceived in caste, born in caste.
Caste is the God whom this great Nation delights to honor. Caste
is in your singing, your preaching, your praying; your beau-ideal of
Heaven is a place of unfading joy, and resplendent magnificence,
where you shall play for ever upon your golden harps, and the colored
people, if they, like Uncle Tom, submit to your indignities with
Christian meekness and becoming resignation, shall be permitted,
from the Negro pew, to peep into the glory of your third heaven
    to all eternity!
    "

    page 18ff
    "
Gentlemen, do we deserve to be placed in this category? If we
do, we should be taken care of; for lunatics and idiots are not able to
take care of themselves, and criminals should be looked after especially.
If we do not, we have a right to demand that you withdraw
us from the company with whom we find ourselves involuntarily associated.
You will perceive that we are not literally among the
absolute exempts, although prejudice may so construe it. For
although able bodied white male citizens shall be enrolled among the
general militia, there is nothing here which says able-bodied colored
citizens shall NOT. It seems to be left optional with us. Our fathers
were not able-bodied white male citizens; but they were able enough
to face British cannon, in 1776 and 1812.
So, gentlemen, you perceive that we base our petition upon the
    grand, fundamental, eternal, Heaven-approving principle of RIGHT;
OUR ABSOLUTE RIGHT TO ENJOY FULL CIVIL PRIVILEGES. If it can be
proved we are not able-bodied MEN; if it can be proved we are incapable
of performing every honorable duty, you should consider our petition
as a gross insult to your body, but it not, there is no alternative but to
treat us as citizens of this Commonwealth should be treated; as ablebodied,
    honorable men.
In the fourth and last place, Mr. Chairman, I WILL BRIEFLY NOTICE
SOME OF THE BENEFICIAL RESULTS WHICH WILL ACCRUE
FROM THE GRANTING OF THIS PETITION.
And allow me to remark that these results will be reciprocally
beneficial. I am conscious, gentlemen, there are some men in the
country, foreigners especially, who would not sleep very soundly, unless
your report were adverse to our Petition. There are some so
peculiarly sensitive, that were they to behold an able-bodied colored
company parading down State street, where fell the noble Crispus
Attucks, they would be almost ready to proclaim the hour of God’s
judgment come; or, what is about the same thing in their estimation, we would be upon the eve of a dissolution of the Union. They
would not shut their eyes, but to dream of miserable hobgoblins; and
black regiments of soldiers would so harrow up their little, narrow,
contracted souls, that with mournful and elongated visage they would
feel called on to walk up and down our streets, and proclaim, “Woe,
woe, woe” unto Massachusetts, and to the inhabitants thereof; “for
the great day of His wrath is come, and who shall be able to
    stand?”
Why, gentlemen, if you grant us a charter, the soap bubble gasconade,
and characteristic rhodomontade of Southern bullyism, would
be launched forth against you with fearful power. Think you South
Carolina would then stay in the Union, IF SHE COULD BY ANY
    MEANS EXIST OUT OF IT?
But, Mr. Chairman, to be serious; if any one dreams of any evil
consequences inevitably flowing from the granting of this Petition,
we should charitably attribute all to the hallucination of a moonstruck
imagination. In the first place, grant our petition, and you
    evince to the world, that Massachusetts careth for her colored citizens;
that she does not repudiate them as vagrants or criminals, but
is disposed to help those who help themselves. It shews forth to the
world, that Massachusetts knows no man by the color of his skin, but
all, irrespective of accidental circumstances, stand upon one broad,
common, and ever enduring platform, on which the whole world may
stand and it will not fall.
    .
    .
    .
    "

You gotta read the whole thing though. It is really interesting. Uncle Tom was repulsive to Black abolitionists right from the start, and he remains repulsive to this day.

Notice that I posted about Kaepernick on August 27th, before Londoner and before people started making such a big deal about it.

But now it is really getting absurd locally. Talked to a guy, a Right Wing Media ditto head, from Santa Clara. It is folding back into local politics. Santa Clara has an elected Police Chief. He is seeking re-election, but there is also a challenger. Usually their Police Chief elections are no big deal, often uncontested.

But people are saying that Kaepernick has insulted Santa Clara Police. I say this is ridiculous. But they are faulting the incumbent Chief for not demanding that he apologize.

The challenger is the head of the Police Officer's Association, and he is backed by the more pro-real estate developer faction of the City Administration.

    Not Good!

This present police chief sounds fine, like a guy who should get his second term, as this is customary. And he was right not to comment on Kaepernick. Just stay out of it.

Are you fucking around with us SJG? A leader is suppose to lead and support his subordinates, and the police chief simply ignores the fact that Kapernick is putting the chief's subordinates in harms way, and by not commenting or backing up your staff shows lack of support and confidence. This is why he won't get a second term, because he is not doing his job in protecting his employees.

I would think SJG that you would support the union based argument in protecting labor based employment, but if it doesn't fit your far left leaning emotional based narrative, and it wasn't stated on CNN or msnbc, then I guess you don't agree with the police union do you?

You see, everything from the left liberals are only based from an emotional aspect, inciting reaction based on what feels good. It doesn't have to make common sense. It would be common sense for a liberal left leaning Union supporter to agree with the police union in this case, because the police are the ones protecting the public. Now we find the police do not want to protect during the NFL games that Kaepernick is playing in. How do you defend that hypocrisy? That's just plain nuts SJG!
  • san_jose_guy
Kaepernick has a right to protest. Very foolish if the Police Chief were to say anything about it. Kaepernick is not putting any police in any kind of danger.

If the Police Chief were to take sides, I say then he should be removed, impeached if it were not an election year. But as this Police Chief knows that he should not respond, it is find.

What I am concerned about is the neo-liberal regime and the Police Officer's Assocation behind the challenger.

I stand with Norm Stamper, retired Seattle Police Chief. He and I both support unions. But there is something different about the Police Officer's Association. If often gets into entirely improper territory.

He is taking kids that have been placed on drugs, and that is already suggesting of an abusive environment and the need to report to Child Protective Services. But he doesn't seem to think that mandatory reporting applies to him. And then he does something like marriage counseling between the child and the parents, with his doctrine that the parents are loving and that it is wrong to feel anger. But of course for the child it is not voluntary, and the child does not have oversight from CPS or the Court.

I think people like this are quite common. But this one has got a list of counter culture credentials that go back decades.

Not sure if I can impact him, but I am going to try.

Holy Shit, just heard about this:

Rick And Kay Warren Launch Saddleback Church Mental Health Ministry After Son’s Suicide
    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/03/28…

    http://www.christianpost.com/news/rick-w…

    http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2014…

    http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national…

I am absolutely sure that the hard life and suicide of this young man are the direct result of the familial scapegoating and abuse which their religion runs on.

I suspect that it is almost identical to the case with the guy I helped put into San Quentin, sexually molesting the girls, while getting the boy removed and drugged on the pretext of mental illness.

I've listened to Rick Warren's online stuff, because of his influence and because I want to understand the phenomenon. He is a first class jackass and creep. He goes on and on, "Everybody needs Recovery." He has indeed made Recovery into the new Original Sin.

And then this son would have been made the scapegoat because he can't live the insanity of the denial systems which their religion is.

Oh well, that Born Again Christianity and the ideas of Recovery and Mental Illness should be fused, that just makes it that much easier to fight against it.

    "
Warren’s youngest son, Matthew, took his own life April 6, 2013, after years of struggling with mental illness. Almost a year after his son’s suicide, Warren launched a ministry to educate the Church on its role to help people struggling with mental illness with a Mental Illness and the Church Gathering in March 2014.[12] In the year following the suicide, Warren says that more than 10,000 people wrote to him about their struggles with mental illness within the Church.
    "

I say that Warren is promoting the bogus concept of mental illness and that he is promoting what the Evangelical Churches like his are already based on, child abuse and child scapegoating.

I feel that Daniel Mackler was 100% correct when he said, "Suicide is the ultimate victory of the Family System."

Matthew Warren, another casualty of the Evangelical Movement. This Rick Warren is extremely creepy, and dangerous.

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/04/06…

This Rick Warren, founder of the Saddleback Church in Orange County California, seems to be the one who has gone the furthest, in unifying the objectives of Psychotherapy, Psychiatry, Psychiatric Medications, Recovery, Motivationalism, and Salvation Seeking. And whereas most evangelicals send out people to proselytize, this guy has a program to train "counselors", that he sends out, and they have "donated" 50,000 hours of counseling time, as of 2011. So his trademark thesis is, "Everybody needs Recovery."

I say this is a monumental threat to life, liberty, and happiness!

And now he has some sort of a Mental Health Ministry, helping people to abuse their children.

If Warren is like other evangelicals, his sermons and his writings will be saturated with accounts of all the troubles he has had with his youngest son Matthew, and of all the Christian Pity he has shown, not unlike the writings of the Pentecostal Daughter Molester I helped to put into our state prison.

I say that Warren's preaching and sermons are likely to contain enough to at least destroy his credibility, if not get a criminal conviction.

    Here is his ministry, HOPE

    http://hope4mentalhealth.com/

They even have a starter kit. This is extremely dangerous, getting more people to believe in mental illness, and on to the Recovery and Salvation Bandwagon. If it is not already this way, most of the people in the churches which go with this will have a scapegoat child!!

Must collect evidence and get these people charged, convicted, and incarcerated.

Encouraging the scapegoating of a child. Demonstrating that often a marriage stays together by lies put forth at the expense of a child. Listen to Rick and Kay Warren and see how with their idiotic and fatalistic belief system they left their youngest son Matthew no reasonable choice except suicide.

This has a great deal of similarity with the guy I helped to put into San Quentin, sexually molesting his daughters, but with the son, convincing him that he suffered from "Mental Illness" and needed to be on mind destroying drugs for the rest of his life. And doing all of this with the complete backing of his Pentecostal church.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uozvGhL8…

Please help in the fight against Rick Warren and his Hope For Mental Health ministry!

Best doctors, best therapists, best prayer warriors, but still not to be healed.

What therapy does is convince people that they are the source of their own problems!

Rick Warren explains how his son Matthew was effected this way, and so wanted to die, right now. At about 15 min into the interview!

Peter Breggin, author of "Toxic Psychiatry", has told us that people who are depressed are depressed because they have depressing lives. But Therapy, Recovery and Healing try to convince people that they themselves are the reason for their own suffering. And what can be the result of this?

Warren says that you don't need explanations, explanations don't comfort, you don't need to know why. This would mean that his son Matthew should not try and understand why and how he is being used, exploited, and abused. Rather he should just listen to his therapists, doctors, and prayer warriors.

So eventually Matthew said he was never going to be healed, and so he wanted to go to heaven right away.

Kay Warren speaking at Orange County Psychiatric Association. Says psychiatrists abandoned Matthew in hospital. Well unless someone had already convinced Matthew that he was sick in the head, he would have been jumping up and down cheering.

Rick and Kay Warren should each be charged with Murder 1.

Please help in the fight to stop Rick and Kay Warren and their Hope For Mental Health Ministry!

I say that Matthew Warren, son of Saddleback Church founders Rick and Kay Warren, was subjected to something as powerful as a voodoo curse. Psychotherapists, Psychiatrists, and Prayer Warriors working on him, convincing him that he has something wrong with him, and letting him see that Jesus is not healing him, and leading him to believe that his only solace will come in Heaven.

Clergy did not used to be subject to mandatory reporting, but now they are. But Prayer Warriors? No controls on them.

Seems like the doctors and therapists in public practice do a decent job of complying with mandatory reporting. But those in private practice, when they are marketing a Fix My Kid service to the parents, of course they cannot.

So how many Psychiatrists and Psychotherapists committed the felony of failing to report in a suspected case of child abuse?

Kay was mad, because she said a Psychiatrist "abandoned Matthew in the hospital." Well I feel that the guy still had some shred of human decency, and so even though he didn't report, he still did not want to become personally involved in a human sacrifice.

If Matthew were separated from his parents, full parent-ectomy, I am sure that he would have lived. If he could see that our society does not tolerate what his parents were doing, but instead punishes it, then he would have thrived. And if he could have been involved in efforts to protect other children, and to hold the parents responsible, then he would have been victorious.

But as it stands, Matthew did alleviate his suffering and exempt himself from the voodoo curse style of death he was being subjected to, by a pistol shot to the head. And Rick and Kay will continue, as they are now, milking this for all it is worth, for the rest of their lives.

These people believe that "Depresssion" and "Mental Illness" are concrete objective reality, just like with their other idol, ~S~A~T~A~N~.

Here, one of their conferences, showing this way of thinking:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4fY50bu…

Please help in the fight to stop Rick and Kay Warren and their Hope For Mental Health Ministry, an entity designed to promote child abuse, and help to get each Warren charged with murder in the first degree over how they drove their son Matthew to his death.

What do you think about the 2013 suicide by gunshot to the head death of 27yo Matthew Warren. He was the youngest son of Rick and Kay Warren, co-founders of the Saddleback Church in Orange County California. In just a few decades they have built their church to over 20,000 members and they claim now to have satellite congregations all around the world. Just like Jim and Tammy Baker before them, they are known for broadening the appeal of the evangelical movement. While not openly pentecostal, if you look over some of their stuff, you can see that more than anything else, it is a belief system based upon motivationalism plus compulsory denial and epic scale doses of hope.

Rick Warren: 'Mental illness took my son's life...

Interview with Rick and Kay Warren | Leadership Conference 2014, Royal Albert Hall
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uozvGhL8…

Both parents say that Matthew struggled with mental illness for his entire life. Kay is very distressed because "a psychiatrist abandoned Matthew when he was in the hospital." And Rick says that shortly before taking his own life, Matthew had said that he has had the "best psychotherapists, best psychiatrists, and best prayer warriors in the world, and that he knows that he is going to heaven."

Rick and Kay Warren had already started the Celebrating Recovery Program, which most states are using in their prisons.

In 2014, less than a year after Matthew's death, they started the Hope for Mental Health ministry.
    http://hope4mentalhealth.com/

They say they have received 10,000 letters of support from their own congregation. That would have to be at least one per family.

    Rick and Kay
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmLBZwKJ…

Here I think is Rick Warren at his best, "second chance grace place", "everybody needs recovery", "you need recovery in every area of your life."
    http://mediacenter.saddleback.com/mc/m/4…

At one of their workshops this Dr. Aaron Kheriaty M.D. from nearby UC Irvine talks about clinical depression and Christian faith.
    "depression is a spiritual trial"
    "chemical imbalance in the brain"
"abandoning my usual practice of church attendance"
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4fY50bu…

I feel that their ministry serves little other purpose than encouraging medical child abuse. And so we can statistically expect that there will be huge numbers of children being told that they have mental illness, being put in talk therapy sessions, and being put on drugs.

Has any civilized country ever prosecuted anyone for murder by psychological torture, or just for murder by voodoo?

I know that California was the first state to outlaw the practice of sexual orientation realignment therapy upon juveniles. I see this as a huge step forward. It is not at all impossible that there was something like this operating under the surface in this Matthew Warren episode.

I say that Rick and Kay Warren are master manipulators, and they are milking this for all it is worth.

I want the matter investigated, and if the evidence supports it, I want Rick and Kay to each be charged with murder in the first degree.

And drawing from Grant's, "Aliester Crowley and the Hidden God", page 82

Talks of the German Occultist Eugen Grosch "Frater Saturnus".
    Eugen Grosch

Grosch was a member of Crowley's OTO. Crowley's successor was Karl Germer who ended up running the OTO Agape Lodge in California, and being the leader succeeding Crowley. But Germer had been "Frater Saturnus" himself.

So Groshe incurred Germer's wrath. Groshe started is own organization.

According to Grant, Groshe was the one who discovered part of the secret of using sexual ritual to induce a trance that would provide an entrance to the same state as that experienced in dreams, with the obvious advantage that one can then control the dream. This is done by the male magician making the equivalent of mesmeric passes over a female priestess in a state of sexual excitement...

Grant expanded on this technique considerably .... and through his own study and practice leading the Nu-Isis Lodge. ( 50's and 60's ) London.

Grant is the bridge between Crowley and the followers is Peter Carroll and Ray Sherwin's "Chaos Magic".

Israel Regardie was born in London in 1907 to orthodox Jewish parents who had immigrated from the Ukraine. Then in 1921 the again emigrated to the United States.

Then in 1928 Regardie returned to London on an invitation to become secretary to Aleister Crowley.

4 years later the two men parted company. But Regardie had already published "A Garden of Pomegranates" in 1931, and then "Tree of Life" in 1932.

"According to the traditional philosophy of the Magicians, every man is a unique autonomous center of individual consciousness, energy and will – a soul, in a word. Like a star shining and existing by its own inward light it pursues its way in the star-spangled heavens, solitary, uninterfered with, except insofar as its heavenly course is gravitationally modified by the presence, near or far, of other stars. Since in the vast stellar spaces seldom are there conflicts between the celestial bodies, unless one happens to stray from its appointed course – a very rare occurrence – so in the realms of humankind there would be no chaos, little conflict and no mutual disturbance were each individual content to be grounded in the reality of his own high consciousness, aware of his ideal nature and his true purpose in life, and eager to pursue the road which he must follow."

In 1933 Israel Regardie joined Stella Matutina.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stella_Mat…

This was one of the break away groups from the Golden Dawn. The Golden Dawn had started to fracture as early as 1900.

So though Regardie was not old enough to have been a Golden Dawn member, when Stella Matutina collapsed, he inherited a huge cash of Golden Dawn manuscripts, which he would go on to publish, making the material available to the public for the first time.

Regardie was writing up through the 1970's, and he is still held in very high esteem.

What is left of Stella Matutina is here, Wales, Italy, Sweden, but what connection they have to the original group remains unclear.

Israel Regardie's Tree of Life is a monumental work! Written when he was about 25yo, and in 1932, awesome.

Not seeing a bio on Regardie. I want one.

Okay we have this 1987 work, Wilhelm Reich in Hell / by Robert Anton Wilson ; foreword by Christopher S. Hyatt & Donald Holmes, M.D

    https://www.amazon.com/Wilhelm-Reich-Rob…

Not clear how much this deals with Regardie.

    We have this:
    http://www.thelemapedia.org/index.php/Is…

So Regardie would have been only 18 or 20 when he published his awesome Tree of Life.

    http://llewellyn.com/author.php?author_i…

    http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/509…

    http://darkbooks.org/articles/Israel-Reg…

    http://www.golden-dawn.com/eu/displaycon…

Well, these all use the same texts. At least now I see the connection between Regardie and Wilhelm Reich.

Now, who are these Chic Cicero and Tabitha Cicero?

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chic_Cicer…

According to published accounts, Cicero was also a close personal friend and confidant of the late Dr. Israel Regardie.[2][5] Having established a temple in the tradition of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn in 1977,[6][7] Cicero was one of the key people who helped Regardie resurrect a legitimate, initiatory branch of the Order (also known as H.O.G.D.) in the United States in the early 1980s.[8][9][10] A series of letters that Regardie wrote to Chic Cicero and the Isis-Urania temple can be found online.[11] Chic is also the president of The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, Inc.

Together, Cicero and his wife Sandra Tabatha Cicero are two of the G.H. Chiefs of the modern day Order.[12] They have written several books on the Golden Dawn, Tarot, Kabbalah, and the Western mystery tradition[2] including the Essential Golden Dawn,[13] which won a COVR award in 2004 for being one of the year's best titles in the field of magic.[14]

The Ciceros have also edited, annotated and added new material to recent editions of Israel Regardie's classic texts: The Middle Pillar,[15] A Garden of Pomegranates,[16] and The Tree of Life.[17]

    https://www.goldendawnshop.com/about-the…

some of their editions on Regardie's book are available in libraries. I will get the Tree of Life, Cicero edition.

So Chokma is the second sephiroth, and it is on the viewer's right, and it is known as Wisdom, and associated with the Egyptian Neter Thoth.

That right hand pillar is the pillar of mercy, where as the left is the pillar of severity.

And here, from BOTA, Los Angeles, they always have the best Tree of Life graphics:
    http://www.bota.org/door.html

    Now, about the two pillars:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boaz_and_J…

According to Josephus in Antiquities of the Jews, Boaz (Hebrew בֹּעַז bōʿaz "In him/it [is] strength") stood on the left when entering Solomon's Temple, while Jachin (Tiberian Hebrew יָכִין yāḵîn "He/it will establish") stood on the right,[2] and were made by Hiram.[3]

Boaz ( strength ) on the left and Jachin ( he will establish on the right ), seen by the viewer entering.

The pillars had a size nearly six feet (1.8 metres) thick and 27 feet (8.2 metres) tall. The eight-foot (2.4 metres) high brass chapiters or capitals on top of the columns bore decorations of brass lilies. The original measurement as taken from The Torah was in cubits, which records that the pillars 18 cubits high and 12 cubits around, and hollow, four fingers thick. (Jeremiah 52:21–22). Nets of checkerwork covered the bowl of each chapiter, decorated with rows of 200 pomegranates, wreathed with seven chains for each chapiter, and topped with lilies (1 Kings 7:13–22, 41–42).

Okay, now this guy has got his Egyptian-Hermetic Temple on Second Life, and it has the columns, not at the entrance, but in the East, on opposite sides of his magical altar. Viewer's Left is Black and Right is White. And then the checker boards, black and white, and Amorc some times has it in the center, and in black and white triangles.

Columns seem to be non-load bearing.

    Some provocative Egyptian paintings:

Marseille Tarot, Priestess, does not show the columns, but other tarot decks do. But something hanging behind her does suggest them. Notice the double crown.

Pope card does show the columns, though no colors. Supposed to be a different crown, triple crown.

Masonic Temple, Salt Lake City. Lots of columns, but not seeing B and J. Notice the three floor candle stands next to the four cornered table in the center.

Similar, another room of theirs, but three candle stands next to a triangular table.

    Still no B and J.

Here discussion, and in the layout the show Solomon's temple, B on the Left, J on the Right, and passed through as you enter the sanctuary from a courtyard.

    Here they are load bearing.

To me these have always seemed similar to the twisted columns, four of them which hold up a cover in the center of St. Peter's Basilica:
    http://jonathanwatmough.com/wp-content/u…

Don't remember the name for those columns or that part of the Basilica, but it is just at the stairs which go down into the crypt.

Here they seem to be non-load bearing, and the arrangement and or colors may be reversed.

Well this, tied to Golden Dawn, has Jachin on the left and Boaz on the right, but they still have strength on the left and wisdom ( Chokma ) on the right.

really interesting Tree of Life picture:
    http://www.tarotofthepomegranate.com/kab…

The reprinting of Regardie's 1932 book is weak on descriptive pictures. I'm going to get the Cicero version and compare them. It likely has good supplementals without compromising the original work. Compare them side by side I will.

A most interesting site, seemingly made by a Seattle Occult Oriented Artist.

Pomegranate's probably is about the same idea as in Regardie's earlier book.

As I know, an Egyptian Pylon is two trapezoidal towers, with a passage way or door to a passage way in the center.

It can be just part of an outdoor wall, or the entrance to a building, or something you find inside the building.

And this is important as in the Book of the Dead, Papyrus of Ani
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Papyrus_of…

    http://www.sacred-texts.com/egy/ebod/ind…

It includes "Pylons of the House of Osiris", and this seems to be the Duat
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duat

Here, Pylons of the House of Osiris
    http://www.ancienttexts.org/library/egyp…

And so they list 21 pylons. Well that plus one more for the sojourner, The Fool, makes 22. I have never read this anywhere, but to me it seems like this must be the origin of the Tarot. Except here, they are all frightening women.

Here, look for "The Pylons of the House of Osiris:"
    https://hermetic.com/texts/ani

So Masonic Temples have these two columns, Boaz and Jachin. What are the meanings of these? Is it always Boaz that is on the left and black? And is it ever reversed if the columns are inside the building, or if you will first encounter them when leaving? And are these always non-load bearing columns?

And of AMORC's temples, is the pylon in the East the two columns? Is that the idea and maybe the origin of the two columns?

    San Jose
    http://spiritualnetworks.com/file/pic/ph…
Two statues facing each other in the gateway?

    near Paris
    https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c…
notice the starry sky and the gate between the two parts of the pylon? Thoth is associated with the stars.

The Masons have a checkerboard of black and white squares, and other groups copy this. What does it mean. But AMORC likes black and white triangles. Why?

Aquarian Conspiracy was the first book I bought for the girl I would go on to marry. As we did not live together, I bought one copy for myself and one copy for her.

I wanted to know more, more than what I had learned in school, and certainly more than what I had learned from the family.

Only way to do this is just to jump in and try to find one's way.

Now something else also came out. This book was the very first place I ever heard mention of the word "Rosicrucian". Ferguson was talking about the early 1600's, as seeing this as a precursor to the types of changes she was predicting for the 21st Century.

This was long before everything was available online, but using dictionaries and encyclopedias in libraries, I still could find out very little about what Rosicrucian meant or was a reference to.

Now a few weeks later we were at the San Jose Symphony, and I saw it again, the second time in my life. This was an advertisement in the program for Rosicrucian Order AMORC, and their Egyptian Museum.

Now this really blew me away. I still had very little idea what Rosicrucian meant. I had no idea what this group was, or why it existed in the 20th Century. And not they were connecting it to Ancient Egypt.

Well I had always loved everything about Ancient Egypt. In elementary school I used plywood and sand glued on with varnish, to make a huge model of the Great Pyramid.

And I love the movie, The Egyptian, about Akhenaten.

So we slept in her apartment, then in Palo Alto, and then in the morning I called AMORC to make sure they were open on a Sunday, and off we went.

Too nice of a day to spend it all indoors.

I observed a couple of pairs of teenagers, getting fairly hot and heavy. One of the girls just could not stay away from her guy and his face.

Some of them were continuing in the ladies bathroom in the park.

One of the girls had a beach towel. I think it was for putting down on the cold floor.

Someone called the cops. I think park workers. These kids were maybe about 14yo. Some of them got a ride home from the cops.

That kind of irritated me, that they were getting interdicted.

But here is my main point. Today, it looks like at least in some places, even the kids who cut school and break rules, do not smoke! And this is true even with our new marijuana legalization.

I see this as a huge step forward!

Back in my day, it used to be that kids divided into goody goody parent pleasers, and "Burn Outs".

Whereas for myself, I certainly was not a parent pleaser, but I was never going to do the tobacco related stuff the burn outs did. My rebellion against my parents and the rules of our society went way way back and much much deeper. I did not need to seek approval via stupidity.

So today I approved of what these kids were doing. Sounded like mostly oral sex.

They have no where else to go. And school is mostly a waste of time. I wish the cops could have lightened up.

And I am so happy that at least some of today's young people that do such things do not smoke, and that at least in some places, this becoming more common.

Shailynn, like it or not , tobacco used finally does seem to be dropping among teens. No longer is it seen as a necessary component of defying adult authority. I am most pleased to see this happening, finally.

Justme62, as I have said before many times, I am 24/7 embedded in some very sensitive and publicly visible matters. I am always on call, never having even one minute off.

And also, I have no interest in sex tourism, as I reject most forms of consumer recreation. My interest in strip clubs in other places, pertains to expanding a business into those territories. Getting cozy with local strippers will be an initial way of gaining local associates in these new places. Sure it is sex, but there is no shortage here of women to have sex with, or of dolled up strippers and Viet Coffee girls either. And the new places have an appeal for me which goes far beyond sex.

My plans are very big. But I can have such plans because I don't live in this world as a passive consumer. I don't live by selling my time and energy in order to get money to spend to consume. I am very active on the ground right now. And when some things complete and I take to the road, I will be extremely active in these new places too.

And also, as I have explained, I must keep a firewall between my online life and my f2f life. Please don't anyone take this personally. I have talked about lots of things here. I can do this online, where I could never do it f2f, because online I can build my firewall where it is needed. F2f I have to be much more careful what I talk about. And my priority is always going to be to the necessary and reasonable operational security of my own affairs. And as far as people speculating about me, I'm not going to be baited into confirming or denying anything.

Thank you though Justme62, for sharing freely of you Mexican and American strip club experiences. I do appreciate this. And Mexico is so interesting that we should be getting more information about it than we are.

Maria de (1883-1936) was a Russian occultist, mystic, author and journalist who wrote and taught about sexual magical ritual practices while also being linked with the Parisian surrealist movement. She established and led an occult society known as the Confrérie de la Flèche d'or (Brotherhood of the Golden Arrow) in Paris from 1932 to 1935. In 1931, she compiled, translated and published in French a collection of published and unpublished writings by American occultist Paschal Beverly Randolph on the subject of sexual magic and magic mirrors. Her translation and publication of Randolph's previously little known ideas and teachings was the source of Randolph's subsequent influence in European magic.[11] She augmented the text with what she claimed were some of his oral teachings.[12] The following year, she published a semi-autobiographical novella, Le Rite sacré de l'amour magique (The Sacred Ritual of Magical Love.)

    Sustainable Silicon Valley

    http://www.wp.sustainablesv.org/about-us…

Santa Clara, Lafayette going under the train tracks. On your right, The Loft. It was a funky old warehouse building. But then they ruined it during the dotcom bubble, making it into code legal high priced yuppie lofts. Now it is the HQ for Sustainable Silicon Valley.

On your Right, a vacant lot adjacent to the train tracks, used by alcoholics and drug dealers. Neighbors pissed.

Returning to showing funky areas. This Stevens Creek and Bascom is West of the Downtown. The flooding was all along the Coyote Creek, and that is East of Downtown.

The entire county only has two nude strip clubs. And only one is in San Jose, long running, no touching, designed to limit even talking. On Bascom at Stevens Creek, in the unincorporated area known as Burbank.

    https://www.google.com/maps/place/San+Jo…

Now, looking South down Bascom, I consider this to be one of the more funky retail areas. Lots of funky stores, lots of AMPs, and it goes out to highway 280, and then there is Valley Medical Center.

But, I see the perimeter fencing around a shopping center, the tell tale sign of impending redevelopment.

And then back on Stevens Creek / San Carlos

    Moon Zoom
    http://www.moonzooom.net/

    https://www.google.com/maps/place/Moon+Z…

so say from where San Carlos goes over the railroad tracks, out west until Stevens Creek crosses highway 17, and maybe beyond, to me this is the older san Jose of the 60's and 70's, before yupificaiton.

And lots of AMPs along this stretch, and around the highway 17 crossing

    https://www.google.com/maps/@37.3234891,…

    https://www.google.com/maps/@37.3218998,…

Then continuing West into Santa Clara, still similar, but not as case hardended in its look.

    https://www.google.com/maps/@37.3233735,…

THen out here on Park, Ave, West of the downtown.
    https://www.google.com/maps/@37.3261448,…

Then Stockton St. west of the downtown.
    https://www.google.com/maps/@37.3324519,…

Always the enemy is redevelopment, putting in their 3k per month apartments and $300k condos.

Even less funky zones remaining in the smaller cities to the West. Always real estate developers trying to upscale, and city councilors wanting the extra tax revenue, and sometimes appreciation of their own real estate portfolios.

The prices make it unlivable as it is, but these people always want to push it higher. They try to prevent market corrections, and instead forcing the kind of blowouts which not only crash the real estate market, but also cause large scale job losses and business failures.

Here, Redwood City, The Hanky Panky, awesome place!

Lets look at a few more San Jose Funky Areas. Mostly I go for industrial buildings, or third or 4th tier retail. Auto repair buildings are kind of in a class by their own, being both industrial and retail, but often very dirty as well.

Looking out on Alum Rock, not many industrial buildings in that area. Retail, or Residential.

Looking out on King, from Alum Rock to Story. Not many industrial buildings either.

Look all the way out to Tully, then Tully to Eastridge Shoping center. This and King are interesting because they are on the main public transit line, 22 bus.

Yes, there are some industrial buildings, but usually used for retail, on Tully West of King. But East of King, there really are not.

Lets follow the Light Rail Train, out of the Downtown, going North.

Yes, ridden up this by bicycle many times. Once you go under 880 and then 101, you get into some nice industrial buildings. But then you get to Santa Clara's River Mark Area. Then the light rail forks at Tasman,.

Lets back up and look at North 4th St.
When 4th st goes under hwy 101, it becomes Zanker Road. And yes, we have the iconic industrial tilt ups.

Here, Ro Khanna, claiming he is doing something for Silicon Valley, but replacing Mike Honda, a long serving congressman, with one of the most liberal voting records in the US House. Khanna is not going to do anything that Honda would not have done better.

But what he does do is put out his neo-liberal ideology. And all this does is denigrate working people.

He is working his hardest to build Dougster's two tier society, and to justify it. He seems to think that working class families are a social hygiene problem.

On East side of Lawrence Exp, but this is Sunnyvale.

We used to have "Computer Literacy". Great name, and very near there too. But it went with the dotcom bust.

So Digital Guru is awesome for books for all the new programming languages, environments, and conventions. This stuff proliferates faster than anyone could keep up. Whole section for hard core EE books too.

Don't know what attracts these stores to this specific area.

    Awesome bookstore.

    http://pebooks.com/

    But, no longer here.

We had always had lots of independent book stores. Most had a new age / occult section, if not that being the main focus.

    But no more.

Anyway, Psychic Eye came to Mountain View and set up their large store. Lots of hardcore occult and sex magic books. More than I had ever seen. More intense.

Less like the nearby East West on Castro St., run by the Ananda fellowship. There stuff is more New Agey.

I guess the chain stores go for Self-Improvement.

And then the big chain book stores like Barnes and Nobles, they have that, plus some good academic grade critical theory books.

Anyway, I always loved Psychic Eye, good amps around there then,. Lots of young lovelies behind the cash register too.

They had one in Reno, two in LV, two in San Francisco, and about a dozen more in Calif.

The owner had travel trailers parked out back. I believe she traveled from one store to the other.

But with the dotcom bust, most of their stores closed. :(.

According to officials, the contribution would benefit more than 10,000 students over 10 years.[

More about Common Core Standards, Think Together, and Irvine Company CEO Donald Bren:

    "
Advancing one Catholic perspective, over one hundred college-level scholars signed a public letter criticizing the Common Core for diminishing the humanities in the educational curriculum: The "Common Core adopts a bottom-line, pragmatic approach to education and the heart of its philosophy is, as far as we can see, that it is a waste of resources to 'over-educate' people,"[68] though the Common Core set only minimum—not maximum—standards. Mark Naison, Fordham University Professor, and co-founder of the Badass Teachers Association, raised a similar objection: "The liberal critique of Common Core is that this is a huge profit-making enterprise that costs school districts a tremendous amount of money, and pushes out the things kids love about school, like art and music".[
    "

    Diane Ravitch has also stated:

    "
The financial cost of implementing Common Core has barely been mentioned in the national debates. All Common Core testing will be done online. This is a bonanza for the tech industry and other vendors. Every school district must buy new computers, new teaching materials, and new bandwidth for the testing. At a time when school budgets have been cut in most states and many thousands of teachers have been laid off, school districts across the nation will spend billions to pay for Common Core testing. Los Angeles alone committed to spend $1 billion on iPads for the tests; the money is being taken from a bond issue approved by voters for construction and repair of school facilities. Meanwhile, the district has cut teachers of the arts, class size has increased, and necessary repairs are deferred because the money will be spent on iPads. The iPads will be obsolete in a year or two, and the Pearson content loaded onto the iPads has only a three-year license.[

    Homeless High School Students:

In Santa Clara County, according to "Count Me," a study-in-progress launched in 2016 by the nonprofit organization, 12,000 to 15,000 high school students couch surf every night. They are part of the count of 110,000 homeless high school students in the county. The percentage of homeless college students is even higher–45 percent to 55 percent of enrollees. The main reasons for youth homelessness are family conflicts and because their families asked them to leave.

Most people can't closely follow such things. And many totally unwilling to get involved. But I am still learning much.

Last two days met the first persons who actually have a developed counter view, 3 persons total. Seem to be Republicans, but even more than that, seem to subscribe to extreme type of thinking coming from Trump and Alt Right. They immediately see that I am on the other side, and argue back. How to make a road trip through Texas? Most of West Texas has no strip clubs. There are reportedly great ones in El Paso. But then nothing until you get to Odessa, which is close to 300 miles.

Other than El Paso, nothing west of Odessa, and that is just one, Jaguars.

One in Lubbock, and two in Amarillo, but south of those nothing. Real small towns on the map too, less than 5000, less than 1000 persons. On the map because there is nothing bigger.

Going on the border, there is Praxis Guermo, Porviner, about 50 miles west of El Paso. In Mexico, every border town is likely ready to deliver. But otherwise nothing till Odessa.

Ojinaga / Presidio, on the Mexican side, probably ready to deliver. But otherwise nothing.

Artesia NM, between Carlsbad and Roswell, one strip club, Onyx. From there could go to the one club in Lubbuck. But more interested in a Southern Route, getting eventually to New Orleans.

Using highway close to Mexico, Alpine, had no strip clubs, but a campus of Sul Ross Texas State. Then Del Rio / Ciudad Acuna. The Mexican side can probably deliver. Also Del Rio has another Sul Ross Campus.

Going to Odessa, just drive thru Midland, then it could be Abilene, maybe stop at Fort Worth, then Dallas.

Or it could be Odessa, then San Angelo ( one strip club and a 4 year secular college ), then either Del Rio and Uvalde, with Sul Ross Campuses, or just onto San Antonio.

Alpine has Sul Ross. Marfa and Sanderson real small, no nothing, just places to add water to steam locomotives, route called "2nd Transcontinental Railroad".

San Jose Homicide, East Of The Downtown, 25th St. Makes for 30th homicide of this year, but last year by this time the number was up to 45.

For its size, compared to other US Cities, San Jose is very safe.

This has a really interesting melody and harmony. There are fusion jazz versions of this, and they are instantly recognizable, even without the lyrics. This version makes a pleasant change to the lyrics. To my ear, they must have some sort of pickup and amplification on the wood bass, order to get more sustain.

^^^^^ So Countryman, were you indeed inundated with front room makeout sessions, on your TJ trip.

The front room makeout session is the Philosopher's Stone.

@sjg front room makeout sessions are the key to arriba in tj! The key to otc in u. s! It is definitely the philosopher's stone!

It is all about the ficha drink and picking your own chica! Get that front room makeout session going and when it is time for arriba fireworks will happen! This could also be done in your local club! Instead of arriba it will be otc where your hometown chica could be waking up in your bed every morning! A wise man once said sex tourism and lapdances are for chumps and that is why!

On buying dances I am that tough.

On sex tourism I am not that tough, but I don't support the idea of it. Experiencing something once can really change a guy.

But a regular diet of endorphin rushes from LDKing is no different from morphine addiction.

Strip clubs and sex tourism though, they are not the real solution to anything. We need to create those solutions ourselves.

What I was looking for above, the van bodies, its called Unicell, and its in Buffalo NY.

This is the type I like best, because it is such an improvement over what is typically used.

One huge rear hatch. Made for Ford and GM, but only GM still makes the vehicles.

    https://www.unicell.com/wp-content/uploa…

Of course I'd like to see them made for the double tires chassis cabs, and for other chassis cabs, and in motor home, food service, and external tool bin hatches too.
