I can't remember ever getting a horrible dance from a white girl, but I've had absolutely terrible dances from black girls. I mean "I don't even want her to finish the song" bad. I will say that black girls who work at non-black clubs work harder than black girls at black clubs. Latina girls seem to be all about the money, although I've mostly dealt with Cubans so I agree with Papi's sentiment there. With white girls, it depends: the ones who like me really like me, the ones who don't completely ignore me. Maybe there's some reverse thing going on between my experiences and those of most people.

I assume this is if I'm entering a SC. If it's a black club, I'd prefer a song I can dance to: particularly something that's currently popular in the city where the club is. IME, black dancers are more entertained and/or impressed by guys who can dance as well as they can. If it's not a black club, I'll go with "Cult of Personality" by Living Colour. It's just a little bit out there and it was CM Punk's last entrance theme in WWE.

At what used to be my "home" spot, there was about a three-month period in which cops came and circled the club all the time. They checked for nudity (it was a bikini club) and grinding. Guess they'd heard reports of that and more going on. Place eventually went downhill for "2AM" reasons.

1. Tijuana (HK, etc.) - just to see if it's really all that great
2. Atlanta (Follies, Onyx/Magic City) - I've gone to other clubs in the A and tried to go to Follies (they were closing when I got there), so it's just a matter of unfinished business
3. Detroit - everyone says it's wild, so why not?

I always put the time that corresponds with the majority of my club visit. As a night owl, I often get to clubs between 11 and 12 but I often stay until at least 2. I always put 'after midnight' in those situations, although I make mention of times in my review text as well.
If it's split exactly in half, I'd use the time corresponding to the half with more action.

Mill is signed to Ross's label, which makes him instantly popular in Miami (it also helps that Ross is on the track). The dancers probably know Mill, and I'd be willing to bet a few of them know Ross. Oh: and they all want to pretend they're bosses.

Did you not see who else i was dancing with when I was there? Was it not obvious that you didn't fit the description of what I was looking for? They were young and all but one of them was reasonably curvy. I gave you one dance out of pity, and honestly I wish I just gave you the $10 without the dance. Then you kept bugging me afterwards. At least you got me to leave the club: had it not been for you, I'd have stayed all night, spent more money, and possibly never made it back home.

Personally, I like the working girls who beg for help say their lights will be cut off in 15 minutes and then have a laundry list of guys they won't see. Can't tell what color they are when your lights are off, sweetheart.

I read Florida, Georgia, and Louisiana. Florida because I live here, Georgia because it's close in proximity and I travel there (Atlanta) on occasion, and Louisiana because I take trips to NO every so often. I also read the Hong Kong and Adelita reviews so I can dream.

AAs are moving south because the cost of living is lower and the weather is nicer...which is probably the reason everyone else who moves to the south does so. Most black people who move south are moving to Atlanta or Charlotte or somewhere in Florida: it's not like they're moving to the small towns of 1500 that time forgot where stars and bars are as common as streets and roads.

I don't think I've ever received a recommendation on a dancer from another dancer. Closest I've come was the last time I went to a SC and this girl (likely) told her friend to walk up to me after she and I finished a few dances.

I actually got dances once from a girl who was in the video for the first song. She used to work at King of Diamonds in Miami.
That 'Coco' song is just funny; and I totally agree that the music nowadays is...lacking. A lot of popular rap does sound the same now, so I understand jerikson's POV (assuming he doesn't listen to rap that often). However, GoVikings is correct in that it all doesn't sound the same. I would probably think a bunch of (insert music genre I don't really listen to) sounds the same too. Lord knows I can't tell the difference between one techno/dance song and the next.

This happened to me a couple weeks ago (her asking for my number without giving hers in return - mutual exchanges are more frequent for me). I didn't think anything of it and thought we'd built up enough rapport, so I gave it to her. She texted me Tuesday night and then again Wednesday morning. Said she'd been trying to text me but that I hadn't responded. Eh, whatever...at any rate, we had a decent text convo Wednesday.
The odd thing about number exchanges for me is that I always tell women I'm from out of town - as in "not anywhere close" and don't visit often - so they know there's no chance of me becoming a regular. Some girls still ask anyway.

I prefer fuller clubs. Allows me to "hide" and not have to worry about unattractive dancers harassing me for dances. IME, that's been much more of a problem than me being unable to find an attractive dancer.

Don't go to E11even: it's 200. Scarlett's is 100 (don't go there either). Usher's supposed to be at E11 and both places are supposed to have some free stuff. I'd be down for that Tootsies day if I were still there. Here I have no such options.

Somehow the thread got off track. Just to clarify, I'm not talking about the race aspect. I'm talking about the "sometime over the summer" reference in terms of the time elapsed between the trip and the review.
