One thing I will give the top 10: if not for it, I never would've gone to Inner Room. It was up there once when I was on the way home and I stopped by on the strength of that. I plan on going to Baby Dolls in Dallas for the same reason when I go to WrestleMania in April.
The rankings overall are "ha ha" funny, though: I can name four clubs in Tampa that are better than Doll House, and that number grows to something in double digits when Pasco is included. Shoot, I stayed literally around the corner from Doll House and passed it every time I went out when I was in Tampa in April.

I don't do VIP, I don't drink, and I don't make it rain. Given those three things, it's really easy for me to stay within that amount...although I often don't. If I'm at a $10 place, I'm good to go with $200. If I'm at a $25 spot, then I'm pretty much resigned to 1-2 girls...but even then, if I space out the dances correctly and the music isn't terrible I'll be fine.

Best bit of customer service I ever got was at the local spot when I was a regular: there was a new girl and I guess no one wanted to try her out. Owner gave me $20 in singles and asked me to get dances from her and report back to him. She did pretty well.
Outside of that...well, I didn't directly experience it but Tootsies treats people who get tables very nicely (I was at the table but didn't buy the bottle or order anything). If I drank, I'd probably do bottle service all the time there.

I'd live at home in South Florida, particularly Broward. I agree with Papi's points about Miami, but things are better in Broward (sans the customer service part, given the experience I had when a security guard accused me of shoplifting). The main thing with Miami is that there doesn't seem to be a pronounced middle class: probably because of the tourism aspect that Papi mentioned.
Anyway: my people are in Broward, there are all kinds of SC options, and it doesn't get cold often. That's why I'll be back there in 357 days...not that I'm counting down or anything.
Home not being an option, my choice would be the Tampa area.

Been asked that once, at Foxy Lady in Atlanta. I went in the club and sat down at a table and didn't do anything. Didn't talk to anyone, didn't get a drink. It was right after the George Zimmerman verdict, so I really wasn't in the mood to be social (I went out to relax and/or clear my head). Finally, one dancer walked up to me and asked. Told her no and she didn't believe me at first. Told her I was from Florida and showed her my license and then we talked about the GZ/TM situation. Ended up getting quite a few dances.

I'm still mostly in the camp of feeling like I shouldn't have to ask for dances, mainly for the reasons Papi stated above. If I walk up to a girl, either I have to be really bored or she has to be really fine. I'm fine with sitting around, listening to the music for a few hours, and then going home with 90-95% of my money.
"Maybe they don't want to deal with rejection"...that's part of the job. It's part of any sales job, and given the facts that they often work as contractors and that their money is commission-based, they might want to get on the stick.

Pretty much what everyone else said: in South Florida in particular there don't seem to be alcohol restrictions and the party is always on. Tootsies closes at 6, Scarlett's supposedly closes at 8, and E11 is supposedly 24-7. Silly as it sounds, people go at night because (other) people go at night. Sometimes the SC is "the place to be" in the way that regular clubs normally are.
For me...if I go to a regular club, it may close at 3 (if I'm not in South Florida). and then I often feel like going somewhere else. Enter the SC. End the night with a few LDs and everything is great.

Related: I'm a regular blood donor and there's this question on the questionnaire that asks whether you've had sex with anyone who takes payment for sex in the last 12 months. Honestly, that question is the reason I haven't done anything further than dances.
I know I can just lie on the question, but that's not my style.

If you combine all the areas, you probably can get 1500 people in there at once. It's definitely possible within a night, as the article stated: when some people leave around 2-3, new people come in.

She can't have one of those stupid "are you ready for me"/"you can't handle this" trash talk type intros. This only happens at black clubs, so most of you won't have to worry about it.
Come at me with that overconfident BS, I'll send you back to the dressing room broke (wallet) and broken (spirit).

I live in a non-SC area, so my "regularness" only comes when I go out of town. I average one out of town trip every three months, but I hit multiple clubs each trip (five during both trips in 2015) so...anyway, I've been going strong since summer 2011.

1. Rolex (now Climaxxx), 1999. I think they just had floor and table dances. I wasn't really into the SC thing and only went because someone from up north wanted to check it out after hearing about it in all the rap songs...for those who don't know, Rolex was the KOD/Magic City/Onyx of the 90s. Went to SCs a few other times, but the first time I 'really' went to a SC wasn't until 2010.
2. Juicy J wouldn't consider it a strip club, but I went to a local bikini bar for a friend's birthday. It seemed cool so I kept going back. Girls were pretty (I live in a college town, which had a lot to do with it) and the dances were affordable. The floor dances had pretty good mileage and often turned into full LDs if you chose correctly. Funny thing is the club went downhill almost exactly when I got a new job and started making more money. It's shut down and come back a couple of times, but I haven't been there in two years. Actually drove by it tonight. I'll probably see what it's like in the fall, and pray none of my students will be there.

I do everything alone (movies, regular club, SC) so it doesn't matter to me. I usually prefer going alone, but I'll make exceptions if I'm hanging out with people I probably wouldn't see otherwise. If SW is to be believed, the dancers prefer guys who SC alone "because they're there for dances rather than just being around their friends".

Of the last 5 years (covering the time that I've really been SCing), I'd go with "She Will" by Wayne and Drake.
Historically, there are about 20 Miami bass type songs I'd go with. That particular subgenre of music was pretty much made for the SC atmosphere.

I copy and paste with Word and haven't had the character issue, although I have seen it in other reviews.
Always better to write beforehand and then transfer, though. Learned that lesson the hard way enough. Even copying your text is good enough.

I imagine this would only really hurt people who live in central Broward (Sunrise, Plantation, Lauderdale Lakes, Lauderhill, FTL proper). If you live in north or south Broward, you should be able to just call and get service from right across the line.

My most pathetic moment is tame in comparison, but that might make it even more pathetic.
First time I ever "really" went to a SC (as in 'went on my own accord, rather than being dragged by others') I got what are still the two best LDs I've ever had. Paid her the 50 and then asked for a kiss on the lips. She said no. I offered to pay her. She still said no. Somehow she got me to pay $10 for a kiss on the cheek...which I've come to realize is pretty much standard and expected behavior.
More than anything, I consider it pathetic because I was momentarily warped into that fantasy nonsense the chicks at SW. One and only time I completely lost control at a SC...if I made that mistake last weekend, it could have cost me four figures. Thankfully I make - and learn from - mistakes when I'm broke.

Going with what shadowcat said, wouldn't the best city be the city with the best club?
As far as the amenities...the only ones I care about are dancer attractiveness, LD quality, and hours (in that order). Dancer attractiveness is only above LD quality because I'll never know a dancer's LD quality if I don't find her attractive.
Everything else is negligible.
