"Chances are she's nowhere near as hot as day 1. Defeats the whole purpose of seeing a stripper: no emotional connection so u can trade her in for a new one at a moments notice."
Dammit, I've been doing it wrong!

@LMN - thanks for answering the question.
Off topic, but have you been to that new strip club that opened downtown? I think it's called E11even. I haven't been, but am curious about it. Sounds like a shit show. Thoughts?

I assume your psychiatrist(s) have diagnosed personality disorders? If so, would you mind sharing what they are?

"@Lone_Wolf- I don't feel too bad about not giving an explanation. She has ignored my texts plenty of times, plus it's not like we're boyfriend girlfriend."
Ranukam, here's my thoughts on the matter. If I had an ATF I'd been doing business with for 3 years, I would tell her I wasn't coming back.
I imagine that inherent stripper flakiness aside, she probably treated you alright. And I ascribe to the golden rule of treating others the way you'd want to be treated.
It's really easy to dehumanize strippers but at the end of the day they're people too. Weird, fucked up, broken people at times ... but people. Your disappearing will bug her on some level. Easily on a professional level - why is he gone? What about my product is no longer desirable? Shit, my cash flow is going to suffer. It might even affect her on a personal level - yes, the PL's wet dream: the stripper really cares! It doesn't take much effort on your behalf to give her some clarity on why you're not coming back. Why not rack up the positive karma points?
Finally, I don't think you'll be hassled more to return if you make the effort to tell her. Heck, if she's cool, and I'm guessing she didn't get to 3 yr fave status by being insane, she might accept it and bug you less.

@Lone_Wolf - glad you enjoyed yourself. I agree. It's fun to shower money on a dancer and watch her roll around on a pile of bills.

Anyone else find themselves looking at the backgrounds more than the dancers themselves?
Like what kinds of stickers/magnets/graffiti are on the lockers? What's on the tables? Whether the locker room is carpeted (ewwww?) or not, etc.

Oh, they totally care.
I had a fave who I only went to her club to see. Never got dances with anyone else. The topic of possessiveness came up once or twice and she would always say "I'm not possessive. You can get dances with whoever you want."
One day, I was talking to her about some other club I'd been to (out of state!) and how I spent money on a dancer differently than I typically spent it on her and she got a bit worked up. Basically I was drunk and in a generous mood and tipped the non-fave dancer for her time/conversation. I almost never do that with dancers. Poor value to me. Well, my fave got pissed that I always made her "work" for the money.
It was one of those situations where I was amused by her reaction and couldn't wipe a silly grin off my face. Which only made her madder. Which made it that much harder for me to keep a straight face. I thought steam was gonna come out of her ears like in the cartoons.
I guess it's a little different than what's in the OP/thread, but my point is these girls aren't as zen as they claim to be when it comes to their regulars and money.

@Lone-Wolf - I don't mind being butt-slid closer to the edge of the seat. Part of it is probably that I'm in my 30s, but in my experience I enjoy those dances better than the ones where I'm sitting with proper chair posture. Maybe I just haven't met dancers that really know how to give a proper dance when one is sitting "normally"?

My ATF and I used to schedule/communicate solely through email.
Most of the emails were me asking if she was working and her confirming. I didn't clog her inbox with non-scheduling randomness and she didn't clog mine with blatant "come see me ****day!" one-liner emails.
That being said, every month or so she'd send me an email saying hi, referencing something we'd talked about, and telling me about what was going on in her life. Maybe she'd include a link to something interesting/funny she read on the internet and thought I'd like.
I viewed it as customer service, marketing, keeping herself top of mind, maintaining the business relationship, etc. Still, I couldn't help feeling an uplift upon seeing an email from her in my inbox.
We're human and I think we fundamentally want to be liked, feel needed, and be thought of.

Most places I go, the lap dances are done somewhere on the main floor and separate rooms are VIP where you buy 30 min blocks of time. I like the privacy of VIP, but it can be prohibitively expensive in some markets. Many places in NYC are $1000/hr and that's without any booze.
I don't like getting LDs at my chair in the center of the main room. I prefer when they're done off to the side somewhere. Ideally on some couch/bench rather than in a chair. I like the girl having enough room to straddle me, drape herself on me, move around, etc. I like being able to relax and sink into the couch while the dancer does her thing. Those little strip club chairs with wheels that you typically find on the floor don't allow for that.

Are they all about money? No.
Is it possible to make a real-life connection outside of the club? Yes.
Can I share stories about them leading normal lives? I've only befriended one dancer outside of the club. I'll have to say no on this one. She is unconventional, hence wouldn't fit in many people's definition of normal.
I wouldn't encourage anyone to go to strip clubs with the goal of TRULY befriending dancers. Way too high a risk of getting played. Even if you manage to hack through all the hustling, like a jungle explorer with a machete... Well, be careful what you wish for. You just might get it.

I almost forgot, a sugar daddy website has a billboard ad in NYC:
http://m.nydailynews.com/1.1549974
It's fairly tame. Google "seeking arrangement billboard" to see some of the billboards in other cities like Chicago.
Blows my mind that there are billboard ads for that. What's next - Asian massage parlors?
