I can't imagine a cop willingly going undercover as a stripper. Standing on a street corner for a couple of hours is one thing. Dancing on stage in the nude, especially in a town where she has to work or live is completely different. I can imagine a club making a deal with the cops and letting the cops watch the hidden cameras in their rooms too, but only if the club owner is trying to get out of something and the cops are willing to let the club owner go and only arrest his customers.
The dancer is right to be cautious. It is likely that an undercover cop will go in and ask for extras in order to arrest the dancer for prostitution and the club manager/owner for running a brothel.

It's common for undercover cops to try to get strippers to agree to prostitution so that they can arrest them and bust the club. I've been asked by a few dancers at one club if I was working for the club, so that club has guys try to catch the dancers meeting customers OTC or doing extras ITC and when the club catches them they fire the dancers. That club does that so that they don't get busted by the cops for anything illegal.
It's pretty safe to ask as long as you're discreet and aren't rude about it. I have never heard about a cop working undercover as a stripper, and that's the only way I can imagine you getting into trouble. Most strippers do something illegal, even Stiletto doesn't give her real ID to the clubs where she works, and most club managers know that. They don't want an undercover cop arresting half of their strippers and putting them out of business!

I've only cum once from a lap dance and I was embarrassed about it. I apologized and tipped the dancer more than I usually tipped her (she's a regular) and she was fine with it. Other than that, I've never cum from a dance and until she did that I never thought I would. Who wants to go home with that mess in their pants?

There's no way to know. As someone else commented, at some clubs almost everyone there does them and at other clubs almost no one does them. All that you can do is ask the dancers who you're interested in what they do.

They obviously earn enough money doing it to be worthwhile. If it was that or work for minimum wage somewhere, I'd take the bathroom troll job. It pays better and the hours are shorter.

I have also seen it in a club. Last week my current favorite found a customer for another dancer who was having a bad night. The other dancer was her ride home though.

Everyone has different taste in women. I wouldn't worry about it. Keep yourself looking good so that you like what you see in the mirror when you're getting ready and there will be tons of guys who will also think that you're attractive.

Dancers aren't earning what they used to earn, but the prostitutes who work in strip clubs are still earning good money. The strippers are seeing them earn good money while they go home broke.
What do you think the strippers are going to do? The ones who need the money are going to become prostitutes.

If that passes, most porn filming will move out of L.A. to neighboring cities that don't require the actors to use condoms. It won't change anything because it's a single city.

There are either one or two strippers working at one of the clubs in Pittsburgh who are Pitt students out of over 50 strippers who work there. Statistic number one is very questionable. I'd say that that study was probably wrong.

There is a mother-daughter pair working at the Filly Corral outside of Pittsburgh, Pa. They're 36 or 37 and 20.

Many clubs will hire almost anyone to strip, you just need to show them your ID to prove you're 18. A couple don't even ask for that, I know two strippers who were stripping when they were 17 who never got caught. One of them has her photo on the web site of the club she's working at now that she's legal.

Are you sure? I know of two strippers in Pittsburgh who started stripping before they turned 18. The clubs hired them without checking their ID's.

Depending on the strippers working, you can spend $600 on air dances and you can also spend $20 on a lap dance and have FS during the lap dance.
What happened was probably in between those two extremes. I've seen the second personally but the guy was young and really cute and the stripper probably would have gone home with him that night if he asked.

@mjx01 I agree completely. If you own the company you can get away with it and it's a legal business expense. As an employee I'm not going to try to expense a strip club visit. No way!!
