    i love sex
@ Corvus: I recall seeing an old movie (can't recall the title), that was set in the early 1900's. $2. *was* the standard amount one expected to pay a hooker for sex. The scene I recall is a bunch of johns standing in line waiting for a certain hooker. The madam comes up to one of them and he says, "I got my two dollars."

TT: I'm with you. Especially not even using a club's ATM. I always know where my own bank's ATM is nearest the strip clubs I go to regularly. I find it refreshing to take a break anyway from the club to go out to use my bank's ATM. At the Deja Vu clubs (lots here), they have an "in and out" policy, so that's no problem. At the clubs that don't, I just tell the door man that I want to run a quick errand, and I'll be back in ten minutes. That usually does the trick.

Canny and Slick, I've seen that happen before. Except maybe it was three weeks after birth in this case. The dancer made an amazing comeback. I think she was about 22 at the time.

Jester, It's a three-hour drive between Seattle and Portland, but only a little more than an hour flight to Las Vegas! I've done both several times.

I live in Washington state. There's only 14 clubs here statewide. And nine of those are Deja Vu clubs. Proportionately, New Hampshire's probably only a little worse than Washington.

Yes. I've come across a Facebook page for an organization that sends young, pretty women into strip clubs so they can talk to the dancers in hopes of getting them to quit the profession. They bring small gifts for them as well. I'll look for it and try to post it.

    Forbidden Fruit
In a city of Industry club, several years ago, I had a favorite dancer and we together, had a favorite waitress. The waitresses at that club were told to come to work in particular clothes, a white blouse or top, and a black skirt. Our waitress went one step further. She wore a black bra under her thin white top. (With that effect, she might as well not have worn the top.) She was quite boobulous. Although waitresses don't have the required dancer's license to give lap dances, we decided that at the right moment, the waitress would give my dancer and I a topless lap dance. But we had to be sure it was when the owner wasn't around. We waited three consecutive weekends (when my dancer worked) to do this. But, it never happened. The club closed suddenly, without notice to anyone (typical). I was able to keep in touch with my dancer, but neither of us ever saw that waitress again.

I'd say more than 30 days is too late. Did anyone flag this review? (I'm only a standard member at the moment, so I can't flag it.) The club could have even changed names, and had three turnovers of dancers in six years. Maybe the first sentence was meant to read, "I *first* went to this club six years ago . . ." followed by details that bring it up to date.

Slick, I can no longer recall its name, but it was located where the VIP Showgirls club is in North Hollywood. The studio space and adjoining lease space were acquired when it was taken over by VIP. I forgot about the Paris House. I was there also, but that was in the mid 1970's. I did have a similar experience (no jerking off required), but they probably only charged $20-$25 admission, so that wasn't a huge disappointment. But, I recall that I left before my allotted time was up. It was really boring! I'll PM you on some related details.

Only once have a tried a "lingerie modeling studio." That was around 2004. Since I had never been, I asked very carefully what the procedure was. I was told the admission charge was $40., and that I should pay the dancer an additional $40. for a good time. This was for a specified amount of time. Maybe it was 15 min. So, now I've paid $80. and all I got was an across-the-room air dance. She stood in one corner, and I was diagonally opposite. We were about ten feet apart. On top of that, I was asked to jerk off. (I sense that was to "prove" I wasn't a cop.) Fortunately, that location later became a conventional strip club.

    Female Customers Dancing ?
    1. I wonder about the customers dancing nude part is true? If dancers are required to have a business license in that city or state, only then are they allowed to go nude. In clubs where business licenses are required, when an amateur night is held, the contestants are normally told not to show anything that a bikini would cover up, because they don't have a license to dance nude, or topless. 2. It would be nice to see that couple participate in the discussions. So far they have no comments or threads. The best-known couples customer I recall on TUSCl is "m00tpoint." They're from the Chicago area, but they haven't even looked at TUSCL in a few months. For their profile, see: https://www.tuscl.net/u.php?UID=232689

I wanna open a [strip] club!
Whenever this type of situation comes up, I usually recommend two things. 1. Instead of going right out and buy a strip club, or start a new one, get a job in one, so you can observe the business, learn from it, and then make an intelligent decision as to whether or not that's something you could handle. At this point in your life, it's likely you don't have the financial resources to fund a strip club business. 2. If you really feel the need to start your own business, begin with something much smaller. A strip club is not a "starter business." Note Sharkhunter's comments carefully. Begin with something very small, and maybe work your way up to a strip club.

    <b>Holiday decorations
For an excellent dissertation about the effectiveness of holiday decorations in strip clubs, I recommend reading the Strip Club Hound's article posted Saturday, October 26, 2013. Although the article is entitled, "Halloween," the logic applies to all holidays where decorations are used. See: http://stripclubhound.blogspot.com/

    Nina from Stripperweb and TwoSheds
I've said this before when this subject comes up: I sense that most dancers just aren't interested in participating, because they don't want to spend their leisure time discussing their work. They'd rather tend to their home life with the families, hobbies, and interests there. Among the TUSCL membership, who of you spends lots of time on the internet discussing your job and the industry you work in, among your colleagues and clients?

Keep it in my pants when I do OTC. If I were a stripper it would stand for I like big bucks and I can not lie.
So really, how long is it?
I won't post mine, but I have forty. A lot have been added in the past few months. At a quick glance, I think most of mine are on your list. But you have still more than I do. I've found that it's a good practice to review the ignore list about every six months. If a so-distinguished member hasn't posted in a few months, they're probably gone, and its safe to remove them. Thus, keeping the list shorter.

    A girl I know that I didn't know was a stripper
@ gawker: I have almost the same story to tell. Except in my story, it was the dancer couldn't leave fast enough. When she noticed a former high school French teacher in the audience, he came up to her on stage and said he'd like to get some lap dances from her after she was off stage. She scampered to the dressing room afterward, and was able to leave the building through a back door.

    Is today rent day?
I'm leery of club-going on or near Halloween. One year at the Spearmint Rhino in very nice Van Nuys, California, a lot of dancers were in costume even the night before Halloween when I went. I had my eye on a girl in a very pretty costume a couple of tables away from mine. She was sitting with a guy at that table. I kept eyeing her, in hopes she'd come over to me to ask me for dances. Finally, I went over to her to compliment her on her costume, and said, "When you're available, I'd like some dances with you." She replied, "Oh, I'm not a dancer." That must have been her boyfriend at the table with her. They both lightly chuckled, and I sheepishly retreated to my seat.

My Seattle favorite weatherwoman left a year ago, but no one has replaced her in my heart: Rebecca Stephenson, KIRO-TV (CBS), Seattle 2008-12. She was on KING-TV and Northwest Cable News here before that (2001-08). See photos of her at: https://www.facebook.com/rebecca.weather/photos Slick, all three that you mentioned all arrived in L.A. after I left (2006). Had I known they were coming, I might have stayed.
