For an excellent dissertation about the effectiveness of holiday decorations in strip clubs, I recommend reading the Strip Club Hound's article posted Saturday, October 26, 2013. Although the article is entitled, "Halloween," the logic applies to all holidays where decorations are used. See: stripclubhound.blogspot.com
