    Different Languages - Different Personalities?
I'm with jester on this one. I sense that if one were equally fluent in two languages, your personality would come across the same in either language. When you have a first and second language, the second takes more concentration just to convey basic sentences, and therefore detracts from your true personality.

    Top Cam Girls Income
Like others have stated, the superstars are a small percentage in any profession. Web camming must be the same. Like Slick mentioned, it's not for me either. I know of a few former strippers that are now web cam actresses. (One is featured among my profile pics.) When dancers tell me it's been a lot slower at their clubs in the past couple of years, I try to convince them that web camming has cut into their business. They seem to have trouble understanding that.

Idea for Turner Field in 2017!
Shadow, I'm fascinated by the Astrodome issue as well. Every other city, except Oakland, that had a combination baseball/football stadium, with a fixed dome or open, built since 1961 (RFK Stadium being the first), has since abandoned the stadium. Houston is the only city not to demolish there's (yet, anyway). Oakland is working on a stadium replacement plan. I sense there's some nostalgia in Houston since it was the first air conditioned domed stadium to host baseball and football, but its apparently not worth $217M in a bond issue to local voters, many of whom weren't even born in the early 1960's when the stadium was being conceived.

I think all the booths that Slick is referring to have been dead for sometime now. You probably don't have to worry about them anymore. Maybe a little more so if you're closer to Washington, DC.

Idea for Turner Field in 2017!
I rarely participate in off-topic discussions, but stadiums/stadia are a strong interests of mine: Maybe re-convert it back to it's original 1996 configuration for the Olympic Games, in hopes that within the next hundred years, Atlanta could host the Olympics again. If the Braves really move out of Turner Field it will have had the shortest lifespan (20 years) of any modern era baseball concrete and steel stadium. For those of you unfamiliar with the Braves recent announcement, see: http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/9959440/atlanta-braves-leaving-turner-field-relocating-cobb-county-2017?

    Fish Out Of Water
Slick, If you're certain that an art museum is the best type of museum, then the Villa should work. But, for a "starter museum" trip for someone like her, maybe the L.A. County Natural History Museum would be better. At least a newbie can relate to the dinosaur skeletons they have there. And there's a greater variety of things to view. At an art museum it's mostly paintings hanging on a wall and a few sculptures scattered around. The choices there would allow the opportunity that dallas702 mentioned, above. My only experience closely related to your real question was taking a dancer who worked at a high end strip club, to see what a low end club was like. She was both fascinated and appalled at what we observed.

I had a RELATIONSHIP with a STRIPPER (BIG MISTAKE)
UK, You're new to TUSCL. Welcome aboard. Your story is fairly common. Your relationship with her started out well, but in the end it caused you a lot of grief. Maybe the "moving in with her" part would have been better if you had assessed the situation for longer than you did. One part that you didn't mention that usually accompanies this type of story is if you spent a lot of money to help her with her problems. Did you? Otherwise it only caused you a lot of grief. Where I advise a lot of members in this situation is at the discovery of the drug problem. It's very likely that you'd have the ability or the patience to see her through that. I hope you left the relationship shortly after discovering the drug problem. (Another tip for you. Your story was probably long enough to submit as an article, rather than a discussion item. Had you done so, you could have received an extra thirty days membership, unless you're already a paid member.)

    Your chance to give advice
Farmerart would be a good source of info. for Toronto clubs. Unfortunately, he mentioned to me a few days ago, he'd have to be away from TUSCL availability for an unspecified period of time, to tend to his business. You might try to PM him. Maybe he'll be available and answer you before you plan to go.

    Awkward
Great story, George! As Alucard suggested, a simple Googling of the phone number, or entering it into Facebook, before calling it, could have saved you some grief. But, you'll remember that for a long time. Hope you're laughing about it by now!

Dancers demanding tips for doing nothing
@ GMD: I find it gets tiring to have to say no to a string of dancers. It's a lot easier to "just say no" to the club as a whole, and then go elsewhere.

Dancers demanding tips for doing nothing
Almost as bad as this are the clubs where dancers make a "tip trip" around the floor after their stage, in an attempt to extract a dollar from every single customer in the club. I recall San Diego clubs are like that. Others have commented that it's prevalent in other areas too. When I encounter a club that does that, I make an excuse to not tip the dancer, and then never go back to that club again.

    Strip Clubs Closing
Sinclair, Glad to see you back. Also, here in Seattle, some clubs closed over the past three years, but others opened to fill in the gap. I sense that for what little Seattle clubs offer, compared to other cities, that the remaining ones might do better if there were fewer. But, I it's likely there are fewer dancers, overall locally, than a few years ago. Closed clubs don't get deleted on TUSCL. They should still be there. Just type in the club name in the search bar, along with "(closed)" following it, and the club should appear, with all of its former reviews. This example should be for Honey's, in Everett, WA which closed in 2010: https://www.tuscl.net/stripclub.php?DID=3619

Take them to a porn shop. There's one near me that buys old mags and DVDs. Maybe there's one near you. You might only get a buck per title, but it's something, and it's legitimate "recycling."

    Old Porn
@DandyDan: I have the same type of collection you do, and I have a porn shop near me. But, I might use the store sell them the box of old '60's through '90's porn mags that I still have. The box is buried in my garage; I never look at it anymore. I'll sift through it first to separate the old Playboys. There may be some better money for the in-demand issues (if I have any of those). @grand 1511: I liked Christy Canyon too. For more of her see: 1. http://www.boobpedia.com/boobs/Christy_Canyon (links to her work) 2. http://www.bigtits.com/search?q=Christy+Canyon&x=10&y=4 (28 videos) 3. www.bing.com/videos Enter "Christy Canyon."

    i love sex
@ Electronman: Not exactly, but I do think about strip clubs when I get singles in change. I decide whether or not to set them aside for my next strip club outing. Now you've got me thinking even further--which of my favorite dancers' cleavage would I like them placed among!

Art, Great story! U.S. currency has had a two-dollar bill for a long time, but they are rare in common transactions. According to Wikipedia, they were in circulation 1862-1966 and again since 1976. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S._two-dollar_bill (click on the bill photos to enlarge them) In my lifetime I've hoarded a few of them. I recall they were mainly used at race tracks, because a two-dollar bet was common. Other TUSCL club-goers have stated they're used in strip clubs. That's not likely on the west coast.

    New Hampshire
It's really "Hampshire." Look up Hampshire, UK on any on line mapping site of your choice. It's just north of Southampton, England. I sense that's the Hampshire that New Hampshire was named for.
