As an American-Descended-From-People-Originally-From-Spain-Who-Settled-in-The-New-World ;) , the general deal with Hispanic/Latino is that "Hispanic" is a category used by the Census, "Latino" is a term that was adopted among the various ethnic/national groups themselves. Most of us use Latino when communicating among ourselves but on the one hand for many it's no big deal if Hispanic is used in communication across different cultures, while on the other, for many others Hispanic is the word used in a police report or in a government statistic, Latino is the one used in the community's literature and academia. George Lopez once said in his stand-up: "There's a difference between Hispanics and Latinos. Latinos have jobs."
In either case it's preferrable to misidentifying a Cuban vs a Mexican vs a Puerto Rican vs. whatever, THAT raises hackles.
Re: natural born citizens, another point when the nation was being founded, they wanted to prevent some European from carpetbagging. The requirement is that the person be natural-born citzen, or have been a citizen at the time of founding, and have resided for 14 years -- which the last two combined would have meant the first eligibles in 1789 would have to have resided through the entire Revolution.

BTW, shaylinn, chessmaster: According to the DHHS statistics (2013 are the ones I came up with), teen pregnancy has been going down -SINCE 1992- Even if the girls did get bolder they are taking better care.

They ARE getting some heavy pushback from other "rights" organizations for it, though. Would have loved to be a fly on the wall during some of the meetings. AI's position is that decriminalization is necessary to -protect- the sex workers, so they can report crimes against themselves and call on the authorities for protection, and to be able to focus police effort against real trafficking.

In a brilliant place!
What they said - read the reviews, seek to drive to the outer clubs for decent value-per-dollar, and in the Quarter itself Penthouse is the top place for dancer and site quality. Or else trawl the bars as suggested.
Mind you, at the Quarter a halfway decent lapdance will start at $40, anything less will be air; and it's strictly topless. Disregard the posterboard the hype person holds in front of Big Daddy's promising full nude live sex shows, who do they think they're fooling?
Rick's (the main club, not the sports saloon) styles itself a fancy GC but it has excessive fits of grandeur (a $60 single topless lapdance? Really??). The Deja-Flynt clubs are so-so nothing to write home about. Of the local chain that runs Scores/Temptations/Stilettos/Lipstixxx, the first two are mostly fit for human occupation and you may find good talent on a good night(*); this chain does employ more ladies who'll go the extra mile. The onetime "Urban" (i.e. Black) club in the Quarter, Little Darlings, alas was taken down in 2013 due to various and sundry violations, including that a majority of the talent -started- at the extra mile already and took it from there, plus in-club substance and firearms no-no's.
(*)Sun - Wed nights on non-festival dates are mostly stone dead in every venue.

Money no object? Cali Coast, or NYC
More realistic - Austin/San Antonio

Conversation can be a good prelude or intermission for the dances and if you can establish good communication with the dancer you can be more effective in negotiations; conversely on her side it helps her make a more effective sales pitch. "Wannadance, let's go" tends to leave me unmoved. A little bit of fun back-and-forth even during the dance can help get both parties loose. And sometimes you can even find out, for instance that she used to dance in a club in your town that's now closed, and you both compare notes about it (happened to me). Of course, if you're there with a targeted purpose that does not necessarily apply but if you're just playing it by ear, conversation/small talk is good to have.

What's left of "The Block" is a pretty pathetic shadow of its former glorious self anyway... pretty sad to revisit in the few years since I left B-more.
That it's around the corner from City Hall and the courthouse and just one more block over from police HQ has never seemed to stop anything, either.

It's well known that Greater Orlando is horrible stripclubwise. And Seminole County is itself very suburban even relative to Orlando.
SoFla, Tampa Bay/Pasco and Cocoa beckon for strip club fun.

The other day they had Carlos Santana (with Mrs. Santana on drums, quite good herself). Also a good performance (with a bit of more of a finishing flourish).
Considering the way some singers butcher it, we may want to keep the hard rockers on hand for other events. At least they can do good by a song about an artillery siege ;)

Ah, yes, you have mentioned it before, the clubs where DJs and dancers think they are at a regular party and the DJ is trying to get "discovered" by some visiting rap mogul.
But don't give it up! Some day I'll need to hire you as my guide to a SoFla Black Club tour...
Oh: ATACdawg, you do -not- hold the grenade for 5 whole seconds after popping the spring. The fuse varies depending on the factory batch. The number of thy count shall be three.

Hmm... selling you the record... that could be a business proposition. And she could then argue, it's not turning tricks, it's indie porn acting!

We had red light and speeding cams briefly but they got taken offline due to issues with the contractor and a myriad problems with implementation and rollout. The speed ones were particularly irksome in that in some locations there was little or no warning of the zone change. Much of the hardware and infrastructure was left in place so there is still the possibility of them coming back if the department can find someone who's got his shit together to install and run the system properly.

Yep, in 2009 a couple from "Real Housewives DC" crashed a WH dinner for the Indian Prime Minister. They argued they were invited and that the authorities were claiming they weren't to cover for how it was embarassing to have "Real Housewives" people at such an event (well... yes. It IS embarassing be associated in any way with "Real Housewives" but anyway...). Apparently it was a publicity stunt, expecting to get tape of being curtly turned back, but at some point some people at more than one control point began assuming that someone ELSE at the OTHER table must have given the go-ahead because "of course" nobody would have the yarbles to just try and crash the White House.
BTW, SecServ wouldn't be the only ones dealing with gyrodude unless he went down in the grounds, the Restricted Flight Zone is a joint op with the regular military and police. And to be fair, he WAS flying slowly at treetop level, he'd be lost in the noise unless someone were specifically looking for him.

¡Coño! No más Don Francisco, nor El Chacal's trumpet? That's going to really mess up the Saturday evening plans of millions, isn't it. But 53 years is a great run, and it reflects the change in the demographics -- younger latinos with higher spending power are no longer into this sort of programming, so not much of a point for the network to keep it going.

Hmm, let's see... Not as many places as I'd have liked to, but a few of these just provide so wide a variety of venues in a single region.
USA:
Nevada
Louisiana
Maryland
NY (NYC)
California, both N and S (different enough to count as 2 to me)
Florida, both SoFla and Gulf Fla (ditto)
Oklahoma
DC
abroad: Paris, France
(SoFla visits outnumber all others combined - travel both personal and work just takes me through there that often!)

If she's at least above the median and the mood is positive, I certainly welcome the "handshake" as a part of the sales pitch. Of course if she is the type to pique my interest I'll test her back by reaching to do some laying on of hands myself during the introductory conversation. If she is cool with the mutual contact at the earliest phase of the interaction, then we're talking.

Another vote for the PCH, and the Blue Ridge.
Dougster: the road around the west shore of Tahoe is California Rt. 89, and yes it is mighty fine (I circled the lake down US50 on the East and up CA89 on the West); and what a coincidence to read your post about the road down from Coeur d'Alene, I once found myself on it entirely by happenstance and was quite pleased.

I've been to clubs where the "official" price of the $20-30 lapper is seen as a laughable suggestion by many dancers. You are sort of forced to call them on it.

I, too, enjoy the stage; however there are different situations with clubs, in some of the larger clubs the dancer has to rotate through more than one stage/room before she's free to roam the floor. I do agree that if the dancer is off to any sort of off-floor room she should be skipped in the stage call until she's done.
