Do cameras really make a difference?

I don't know how many times I've heard a dancer tell me that she can't do anything extra because there are cameras in the VIP, when others go to town on me in the same club. Many times I'm looking right at the camera. Now, I know, some dancers don't want to do anything extra and use the cameras as an excuse, and I do know a club where the owner reviews each and every private dance to make sure that nothing is going on. And I do know a couple of clubs where there are cameras, but the coverage isn't that well and the girls know where the blind spots are. My question is (and I know it varies for club to club), in your opinions are the cams mostly used as a deterrent and to tell LEO things are being monitored?

Depends on the club. In my club management is pretty strict about extras, so the dancer has to know the angles. My ATF always uses the same CR and VIP rooms because she knows ho to position herself to provide the maximum mileage she's willing to do.

In other clubs where guys get BJ's or FS, I would think the cameras are more for a show for LE to "prove" they're monitoring the girls.

I'm not going to VIP if I know there's a camera there.

I've stared right into cameras many times and gave yet to see any repercussions. When I first started clubbing the cameras freaked me out, but a lot of the time I don't think that they are even turned on. Agree that some dancers use cameras as an excuse not to offer extras.

They make a difference for me. I have no desire to be exposed on the Internet, or end up in some over zealous cop's case file.

I'm on video somewhere dozens of times in various ITC sex acts. I don't even think about it anymore.

Impossible to say why/how most clubs use cameras cause there are so many variables. I've seen it all over the map.

Oh, I know the answer usually about the cameras, and it's funny how many don't actually even work. There was one club I use to go to that the camera did work in the VIP, but almost every dancer would hank their bra on it to cover it up, as a reg of mine once told me they were there more to protect the dancers if they didn't know the guy, but if they knew you they just covered it up, out of sight out of mind. Anouther place I used to go to years ago actually had a switch on the outside of the rooms and the girls could turn them on and off at will, I assume same reason.

A guy had two P-51's at an airport I used to train at.When he started those son-of-a-bitches up they would rattle the windows.

Think those are loud, fire up a big radial hanging off the front of a carrier based fighter and you will know noise. My father actually flew one durring Korea, an aircraft with no true equal. Best carrier based recip, ever.

I think one of the stupidest things a club owner can do is install cameras in his "Private or semi private" dance rooms. Extras are good for business but if he has them installed, he cannot defend himself that he didn't know what was going on back there.

They matter to me. I generally try to avoid VIP rooms with cameras, for many of the reasons already covered here. Unfortunately, the existence of cameras in back rooms is not always well covered by the club reviews on here, so every once in a while I will do my research and still find myself going into a VIP room that has a camera.

I know where I live a lot of the clubs a few years back were catching a lot of heat from LEO and the distric attorney's office about prostitution in the clubs and that was when most of them installed the cameras. I think it's more of a way of appearing the powers that be so they can say to the public that there are cameras to monitor the situation than to actually stop it from happening. Most of the clubs right after it all happened were very strict, most (but not all) have backed off somewhat since then. The problem around here is that every time a DA is due for reelection, there is a big push to bust strip clubs instead of doing their jobs and going after real criminals. If you are local you know that north eastern Pennsylvania has made national news about all the corruption between judges, county commissioners, district attorneys, etc. Until these problems are taken care of, those that wheeled the power will be going after the "low hanging fruit".

You can always tell a Corsair by the bent wing design. It's an easy one for most people to recognize because it's the Baa Baa Black Sheep plane. Gotta love the beauty of that plane but I'm partial to any radial engine WWII plane. One of the dumbest designs for a carrier based aircraft though.

I can only assume there are cameras installed where we go. Never seen any in the back but then the upper areas of the walls and ceiling are all painted black and the lights are pretty low. I have specifically looked around and there are no monitors with camera footage around the DJ area, bar area or back desk area in the LD room. They'd have to be up front in the main office I guess. Need to chat up some of the dancers to find out.

I have never noticed cameras in the VIP room but I have never looked for them either and I have only done a few VIP trips to date. I usually spread my money getting regular dances with multiple dancers unless there is only 1 girl that interest me. Those times when the regular lap dances happen I'm the VIP rooms, I'm still not concerned about a camera.

I can understand if you pay $100+ for a VIP room why you want privacy but i personally don't care as I'm usually not looking for extras and try to keep my hands from roaming unless they encourage it.

Actually, incredible design. The air cooled radial engine is excellent for reliability as that you do not have to worry about loosing your coolant and I have actually seen photos of engines with cylinder "jugs" actually shot off the engine and the engine continues to run. The purpose of the bent "gull" wings is to provide additional room for the 9' propeller. There were issues early on with the landing gears struts having too much rebound making for aircraft bouncing on landing which is not good for carrier operations, but by late 1944 those issues were resolved. The only real problem that was never really resolved was that since the pilot sat so far back the long nose blocked the view forward on landings, but most pilots learned to not come in strait but be in a slight turn throughout the landing process and watch the landing master on the deck for directions. My pap was actually a marine (semper fi) in Korea and when he was flying F4U's usually (but not always) flew from land bases. It was only later when they snitched them to F9F Panthers did he mainly switch over to carrier operations.

Problem solved.....anything that you want done to you by a stripper try to get out on the floor, and if that's not enough then try OTC.

Depends on the club. I have it on good authority at my main club they don't save any video, they only livestream. Half the purpose of it is protecting the dancers. No one reviews the video, and storing all that data would be a giant hassle. It's the same reason in the VHS era most security camera tapes were recorded over.

A dancer explained as she was blowing me yesterday that the club had installed a camera in the VIP room "just for the race" (I'll let you guess the city), so she had to be careful. She wasn't *that* careful -- I didn't see the camera, but if anyone had cared, it would have been obvious what was going on regardless of where the camera was located.

Impala, yes the plane was a great plane. My comment about being a dumb design for carrier landings was specifically about the pilot sitting so far back and not being able to clearly see forward and having to basically land on a moving platform sideways.

I would think most of the time if a club has cameras it is too stop extras.

I would imagine there are other reasons such as to deal w/ local ordinances or w/e – or they may use them strictly in case a custy does not want to pay up for services rendered and they can confront him w/ the video evidence of him spending time in VIP.
Papi_Chulo

But yeah – if several dancers do extras (not just one “don't give a fuck” type) then the non-extras girls will use it as an excuse.
impala

Its the non extras girls that use it as an excuse that irritate me. If you don't want to give a BJ then say so, don't lie about it. But, I know, they think that if they blame it on the cameras you might still get a dance with them, just not with the service your looking for. had one a few years ago at my former regular haunt, the night before the dancer who blew me showed me how the cameras were not even hooked up. The next night the dancer who I was trying to get some action with went on and on about how the club watches and records everything, about how this dancer was fired for doing this or that customer was banned for trying that. after her rant she said we can still go in the back and have some fun, she would make it worth my while, just not that kinda fun. I just said no thanks, and the very next dancer to come around blew me,.

Go to The Men's Club in Raleigh and when you walk into the dance area there is a pervert sitting in from of a monitor watching the action. He is also the one that takes your money. Never felt comfortable with the situation.

I think they should sell you a copy of your video so you can relive your conquest and show it to all your buddies. Works for big roller coasters at Six Flags and Disney!

Hmm... selling you the record... that could be a business proposition. And she could then argue, it's not turning tricks, it's indie porn acting!

In one of my regular clubs, yes, it makes a huge difference for the worse, but in my favorite club, they are more or less for show. I have heard stories of them using the cameras against certain dancers that they probably wanted to eliminate, which is one reason they have dropped off lately.

Impala at club cabaret in Peoria I think the cameras are "lip-service" to the idea that dances are being monitored for prostituotion.

The main reason it seems is to generate dancer fines for the club. Its a real moneymaker for the club and catch-22 for the girls.

gmd: "I have no desire to be exposed on the Internet, or end up in some over zealous cop's case file. "

I certainly feel the same way. That said, to my knowledge, in the entire history of strip clubs in this country, this has happened exactly zero times. Not that that's any consolation if, the first time it happens, it happens to you, but as of right now, your drive home is a far more risky proposition as far as life and liberty go. In addition, most VIP rooms I've been in are pretty dark, so at best, grainy videos (if night vision, then nearly-unrecognizable washed out features).

Not that I want any of that to happen, just keeping things in perspective a bit. Of course, theoretically, these strip club owners are not computer security wizards, so the notion of some hacker getting onto their network and picking up the feeds is, I suppose, not a completely ridiculous idea.

Impala: How sure are you that plane is F4U Corsair ? If it has a 3-bladed prop, it could well be a Goodyear built FG1D Corsair, the most prevalent type of the remaining Corsairs still flyable today. If plane has a 4-bladed prop, it would be a F4U-4 or later version, which were Vought produced until 1952.
The Corsair is a beautiful sight to see at airshows, with the oil cooler doors making that distinct whistling sound that partly accounted for its nickname the Whistling Death.

I agree with Subraman. I see the camera images all the time and you might be able to discern a BJ or fucking, but they are so grainy you'd be hard pressed to recognize a face. If fear of cameras keeps you out of VIP, you have bigger problems than ending up being a feature on TMZ (unless you're famous I suppose).

Love your new avatar, impala! I think the Corsair was one of the prettiest prop aircraft ever built. My Dad, who flew the TBM Avenger (Built by GM but designed by Grumman as the TBF) said that the Navy recruiting poster that featured the Corsair sold more guys on Naval aviation than any other). My Dad flew in VT 153 and didn't actually make it into combat before the war ended. He flew with one George H W Bush (I have his squadron picture). The Corsair, because of its l-o-n-g snout was known as the Hose Nose and the Ensign Eliminator because of its visibility issues. It was so long because of the fuel tank located between the pilot and the engine. The F4U had a 10-1 kill ratio (losses were from all causes) compared to 19-1 for the Hellcat. The Hellcat's numbers were inflated during the period when the Japanese were running out of experienced pilots.

During Korea he flew the Martin Mauler. This plane was in competition with the Skyraider to be the premier attack aircraft and actually could outperform it. In fact, it could even outperform a Mustang in a dogfight! It lost out because of its massive weight that made it a marginal trap and very hard on carrier decks. I have a picture of a Mauler loaded up with three 2000 bombs, twelve 5" rockets and 4 20mm cannons! During that period one of his wing commanders was David McCampbell, the Navy's ace of aces in WW2.

My second favorite piece of memorabilia is a photo of a Zero nose to nose with a Hellcat and autographed by Saburo Sakai (the highest scoring Japanese ace that survived the war) and David McCambell.

I've heard a lot of stories of custies who try to ignore it when they hear "no" during a lap dance. The dancer needs some kind of way of sending a panic signal to security.

Cameras make a big difference. I feel like I'm walking on a tightrope with no net underneath trying to keep both management and customers happy. I'm a little paranoid to begin with, so a camera in an LD room just makes it worse. I definitely agree with the guy that says that cameras are used against the girls whom management wants to get rid of. Some girls definitely get away with more than others. I wonder if Rickiboy could invent a system for dancers to deal with cameras. I'm sure it would involve a lot of "greasing" and would be just brilliant;)

At one club in my area they have an hour room with no cameras. One dancer told me she went in there with a guy who had not said anything about what he expected. The minute the door closed, he pulled out his dick with one hand, and grabbed her head by the hair with the other. After a long struggle, she got free and ran out. The only plus side was the club rule of no refunds after 5 minutes. And it took her more than that long to escape.
