They ARE getting some heavy pushback from other "rights" organizations for it, though. Would have loved to be a fly on the wall during some of the meetings. AI's position is that decriminalization is necessary to -protect- the sex workers, so they can report crimes against themselves and call on the authorities for protection, and to be able to focus police effort against real trafficking.

I did like that they said consensual sex work. Once that ball gets rolling, maybe the police will pay more attention to real crimes rather than wasting resources criminalizing consenting adults.

@PhantomGeek: As far as LEO is concerned, there are no "wasted" resources. They deserve every penny you pay them through taxation, and more besides. Because every time a new law is passed, they gain more control.
