You can get tired of naked women if there's no variety and/or originality. Usually if I take a break for a while, by the time I go back, there's been enough turnover to fix this. Though sometimes a club gets stuck in a rut and keeps hiring the same body-type over and over and over and over and over and over and over and ....
If you ever get tired of sex, cut it off.

You can't have some arbitrary ruling as to who should and who shouldn't. It's not fair, even to the "viewers".
Guy A likes itty bitty titties. Guy B doesn't like anything under a DDD. Guy C gets wood every time Krusty the Klown's superfluous third nipple appears on the screen.
And to make this more SC-related, guy A would be very happy at most Atlanta clubs these days.

See, that's part of what I mean. There aren't even that many dancers anymore that I'm willing to drag my ass over to the stage to tip. When I can tell from across the room that you have no personality, that's pathetic.

Hell, I even avoid the overly-drunk dancers unless I know them well and know that they can hold their alcohol. C's short-term memory goes to hell when she's drunk, but otherwise she's a lot of fun.
A's an aggressive bitch when she's drunk. Rugby players get treated more gently than her customers.
L passed out on me in VIP. Thankfully, I hadn't paid her already.

I only tipped a bouncer once. He wound up being a bigger asshole about policing VIP than anyone I've ever seen before. YMMV. That's my story, and I've never done VIP at that club again.

Varies wildly and by a number of factors. I'll save money for LDs and VIP if i think there's a decent chance of it (and obviously, I'm stingier if I sense a VIP coming).
If I know that I won't do VIP - then I might be looser with my stage spending. There's one club at which there are only 2 interesting dancers, ever -- J and P. P and I never do VIP (mutual understanding). One night, J wasn't there, so it was P or nothing -- which was fine -- VIP or not, she's a lot of fun. Her LDs during slow songs are heart-stopping (since all the blood is elsewhere); on other music, they're good, but not great. And this club doesn't play much slow music. So given the time, I knew I wasn't getting more than 2 LDs *and* there were a lot of dancers that night, so it was probable she was only going to be on stage once more (I arrived 90 minutes before closing). So the one time she was on stage, I was stuffing $5 bills in her garter like there was no tomorrow.
I've spent as little as $0 and as much as $75 or so. No idea what the average is. My only rule of thumb is never less than $2 at a time. If a dancer is only worth $1 at a time, she isn't even worth that.

It's cyclical and also varies by club. Right now there's one club where the average hotness has gone up and another where it's gone down.
Then again, a lot has to do with how you define hotness. My 9 may be your 2 and vice versa.

Stage is audition got LD and LD is audition for VIP.
Minimum 2 LD's. And that assumes that she hasn't already plugged VIP. If she has, she's gone. And if she starts plugging VIP *during* the LDs, she generally won't do til the 2nd song (after which she's gone -- i hate multi-tasking).

The one that I've gotten consistently is that I'm a gentleman. While it may be SS for some dancers, I get it too often for it to be SS for all. Plus I've heard one dancer say to another (on multiple occasions), "See, I told you he was a gentleman." And while these girls were nice, they weren't bright enough to do tag-team SS.
Once they find out that I'm not an asshole, then they like to hang with me. If it's a slow night (little reason to work the room), hanging with me is often seen as a better option than wasting time in the dressing room. Or even if it's not *that* slow, they come back to me any time the well runs dry. Sitting at a corner table, a beautiful stripper on each side of me -- that's as close as this nerdy white boy is ever gonna get to being a playa. ;-)
And on the less aesthetic end, it quite often results in better mileage -- one tends to receive better (and more) what one doesn't try to take first.

My ATATF (the one who retired at the ripe old age of 23) danced at Oasis. We've had to wait up to 45 minutes for a VIP room there. She usually hung out with me for 30-60 minutes anyway, so if she knew that there was a backup, she'd ask right away if I'm planning on VIP that night, and if so, she'd go ahead and get us on the list. I like to "warm up" before VIP with a couple table dances anyway, so we'd fit those in there somewhere, too.
But two hours? Fuhgedaboudit! Was that a Friday or Saturday night? I wouldn't go to Oasis on those nights on a bet. If I'm paying a cover charge, there'd better be a chair for my ass.

How do they know? Camera on the front door? And what if they turn away for 30 seconds?
Seems that it'd make more sense to at least make occasional rounds of the club to see if regulars are there, and maybe they spot an easy mark in the meantime.

I gotta say that I'm with "Amber" on this one.
Now, there are several dancers that will sit and talk with me for an hour for just one lousy dance when they could be hitting up others for a VIP for 15-25 times as much money. But that's because I made the initial investment with more dances from her in earlier visits. Then we talk, she discovers I'm not an asshole and can carry on a conversation, and so she's glad to see me even if I don't represent a lot of cash that night.
These dancers are at their job, and as stated, they're independent contractors, not employees. Go into any crowded store at the mall, find a salesgirl who you don't know, and try to get her to talk to you for 15 minutes about nothing in the store. When you're successful with that, then you can be pissed at Amber.

Never had any negative reactions to female patrons. A few minorly positive ones:
* Just like other dancers, female customers can get away with a lot more in plain view than male customers. So unless girl-on-girl action is a turn-off, that can be a nice little bonus.
* One female customer that I saw was leaning over the tip rail a lot. Her blouse was sleeveless with arm holes that went almost to her waist. All the leaning was showing off a lot, and she had the firmest breasts in the club.
* I've never seen a happy/party drunk guy that wasn't obnoxious. I've seen plenty of women that can be.
