Club too hot or too cold?

Assuming that the A/C or heater are working properly do you ever find that the temperature is too hot or too cold? That the club intentionally keeps them that way? I find the my favorite club is always too cold for me. I get the shivers. Especially wearing my usual nylon shorts. Of course the solution is to get lots of lap dances and maybe buy a lot of anti freeze from the bar.

Hell yeah Shadowcat, I'm always HOT at my favorite club. I've told the manager that if he wants me to keep spending these 20's, he better get that temperature down in the 70's, lol!

I've noticed the temperature seems to vary in strip clubs. I never sensed that it was intentional. Maybe kept too cold, so the dancers don't perspire? Can't imagine any reason for a club to keep temps. too hot (except to save on the eletric bill). At any rate, extreme temps. are likely to drive away customers and dancers alike.

I knew a club once, VIP Showgirls, North Hollywood, CA, that found itself with malfunctioning heat during the winter. The owner didn't get it fixed then, and continued to procrastinate through the spring and summer. It was still broken the following winter. Some use of space heaters helped, but the dancers wore coats while on the floor. They'd take them off on stage (of course) and while giving dances. I'm surprised the place stayed in business during that time.

Rick's and Sugar's in Seattle used to keep the temperature very cold. Several dancers I knew were totally convinced that they did it so that the girls' nipples would always be stiff.

Until a couple of years ago, Houston clubs were so very frigid cold that I used to take a thick winter coat, no matter the time of year. I felt bad for some dancers, wearing only flimsy lingerie, and the temp was in the 50's. I think the recession made the clubs set their thermostats at more reasonable levels.

I like it slightly warmer mostly because of comfort, partcilularly if I go in shorts. Plus, the dancers are generally warmer to the touch and not clammy. A little A/C is fine provided it's not cold enough to hang meat and entice Rocky Balboa to make an appearance.

During summers in the southeastern US, when the temperatures are routinely around 100F in the afternoon and the humidity is high, walking into an overconditioned SC is like walking into a freezer. And during the afternoon, making the transition from hellish sun to dark SC can be disorienting. It takes a few minutes, but I get used to it.

It's like stepping into a different world. Not that that is a bad thing.

Shadowcat, remember last year when the AC was fucked up at Columbia PP. It was one of the few times, the dancers weren't complaining how cold they were. I'm used to listening to the dancers complain about freezing their tits off, while I'm comfortably cool. Of course, I'm like a racing engine with body temp so AC really has to be cranked up big time. I'd like to think the clubs are trying to keep the place comfortable, but who knows who is controlling the thermostat.

Since I'm usually suited up, I prefer it to be a little cooler. Plus warming up the goosebumps on a dancer can be fun.

The ones I go to tend to be cool. Like the perky nipples but can be kind of rough on us thinly dressed customers. Massaging the goosebumps on a dancer is definitely fun and earns some points.

This past Saturday I stopped by a fave club that is usually very climate friendly. I walked in and it had to be a sweltering 90 F in there! The dancers were loving it, of course, since they usually complain about it being too cold, and they are mostly naked, after all. I had just come from work (where it can sometimes be frigid cold) so I was wearing a heavy sweater. I was miserable. I wish I had remembered to toss a t-shirt in the trunk of my car like I had meant to do.

Ah - ya can't win.

yeah it pisses me off when they have a mandatory coat check but the inside of the club is freezing cold during the winter times because the door to the smoker's patio is constantly opening and closing.

Yes Vince, I remember. It was one of those times that I think I was responsible for their nipple erections.

That's odd. Usually it's the strippers that talk about being too cold inside the club.

Seems most times clubs are kept cool. I recall dancers often saying they are cold. Maybe just a hint that I should help warm them.

@Clubber- Yesterday my favorite said the same thing. I told her she should come closer and of course she was in my arms for quite a while and I got to "warm her up." I don't mind the temperature. ;)

When I worked in a club, we kept it on the cool side. If anyone complained, the owner told us to tell the complainer we would fix it for them (but not to actually do anything).

I know some of the harder working girls get sweaty even in a cold club...I just don't find it that comfortable to shivering while trying to watch naked women...doesn't help if the cold causes shrinkage either!

Clubs always seem to be on the colder side. I've alwawys thought it is the same priciple behind casinos being so cold. Studies have shown that people gamble more when the temp inside is lower. I'm assuming strip club owners are just following that line of thinking.

When I walked into the club last week, I asked the dancers if it was really hot in there. They said no, it was just me. :-)

Clubs do seem to keep the place cool to promote erect nipples and keep the dancers from sweating like pigs on stage. I offer to warm the dancers using friction in VIP.

most SC are way too cold!! stopped going to the PP in Greenville because the combination of extremely loud music and very cold temps made it a pain in the ass place to be !!

All the clubs I've been to have been cool, usually a little below room temp.

I always just assume it's for the dancers' comfort while they're on stage but it still doesn't keep some of them from sweating.

I'd rather have a cool dancer I have to warm up than a sweaty one who's damp.

If I were naked too then the dampness wouldn't bother me and even be hot but on my clothes it just feels uncomfortable.

Definitely agree on this. Many clubs are way to cold with the AC cranked up too high. They need to find a middle ground. Clubs that are hurting from the bad economy tend to scimp on both heat and AC so they are often uncomfortable in all seasons. Upscale clubs that don't worry about paying bills are bear the most guilt about running the chillers too much, thinking the dancers want it cooler and the men want it that way too. They should take surveys and be more customer friendly.

Another thought, ever notice that many of the bouncers at clubs are big, sometimes overweight types. The metabolism of those guys might be another reason for some of the cooler temps inside.

Dayton clubs seem to be freezing cold during the spring and summer. I hate it, because I have to often wear a sweatshirt to keep warm or a jacket or something.

I look around and it seems to not bother any of the dancers. I imagine that it's because of dances, but even the ones who don't seem to be getting that many dances look fine. One girl said that I looked bored, because my hands were in my pockets and I said "I'm cold!" She said "it is really warm in here." I guess if you work in a freezer long enough, you get used to it, but man do I hate cold.

Luckily my favorite club serves coffee. During the winter, it feels perfect.

i've talked to several dancers that have told me that management often keeps club temps cooler so that their nipples stick out which leads to customers getting excited, sticking around, and spending more money.
