Two come to mind: one at Vegas Cabaret (Lauderhill), the other at Savannah's (Harrisburg). The VC dance was with this girl Paradise. She sat on my lap RCG and was on her phone the whole song. The Savannah's dance was with Gia, who's actually pretty popular for whatever reason. She said to sit down, put my arms on the armrests, and not to move. Savannah's is no-touch anyway, so I didn't get it...but I figured it was going to be one of those "she grinds all over me" dances. Not even close. I like moving along with the girls - basically dancing like at a regular club. Started doing that with her, got air for the rest of the song. Whenever she approaches me now, I look at her like she stole something...because she pretty much did.
Dishonorable mention goes to Leticia at Playhouse Lounge: we went to the room and she started out with all these rules. I thought she was using reverse psychology and her body is amazing, so I stuck it out. One song went by, the LD version of crickets. The reviews couldn't have been off, and she can't be this lame. Shame on me. I got up like the seat was burning when I heard "Leticia, 2". It took everything in me to give PH another chance, but I did last weekend. Twas much better.
As gentleman said, I'd take the OP's dance any day of the week. That's right up my alley.

In my experience, the clubs that are better on nightshift are usually the larger clubs - probably because they're built to handle larger numbers of dancers. The clubs that are better on dayshift seem to have more dedicated/regular dancers and customers. Dayshift can be 'live, but relaxed' (if that makes any sense). I wouldn't say it's dead, but going to Adult World at 2 PM is definitely different than going to Tootsies at 1 AM. It's not that there's no energy, the energy is just different. I don't think I've ever been the only customer anywhere for more than 10 minutes. Generally, I prefer dayshift because my nights are then free for me to do other things.

I've never been there, but I hear Fantasy's Island in Duncannon, PA is plain awful. I have never seen a review of that place that described it as better than average, and I've never seen a dancer even described as average. That's why it's the only club of the six in the Harrisburg area I haven't gone to.
Of clubs I have visited, Club 22 in Harrisburg is terrible with its Goodfellas (think Henry's house during the Christmas scene) setup and unattractive girls wanting to be tipped the price of the dance. No touching...as if...and no VIP. Best dance probably comes from the robot. It's the only club in the city that stays open past 2 and I still won't go back there.

Probably five years. I knew about extras, but was never really interested. It was kind-of cool to find a happy medium. Felt weird walking to the car with a wet spot, I'll say that much.

Assuming it's a club in which nearly everything goes, I would say D most of the time. Maybe E if I'm in that kind of mood (or if I'm at Follies...no one who goes to Follies regularly should be anywhere below E).

I go through this every so often, maybe once or twice a year...well, without the loneliness/sadness part: relating more to the "coming down off a high" part. It's usually after a particularly good visit, but it's somewhat random. Went to Follies three times in less than a week last month (I don't live in Atlanta), didn't get it. Went to Tootsies two consecutive nights in June, didn't get it. Went to Savannah's a couple weeks ago - a place I've talked really badly about on here - and I got it.
The problem comes when you keep chasing said high, especially if you can't find that high anywhere else. Some balance/diversity in how you get those highs would seem to be in order - especially if they come from places where attractive civilians can notice (and become attracted to) you.

I think it was flag who said if the goal is to LDK then most guys try to do so quickly so they can save money, and I have to agree. If I really like dances with a girl and want to get a lot of them, that's an entirely different process than if I want to LDK.

As a couple posters said above, there are some places where it makes total sense. In the Duncannon (right outside of Harrisburg) clubs, the VIP price is much lower than the per-song rate. You can get 45 minutes for $80 at one club, or an hour for $100 at another. Even if you throw in a tip, you're likely coming out at about $10 a song rather than the $20 for a single.
The trick is finding a girl who's worth it, but that's a separate matter - then again, there will likely only be 1-2 real options out there anyway.
If a club offers extras, then there's almost no point. I'll admit I've somewhat thought about VIP at Tootsies if I could get dances for an hour, but the LD rooms give girls more incentive to work hard since one can stop dances at any point.

I go to the biggest club possible for two reasons: 1) more dancing options, and 2) I have more room to move around. Of course, in South Florida that adds up to one place - Tootsies. With prices being pretty much the same in mixed clubs all over, I want my options...at Tootsies I get them. It also helps that Tootsies has the sports bar and such.
In Atlanta, there's also only one option...but it's for a different reason. There's just no experience in the A - or anywhere else - like the one at Follies, even with the downturn.
If South Florida had one club that was head and shoulders above the rest, like a Follies, I would go there. The experience (which mainly means mileage and/or dancing fun) comes first, with options being second. You couldn't pay me to go to a DC area club that's not Ebony Inn. You would have to pay me to go to a NO club that isn't Passions. The experience at both is singular in their respective areas. Dallas; I'd probably rotate between Baby Dolls, La Zona Rosa (I love Latinas, sue me), and XTC. The experience is more similar between the three clubs (price, mileage, etc) IME, and my choice would probably depend on the dancer ethnicity I was seeking that night.

Age and race don't really matter to me: I'm more concerned that she has natural and proportionate curvature and a pretty face. I almost never get dancers from spinners. If she seems easy to talk to, that's a definite plus...not that I like to talk a lot, but at least let the option be there. I might look into someone else if I see she's getting a lot of attention.
Of course, if all else fails Papi's method works too.

I used to give two dances, regardless of price. I'm now in the 'one and done' camp. Maybe I'll give a girl two dances at a $10 club, but she has to A) look really good, or B) give me some reason to believe there will be improvement. It also depends on the spot: at clubs where girls are "really hands on", that's the treatment I expect. If a Follies girl doesn't stick shift during the first song, it's highly unlikely she'll get a second.

Depends on whether she knows and whether I think she wanted me to LDK. If she doesn't know, I don't say anything and just ride it out until the end of the song. If she knows and doesn't say anything about wanting me to LDK or being cool with it, I do the same. If she knows and is cool. then I'll give her a hug and say I enjoyed the dance.

I think 25 has the right idea with the number of reviews being the most important metric. The number of reviews, and the positivity therein, will likely have me give Playhouse Lounge another chance next time I'm in Philly even though my experience was subpar.
I have to laugh about the Savannah's mention in mjx01's comment, though. I can't imagine a time in which that place could be #1 in anything (and it's not the best club in HBG: Adult World is). To the larger point, I have a similar thought that clubs are compared to those within their areas. I think someone gave AW a 10-8-8 and I almost lost it. As mentioned above, I like AW...but there's no way anyone who's experienced clubs in various regions could ever consider AW a 10-8-8. I don't even consider my favorite clubs to be that good across the board.

Before all the ballers show up...most I've spent is around 800. That came a few weeks ago at Tootsies. My #2 night, around $560, was also at Tootsies. Biggest non-Tootsies night - well, day - was last Wednesday at Follies (funny thing is, I had much better times for less money when I went back on Monday and Tuesday).

Go to Ebony Inn. Don't even think about any other place. It's not the best neighborhood, but the club is in a fairly commercial strip. I've seen customers of all types during the day. EI should provide everything you're looking for.

Of the dancer numbers I've been given, none have come from a club in a place where I lived at the time. Conventional wisdom says numbers are for OTC and repeat/regular business, and I'm sure that's true even though it hasn't been that way for me. Actually, one number was specifically for OTC - she thought I'd be down, even after I said I wasn't. I tend to forget I have the numbers anyway, so there's no point in me having them.
