Some of us grumble about the music in clubs. I know Flag would really like some Lawrence Welk. But if you got to pick about a half hour of songs while you got dances, what would the playlist look like? Mine might be: Def Leppard - Pour Some Sugar on Me Santana - Smooth Audioslave - Show Me How to Live Prince - Let’s Go Crazy Red Hor Chili Peppers - Give it Away Led Zeppelin - Whole Lotta Love ZZ Top - Tush AC/DC You Shook Me All Night Long

I like Ishmael’s thinking and would add Iron Butterfly’s Ina Gadda da Vida. Grand 1511, I’ve seen Salome several times but never fully nude. I would not want to see most of those singers nude!

Just based on time...Dance of the Seven Veils would be a nice long song to get a lap dance to. And as classical music goes, it's quite erotic.

Basically any Miami bass song: I'm from South Florida, grew up during its heyday, and so many of the songs are about SC life anyway. Outside that... Photograph (Def Leppard) - heard it once at Baby Dolls and nearly lost my mind Moments in Love (Art of Noise) - it's 8-9 minutes, but only the first 4 really matter Would You Mind (Janet Jackson) Centipede (Rebbie Jackson) Sex Me remix (R Kelly) Come Into My Room (Mavado f/ Stacious) Flex (Mad Cobra) Cream (Prince) I'd play them in reverse order of the above listing.

My joking aside, this is a good thread. What race/age are you guys? I try to cater to what I see in the club. For example, on my last shift I saw mostly Mexicans. So I requested Enrique Iglesias to the DJ.

I love this collective, I think there's at least one song I like in most people's list. I'm definitely digging Prince's 'Lets go Crazy' and Red Hot Chili peppers's 'Give it away'. 'Are you gonna be my girl' by Jet I can get with. And 'Nasty Girl' by Vanity 6 will always be the quintessential strip club song for me, thanks to Beverly Hills Cop. I love 'My Sharona' by the Knack but never been in a club that would actually play it, or a lot of the songs I named above. All the clubs I go to seem like they just automically play some rap auto tune bullshit. Well, I won't call it all bullshit, some of it is catchy. I downloaded 'Bad and Boujee' by Migos featuring Lil Uzi Vert after hearing it in a club. Actually I was getting a dance to it and the girl gave such a great performance that it also gave me a good impression of the song. Whoever suggested 'Moments in Love' by Art of Noise is a genuis. Hella long track and whoever getting FS extras in the back just HAS to get a GFE to that. Speaking of extra long tracks, fuck it. Throw on some 'Green Grass and High Tides' by the Outlaws. Has no business being played in a strip club but it's almost ten minutes long and for the second guitar solo imagine the dancer trying to keep up with the pace of the song trying to give you a lap dance. She'd lose ten pounds and demand a $100 tip lol when it's all over lol. You want super long GFE? Let's play the long version of Prince's 'Scandalous' from the Batman soundtrack. 19 minutes long. I'll never forget when the DJ played this song at the end of a 9th grade school dance. SJG would have been proud of how many gymnasium make out sessions occurred simultaneously.

I will always have a special place in my heart for Du Hast, a song I like. Sitting in a club I hear a dancer announced, and hear Du Hast start and I look up. Standing on stage is my new ATF. The rest is history.

Got a DJ to play Panic by the Smiths once during a '80's themed request night..... I laughed my a$$ off through the whole song. Any and all most all "Lords of Acid" song is good in my book as well.

There was a club where before the DJ played music, the dancers would pick their songs from a digital jukebox. Sometimes when no girl was on stage, you could pick out the songs you wanted to play with the girl you were going to get dances with. I went straight to Guns and Roses. November Rain and Paradise City. Not bad for $50! Metallica has some long songs as well. And Led Zeppelin with Stairway and Kashmir. And Don McLean's American Pie and Lynyrd Skynyrd's Free Bird. That's way past 30 minutes though...
