Cute but no brains to speak of.... She might be fun for a night, but that's all she's good for.

That is some serious athletic ability...that which I most respect in a stripper. Cute girls are a dime a dozen, but truly great pole work is not done by too many of them. I agree with Clubber about the music, though. Also the broom at the beginning was distracting.

So much for the metal detectors keeping the customers safe....It's Chris Rock's maxim in action. "Don't go to parties with metal detectors. Sure it feels safe INside..."

Motorhead posted my first reaction. Do liquor licenses have to be renewed; I'm assuming that's the case. Someone forgot to deal with that?

About 6'1", but she had muscles. I like fit women, don't get me wrong, but when there is just a little too much on the arms & back...that brunette was on D-bol or something, I'm sure of it.

If she breaks your skin while sword-swallowing, you'd better hope you don't have a bonus show up later...

Rection spoke my reason for going avatarless. Besides all I'd put up is an illo, but this ain't the audience for it (we're here for flesh, not art).

Motorhead. The guy keeps it real & has a lightning wit. Also he doesn't seem to be as into ripping on others as some I've seen. Thus I nominate Motorhead for the Coolness Cup.

Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life
Used to go to the clubs to get some practice in, but these days I do that only when I'm bored. I've seen every move a stripper can make short of extras. "Surprise me, why don't you..."

I'm easy to spot: The only man in the whole place with a sketchpad, doing gesture studies, with a different stripper stopping by my table every 20 minutes & sitting on my lap to check out the art.

The only time you should loan money is if:
1) you work at a bank or credit union, or
2) you have big, physical guys working for you who know the finer points of using blackjacks & tasers. You should also know where she lives if you choose this option.

"I'm going to school to get my degree"

Yegi - I figure there is probability you are as you represent yourself. In which case I hope you appear in one of Austin's clubs some night when I'm out practicing. Admittedly that is unlikely, since I don't get to the clubs as often. (Let's see some new moves!)

All I will add to the above is if your taste is as advertised, don't bother with Babe's Showgirls: It's a Black club all the way. Mostly Black dancers & the DJ only plays rap/hip-hop. I.don't mind the former but if dusky princesses are not to your taste, don't go to Babe's. The Yellow Rose got new management a short while back, so there has been some improvement in dancer quality overall. LOTS of pole work the last time I went; you should find your Nordic athletes there.
If you go to the Rose & run into a dancer with two four-leaf clover tattoos (one in front of each hip), tell her I said hi.

And considering those 10-in.-tall shoes without heels, I'm not surprised. Gaga can play the piano but she has all the sense of a lobotomized Golden Retriever.

If she's religious, it's doubtful the marriage will succeed. (Given why we're all in TUSCL, I doubt there are any churchgoers in the audience)

Thus far I haven't taken the true PL plunge but in the last few days, I've met a couple dancers who I really would like to get to know better...& not just in the biblical sense. The risk of emotional attachment increases once you start to learn what's behind her facade, because there is always the possibility that you'll find a personality you like.
Duomaxwell's & Michellemarie's statements surprise me. I have rarely ever seen a dancer of whom I didn't have reason to expect the "you're just a wallet with a dick" attitude. I saw A LOT of that in Vegas. I don't blame them for it, though. Would expect the job itself to encourage that view of customers.

Club Onyx may be notorious but it's not the only one. There was at last one club shooting in Austin since I moved here. Seems to be something of a trend.
Confiscate all guns? That would be great--for me. I could rent a space in the industrial part of some other town, pick up a drill press & other machinery from pawn shops, CL, etc. Build a furnace or something for heat treatment, get steel from scrapyards, & then it's time to open for business. ',;-)

Lots of good advice in here. I second toysale's post; that would be the first rule. Leave the plastic at home. When I bring my debit card with me, as often as not I end up using their ATM--& I've neve seen one without an ass-reaming usage fee.

Bigotry? Perhaps, but I for one found the OP very funny. And those who criticize prejudice towards Muslims are generally right in that stereotyping an entire people is wrong, but what they don't realize is that religion is a cultural expression as much as anything else--& not all cultures nor all religions are equal.
Every religion has violence & oppression in its history, but Islam is the only religion wherein violence towards/oppression of nonbelievers is an explicit requirement within the doctrine.
This world is full of poor & oppressed peoples, but only the Palestinian people use their children as sacrificial weapons to eliminate innocent Israelis--not just soldiers, but as many civilians as they can find in one place.
Finally, in the lands that were Christendom, anti-Jewish prejudice has been repudiated by practically everybody. In Muslim countries, all the old stereotypes & slanders--i.e., the blood libel--are de rigeur.
So whenever anyone complains of bigotry against Muslims or "Islamophobia", I am not sympathetic.
