Well, the judge's name should give you a clue. It's not Alexander. Alexandra Smoots-Hogan is a feminist with a hyphenated name. I'd hate to be before her with a child support case.

Of course, being retired and having no car gives me a certain flexibility. I check the days and if I can't get a reasonable flight on SW, I take the bus. Southwest seems to be no worse than the others and seems friendlier.

I like to believe that strippers are all good girls who wear hearts of gold beneath their scanty raiment. And they are all working their way through college or graduate school while trying to support some wretch of a husband who doesn't appreciate them. That's why I fall in love with someone each time I enter a club.

At Club Wanda in Montreal a few years back the strippers were also waitresses and if they were sitting with you and you ordered a drink, they just got up and brought it. For decency's sake they wore high heels, but that was it.

There are the corporate clubs, Dreamgirls and Deja Vu right downtown by the Hiawatha trolley (sorry, light rail) line. Within walking distance are the Skyway lounge and Augie's, the closest to a girl next door bar west of Flint. Those are closest to the downtown hotels. Want a classier joint? Gotta hit the burbs.

Concepts of beauty have changed through the years. Back when mathematicians like Pythagoras and sculptors like Praxiteles were coming up with measurements and formula for beauty, they were based on Mediterranean-Aegean types. The rise of the Germanic people and languages
(Dutch,Danish,Norwegian,German and English) gave rise to the ideal of the blue-eyed blonde. Now, as more and more beautiful black women are in the public eye, we see cosmetic surgery enhancing the lips and butt more to the original African ideal. And if you like somebody, of course she is going to look better to you.

Last year I took a bus trip out west. We stopped to change buses in Billings, MT. The first sight that debarking passengers see in the terminal is a large room containing a pool table and a big sign saying: Passengers! No sleeping on pool table! All I wanted to know about the place in one sentence.
