    A great stage dance
I concur with Papi. In addition to showing her physical talents on stage, I like to assess a dancer's personality while she's on stage and what her level of interaction is with me. When I'm considering a first time dancer, I insist on seeing her on stage before getting a lap dance with her.

    Rain & Strip Clubs
@ Shadow. Just for you: 1. Man, newly arrived in Seattle, sees kid on bicycle riding in front of his house. It's rained every day since he moved to Seattle: Man: "Hey kid, does it always rain like this in Seattle?" Kid: "How would I know? I'm only six!" 2. Local resident on telephone with friend from Seattle visiting in another state: Friend: "Hey Joe, how's the weather in Seattle?" Local resident: "Usual here. About 45 degrees and not a sky in the cloud." 3. There's a picture postcard that shows photos of the four different seasons of the year in Seattle. But, they're all the same photo--of a gray sky.

    Rain & Strip Clubs
As for Seattle, I concur with Dougster: If I'd planned to go to a club, and it suddently turns out to be a sunny day, I'll change my plans and do something outdoors, instead. (On a sunny day, a walk around Green Lake, near three of Seattle's strip clubs will yield far more eye candy than in the three clubs, combined.) TT's description of our weather is very good. Except for July and August, it almost always looks like there's a threat of rain here. Even after it rains, it still looks like more could be on the way. Seattle's annual rainfall is about 39 inches. There are many more places in the U.S. that have more annual rainfall, but Seattle's is probably distributed more evenly througout the year. It has the greatest number of rainy days of any major U.S. city.

    Hot Tub Room
Although not *in* a strip club, but near a couple of them, here in Seattle there was a public hot tub place called, "Tubbs." Some dancers were known to hold OTC's there. The place was eventually closed down on prostitution charges.

    College Interns
I think of it a little differently. Late May and early June is graduation season. It seems as if strip club amateur contests have more recently graduated high school girls entering them during the summer, than other times of the year. If you don't like the selection of dancers at a particular club or in your area, always remember that there are girls turning 18 every day. They seem to "bloom" in the summertime.

I can't believe my good luck. I just got this email today.
Shadow: She indicated her name is Adriana. Did you ever know anyone by that name, and that would have your e-mail address? (Otherwise, certainly looks like a spam attempt to get you to open the link provided.)

    Strip Club City Guide
SEATTLE/PUGET SOUND REGION: Similar to Xedin's description of San Diego, but perhaps not as strict. Thirteen clubs in this area. Seven are Deja Vu-owned. All thirteen are nude clubs with no alocohol. Extras likely at only two clubs - Sands and Pandora's. Although I was told cameras were removed at all of the local Deja Vu clubs recently, if mileage improves, I sense it will take some time. All around, strip clubs are fairly tame here.

My only direct experience with a dancer/boyfriend break-up was a dancer who told me in no uncertain terms, that as long as she had a boyfriend, she wouldn't do OTC. I was lucky to catch her "between boyfriends" (for maybe two weeks), seized the opportunity, and got the lone OTC with her I had coveted for two years.

I have a few specific clubs in mind, but more so just some cities that members write a lot about, that I haven't clubbed in: Atlanta, Dallas, Detroit, and Miami. (I've done Las Vegas and city of Industry.)

What we really think about Farmerart!
All great thoughts and sentiments, above. I especially enjoy Art's eloquent writing style, and his vocabulary. I keep a dictionary next to my computer; when I see a post of his, before I click on it, I reach for my dictionary because I'll very likely need it. If I had to state one, single thought about him, it would be: He writes so well, that even when he has a *bad* experience, it makes for some very *good* reading for the rest of us!

    SAN DIEGO
In San Diego, Cheetah's is generally considered the best club for customers. I don't know about dancers. xedin5436 is our TUSCL San Diego connoiseur. His reviews are very detailed and worth reading. If he doesn't reply, I suggest you PM him: https://www.tuscl.net/u.php?UID=237502

Does Portland have the Highest Number of Strip Clubs per Capita?
    1. I'm glad to see that the survey used TUSCL for its directory of strip clubs. I do believe TUSCL's directory is the most accurate of any strip club web site I've ever seen. 2. Certainly Ranukam whill chime in on this, once he sees it. By my estimation, the thread was posted around 6:00 a.m. (PDT) 5/16/2013. Maybe Ranukam doesn't check TUSCL at that hour. 3. I've mentioned this before about Portland strip clubs: It is often cited as having the highest per capita of strip clubs in the U.S. However, in my experience trying to find a good one, one night before my TUSCL days, I encountered something unusual. A few (maybe several) that are listed in TUSCL are more of a divey restaurant/bar that have a small stage at one end with an occasional stripper appearing on it. Those seem like leftovers from a previous era. Perhaps Ranukam can break down the actual number of true strip clubs there.

    The New PL+ Strategy???
I've heard of the situation before, but not in a strip club. If a customer comes into a business, such as a restuarant, orders a meal and then has absolutely no means to pay for it, that that can be prosecuted as a crime, if it can be determined that the lack of payment was intentional. You could also piss off a bouncer to the point where you're made a paraplegic as in the case of the Crazy Horse Too in Las Vegas.

What cities is best for clubs with "extras"?
@ motor: I checked OP's "resume" first and noticed the same. @ Londonguy: When I lived in L.A., I had the impression that the strip clubs in Hollywood were tourist traps--to be avoided by serious club-goers. Similar to Glitter Gulch in Las Vegas.

    Word on the Web
Because TUSCL (Founder's) guidelines for submitting reviews discourages mentioning dancers' names, it's almost useless for dancers to try to research themselves on TUSCL. Other sites, possibly. There's one other site, that's well-known among dancers here in Seattle. Because there's no membership or registration requirement, anyone can post under any name, any time. It's not a very reliable source of information. Some dancers do seem to check it occasionally. Where customers comment about indvidual dancers on that site, it's generally negative, and dancers don't want to read that. As for most dancers I've ever spoken to about strip club web sites, they don't even want to take the time to learn what their public is saying out them, their coworkers, or their club. It's been my impression that it's not worth their effort. Most have just asked me to tell them if they're ever mentioned on line.

    Vacation with your ATF?
I'm with Shadow. I've never taken an overnight trip/vacation with a dancer, but I've spent afternoons and evenings with them going to movies, shows, dinners, etc. I've never paid them for their time while doing so. Just paying the usual expenses is all I do. I spent enough money on them in their clubs and doing conventional OTC sessions. They appreciated just taking them out for a date. I think you're risking too much if you feel she should be paid something just for her time while the two of you are on vacation together.

Two Anaheim clubs, Flamingo and Sahara, get lots of reviews for high mileage. TUSCL has plenty of reviews of those two clubs. They're probably less known for dancer quality.

Why do a lot of the hot dancers work so much?
Ranukam, Of all the suppositions you posed, all but one is logical. The exception: Dancers who can makes $500-1,000 per shift. I don't see how anyone who only makes the lower end of that range supporting themselves. Dancers are usually required to work a minimum amount of hours per week, and/or a minimum number of shifts. Most dancers I've ever known work a min. of three shifts/week. Usually six hours/shift is the expectation. So that only leaves two or three more shifts to account for the "excessive" work. All of the rest of your points and those of others made are quite valid. Here in Seattle, I do know of one dancer who works as much as she can-- I see her every time I'm at her club (day or night). She could be a six-shift/week dancer. I wouldn't consider her "hot," but she is a well-known extras provider. She is also a well-known drug user.
