    $25 Lappers
I concur with Papi, Shadow, and GMD. All very good points. Here, in the Puget Sound Region, Club Sin Rock in Renton went to $25. lap dances within the past year. But their admission/drink charge is very low. I'd think they'd just up the admission charge. Perhaps their strategy was to get customers in the door first, then worry about their poor pricing structure later. The club is as strict as the Deja Vu clubs in the region. (Lots of cameras.) They really can't afford to reduce their business potential any further than it is now. A bad business decision in my opinion.

I've participated as a judge in a few amateur contests before. The waitresses usually roam the room before the contest asking customers if they'd like to judge the contest. The judges don't necessarily sit right at the stage, so we don't even always know who the other judges are, or even how many. There's really no opportunity for judges to confer with each other to know who won. After I've filled out my ballot and given it to the deejay at the end of the contest, I've often wondered if the ballots really matter. The deejay could easily announce as the winner whoever the manager or owner wanted. Contests where audience applause is the "measure of success" may be more legitmate than those rated by judges. Except that as others have stated above, the deck can be stacked by a dancer bringing in her own friends and customers to cheer for her.

@ Jackslash: I concur with you 100%. I usually laugh to myself at tip jars on strip club counters. Yeah, right, I'm supposed to tip the cashier for doing his/her job, maybe even giving change! If they even spelled "tips" correctly on the jar, I might consider it. But, when its usually spelled, "tip's" I just laugh.

    Amateur night
In my experience, most of the amateur contest participants are experienced dancers. They're either from another club, just trying to make some additional money (like yours), or they've been out of dancing for a while, and may be attempting a comeback. Some clubs will only audition dancers during their amateur nights. Your dancer could still get offered a job as a result, even though she may not win the contest. I wouldn't rule out the possibility of it being rigged. Other club contests can be rigged. I was the beneficiary of a rigged contest one night at a club. There's a weekly, Monday night "Lucky Lady Lotto" at a club I go to. Customers are given a ticket for each dance they buy. Then at midnight is a drawing. The dancer I was with one night, said that she could arrange for me to win the contest. Sure enough she did. I "won" a $50. gift certificate redeemable for anything at the club. So, I bought two lap dances from her with my "winnings" (had to throw in $10. of my own to cover the total cost of $30./dance). If that can be fixed, so can an amateur contest. A club manager may already know he wants to hire a particular dancer, but he may want her to appear in the amateur contest, anyway, for strategic reasons. It may be difficult to research whether or not the amateur contests at the club you're speaking of, have been fixed.

does anybody know how could be stripper without license in US?
I've always sensed that the requirement for a business license for dancers is by state, not by city. If that's true, on the west coast, CA, NV, and WA require a business license. NV also requires a Police dept. Work Permit (formerely known as a "sheriff's card") OR does not have a license requirement. I believe that FL does not, as you seem to indicate yourself.

If "lopaw" doesn't chime in on this one, I recommend you message her. She's an experienced female customer. Although she's from L.A., and doesn't know St. Louis clubs, she may be able to offer tips on being a female customer in strip clubs, and how to select a good club for you two. Hope you'll write a review of wherever you go.

    Dancers with good attitudes.
It's certainly is freshing to have favorite dancers that know that although I've come in to see them, they understand that I'm likely to get dances with another dancer while I'm there. Not quite on topic, but a favorite story of mine about a dancer with great attitude: I had "loaned" Dancer "A" $300. It was my rule that I wouldn't get dances from her again, until she repaid the loan. So, even though she hadn't repaid the loan, she did a very nice thing for me one day while I was in her presence. She and I were sitting close to the stage. There was a fabulous dancer, Dancer "B," that just arrived on stage--exactly my type. I was in awe of her. After her stage was over, Dancer "A", said, "Would you like me to go get her for you?" I said yes. Not only did she, but Dancer "A" gave Dancer "B" a glowing recommnedation on me; Dancer "B" and I hit it off very well, and seven years later, I'm still a regular of the Dancer "B." Even though Dancer "A" couldn't repay the loan, she was very gracious and did someting nice for me instead.

Nevada's Legal Brothels Suffering in Bad Economy
I sense that the key sentence in this story is: ' “Instead of paying $400 for a room at a brothel, these guys can now go out and get the same service for a third of the money,” Flint told the NY Daily News.' That has to be an inference to on line escort services. Photos, menus, prices--all in one easy to read location, with hundreds of choices of providers. And, considering that the remaining brothels are well away from the two major population centers in Nevada, I'm surprised that Nevada still has as many as 18 brothels left.

Sun Life Stadium (2010-Present) Gee, I missed a few. I never heard of the subtle differences between #2 and #3. Same with #4 and #5. Also, I never knew #6.

Looking for a new favorite stripper
Ranukam, Quite true. One is in Spokane (300 miles east). The other 13 are all in the Puget Sound Region. Those are all within a 75-min. drive for me. (I live north of the northernmost club, so it's a bit of a drive to get to the two south sound clubs.) Of those 13, there are three I really don't care for because they're low-end clubs. The three that are downtown, I shy away from because I just don't like going downtown for things I can do in the suburbs. So that really only leaves me about seven clubs to choose from.

Looking for a new favorite stripper
I've had a solid list of about four faves for several years now, but I'm always on the lookout for new talent. I found one new one about a year ago that I like a little, but I seldom see her. I just can't find any new ones I really like. However, I'm mostly a night shift customer. I really need to get out and explore the day shift girls. (I have the availability for that.) It's just that I like the night time because of the larger numbers of dancers working, and the resultant club atmosphere when it's busy. There are far fewer day shift dancers, but I'll plan to try. I keep looking through TUSCL reviews to see if girls are discussed that are my type, and even PM some members for more detail if I see a girl mentioned I might like, but no new strong faves have emerged in a very long time. Ranukam, you have a much larger selection of clubs in Portland than I do in Seattle. Do keep us informed of your search.

    ITC Showers---- for customers?
I sense that a shower for customers would seldom get used. Unless there were lockers like in a gym, I could forsee security problems as well. I used to have the same situation as Electronman. My clubbing has mostly been in CA and WA. Years after I started, both states enacted indoor smoking bans, so that reduced the problem greatly. I used to do two things to "protect" myself, from unwanted scents before arriving home after a club outing: 1. Before leaving home, I would smuggle a second shirt out to my car. I would put it on just as I arrived at the club, and take it off when I got back to my car after being in the club. That left any strip club smells on the second shirt, which I later smuggled back into the house and put in the laundry hamper. (I did the laundry when I was married.) 2. Before leaving a strip club, I would wash my face and head in the men's room. Between those two tactics, I was never questioned why I smelled of cigarette smoke or perfume upon arriving home.

TT makes a good point. Considering the expense of going to any pro sporting event, how many customers actually budget money for the day of the game to go to a strip club afterward? For the clubs near stadiums that have large crowds after the games, I wonder how many in the crowd that came from the game are buying dances. I sense that most of those are just looky-loos sitting at or near the stage. It may have been on impulse that they went into the club after the game, perhaps after realizing how much traffic is in the area, and then deciding to wait it out inside the club while traffic dissipates.

    Underground Strip Club
I can understand why someone might attempt an underground strip club in that area. There is only one club in Lancaster, and it's a bikini bar. It's a long drive to any others, much further to any decent clubs. The TV news segment says company is Southland Taxi. The cover of the company's Facebook account is shown in the interview. The reporter says that there are photos that are too explicit to show on TV. The account shown is: https://www.facebook.com/#!/SouthlandTaxi There are some photos of sexy cab drivers and other "babe" shots, but I can't find anything indicating an underground strip club. Can anyone else find anything advertising the underground activity? (Of course, it could have been removed since the story broke.)

I sense that close proximity of strip clubs to the stadiums is all that could be assessed, and not whether more strip clubs open citywide, just because of the sudden presence of a new pro sports stadium. Here in Seattle, both stadiums are a block apart. Safeco Field (Mariners) opened in 1999, and CenturyLink Field (Seahawks, Sounders), opened in 2002 (under a different name). The only strip club within walking distance of the two, Dreamgirls, didn't open until 2010, and the Mariners fought its opening. So, it wasn't a fast process here, and I doubt that it would be much faster in another city. Dreamgirls banked on the close proximity to the two stadiums. It doesn't appear to have succeeded. Among Seattle strip clubs, it's not one of the popular clubs discussed by TUSCL members. It's a Deja Vu-owned club--low mileage. It has relatively few reviews for its three years since opening. Perhaps your real question is, "Do strip clubs near stadiums do a different level of business, quantity- and quality-wise, than those further away from the stadiums?"
