How often do you feel not that thrilled with visiting a strip club and just stay
There's only one type of occasion that prompts me to NOT go to a strip club when I have the urge: None of my faves are working, and it's a slow night of the week. Hence, little chance of finding another dancer I might like.

    Geography
@ GoV: I had the same attitude when I moved from L.A. to Seattle. I knew L.A., had great clubs, but I wanted a major change of scenery. I knew that Seattle had only a few strip clubs, and most low mileage. But, I didn't count on the only high mileage clubs (4 total) being forced to close four years after my move. However, I'm still very happy with the move I made. Like Dougster, I've gotten plenty of OTC action here.

    First time couple
I suggest you contact m00tpoint. "They" are an experienced couples customer and happen to live in the Chicago area. Send them a private message to ask for advice on choice of clubs, where to sit in the clubs, and protocol for couples customers. (Notice that the spelling of their name is two zeros as the first two "o's.") See their profile at: https://www.tuscl.net/u.php?UID=232689 Good luck, and please do let us know how the evening turns out. Suggest you write a review of your experience, as you have no reviews to date.

Just the opposite happened to me. It was my choice to move from L.A. to Seattle. But, I didn't do it for the fine selection of strip clubs here. Oh, do I miss my L.A. clubs! COI, Upland, and Pomona in particular.

'Lap Dance' In A Regular Bar
@ GMD: I remember that pretty well, too. I recall there's a Gene Wilder movie where he attempts some mild hanky-panky with a young, pretty girl and she responds with, "Didst thou not just cop a feel?" I tried to look up the movie, but couldn't find it. Anyone out there know which movie?

That Stripper I was In Love With Is Now a Hooker?
I've known about five different strippers who became "escorts" after dancing. No biggie, to me. They got fired from local (Puget Sound Region) Deja Vu clubs. When that happens, the company seems to ban them from all of their Washington and Colorado clubs (run together as a single business unit). The remaining choices of local clubs are minimal, so they turn to escorting. I may have just discovered a new dancer who tried escorting first, and then went into stripping. I just met her. It'll be interesting to hear her story.

I'm with Art. I like the old '50's cars. I get to see a lot of them at the various car shows in the spring and summer here in Seattle.

"You Fuck Good But You Can't Kiss Worth Shit"
Along the lines of what Slick mentioned, there's a little trick that I used to do. It's like a little "foreplay" to a kiss. Assuming your kissing partner is shorter than you, I would take the first two fingers of my right hand and use them to gently lift her chin to an angle where her lips are aimed at mine. Then slowly apply the kiss. It really set the mood!

    More Off Topic: High School
Of all of the above commentaries, I'd say mine follows Gawker's (except for being a school principal). I enjoyed school more and more as the higher levels came along. My first "dip" in the enjoyment level was college. I didn't like the social experience or the education I was getting, which was at the local commuter college. So, I transferred to a much smaller college in somewhat of a college town 200 miles from home. There I had better success academically and much better socially. Then came work. (Another story, for another time.)

    RETIRING A WORD
Slick, A different angle of the same subject came up a year ago. Maybe we should revert to using now little-used terminology: "Snatch." See Farmerart's discussion, "Musing On The Word - 'Snatch' " posted June 5, 2012: https://www.tuscl.net/postread.php?PID=19155

Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life
    Dogs vs Cats
I've had both cats and dogs before. Right now, just dogs. I'd say that dogs are superior to cats as pets. Two reasons: 1. Dogs have owners. Cats have staff. 2. Dogs come when called. Cats take a message and get back to you later.

    Lionshare

    Saved by TUSCL.
It might seem obvious to Experimental that a customer (I don't like to use the term "PL") shouldn't loan money to a dancer, without having read advice on TUSCL. But, I think that guys tend to fall harder for strippers than they might for girls in the general population. Therefore, it takes some extra control of oneself to deal with strippers. I'm glad Lionshare has benefitted from our advice. I wish I had TUSCL's advice before I started "loaning" money to strippers.

Seattle Club-Goers Beware: Dancer gone ballistic at Centerfolds
The only indication from the review of a description of the dancer is, "she had dark hair, med build." When I PMd the reviewer, he further indicated the girl was Caucasian. TT, I met Mason, when in Centerfolds a couple of months ago, but I don't remember her well enough to say that this dancer is her. (I didn't get dances with her.) Anyone else familiar with Centerfolds' dancers have a guess?

The ad is misleading. Unless a woman is lactating, I don't think you can get STD from boobs as the ad infers.

Keep it in my pants when I do OTC. If I were a stripper it would stand for I like big bucks and I can not lie.
WARNING: Do not read if you have a heart condition
ilbbaicnl, You are a rare situation. The most common advice given on TUSCL seems to be, "Don't loan money to a dancer." I've never gotten one dollar back of any money I've ever "loaned" to dancers.

Tip Of The Day-Don't Be Creepy
Slick, You're advice to "smile a little" really does go a long way. And, it doesn't cost anything to do it. I had just that experience a few nights ago at a club. I came to see a dancer for the first time, only having heard about her previously. When it was her time to go on stage, she seemed nervous or uneasy at first. When she saw me smiling at her, and expressing other forms of interest in her (body language, jestures), she warmed up to me immediately. I proceeded to have a great evening with her.

    Athleticism
I like Rubenesque. (I know I'm probably in the minority on that point.) And, like Shadow, I like soft and sensual. An athletic stage show is fun to watch, but as others have noted, it doesn't always translate into the desired lap dance afterward. If a dancer is slow and sexy on stage, she usually gives the kind of lap dance I like.

I like demographic statistics. Some observations: 1. Oregon and Washington are adjoining states but at opposite ends of the chart. What's in the water in the Columbia River? 2. Note how skewed the distribution is by population: The five most populous states are: CA, Fl, IL, NY, and TX. Of those, only FL is in the top half of the list. 3. Others have produced this chart before. What would be really interesting to see, is if there's a correlation to income by state. I just located an income table. I'll try to get to posting a distribution by income later today.

I believe that the last time this argument came up, Farmerart gave his opinion of Ricks Cabaret International, if anyone cares to look it up.
