Also, for slang used on TUSCL, in addition to the glossary mentioned, try www.urbandictionary.com It's a wealth of info. on sex, escorts, strip club slang, and anything else related to the sex/adult entertainment industry.

I'm with Canny. As much as I like big boobs, I strongly prefer them natural, unless they're an outstanding boob job. Two long-time faves of mine have outstanding boob jobs. One I didn't know even had enhanced boobs for a very long time after I first met her. (Both are among my profile pics. See if you can discern whom I'm speaking of.)
But, I conduct myself like a gentleman around fake books. I just politely decline dances from girls with obvious boob jobs. I don't tell them the reason why.

I wore a light blue polo shirt once while getting several lap dances with one dancer. After the dances I went to the restroom and noticed the front of my shirt was completely covered in her make-up that rubbed off of her. It washed out okay. That's the worst that's ever happened to me. I've thought I few times I might lose a shirt button in a dancer's mesh costume, but it never happend. Nothing ever happened related to dancer hygiene.

I've always sensed that there are too many dancers who are only thinking about what can they get (earn) in that particular moment, and have no regard for future earnings or business relationships. If they'd stop and think about their actions, instead of pouting or storming off in anger over a refusal, they might realize there's future business to be had with that customer, and any others in the club who witnessed her actions. I've experienced numerous examples of this. Some dealing with OTC situations.

Here's a now-deceased owner: Frank Colacurcio. He was the principal owner in a chain of four now-closed strip clubs in the Puget Sound Region. I read the 2010 book, "Seattle Vice--strippers, prostitution, dirty money, and crooked cops in the Emeral City." The name "Colacurcio" has more entries in the index than any other name or subject mentioned in the book.

I too know three dancers that have had long careers and aren't extras dancers. I've made reference to them before. Two started at age 18 and have been dancing most of their adult lives since. One is now 35 and the other is 42. (I still see her. She's the only one of the three in Seattle.) The third didn't start dancing until age 28 and is now 45.

Art and Alucard: I always thought it was just a catchy nonsensical name. But Alucard, you're right. It does have a definition! Per www.urbandictionary.com it means:
"Spearmint Rhino" -- The act of one individual placing a strap-on dildo on his/her head, lubricating it with Dr. Bronner's all natural menthol spearmint soap, and proceeding to penetrate his/her partner's asshole. It is preferred for the "rhino" to penetrate at a full running charge. Technically speaking, this is a modified screwnicorn.
Used in a sentence: Ooooooo-weeeeeee! Damn that spearmint rhino was refreshing. It's like my asshole just brushed it's teeth.

Usually, the purpose of tipping in a VIP/champagne room is for the purpose of having those people leave you and your dancer alone. (Essentially, you're bribing them to NOT do their jobs.) I've tipped a bouncer/supervisor $20. for that purpose. I seldom have a waitress annoy me there.

@ slick: I meant to include this point. It's in line with GMD's comment -- Because new clubs often have difficulty sustaining a regular crowd in their first year, the same goes with their dancers. There's often a high turnover of dancers during that time. After a year's time, once a customer goes in, and likes a particular dancer, that same dancer is likely to be there the second time the customer returns.
Also, where a club in a large chain operation, such as Deja Vu, opens a new location, the chain often has dancers from its other nearby clubs temporarily work at the new club. Hence, the customers may not realize this, and liked "Boobette," "Cleavagia," and "Titsy," who all gave great dances upon the last trip to the club, really work at other scattered locations 50 miles away, or more. That's another good reason to wait a year, so the dancer roster has some stability.

Generally, I might go to a new club upon its opening, but just to look, not to "touch." I've always found that new clubs have to "behave" in their first year, or so. After that they tend to loosen up and customers can have a good time. So, if I've gone during the first month of opening, I'll usually wait until around its first anniversary to go again. But I might go sooner I a dancer I know is working at a new club and asks me to come in to see her.

DandyDan and Sclvr said it best. Amateur nights:
1. Give a club an opportunity to have different dancers appear for variety, rather than the club's own house dancers.
2. Are one means of auditioning dancers.
a.) They could be actual amateurs seeking employment as strippers.
b.) They could be presently employed at other clubs. The club holding the contest won't care. They just want to get entrants for the contest.
c.) Some clubs do require dancers to audition during the amateur contests. If a dancer comes into a club asking for a job, some club managers might ask her specifically to audition during the contest, even though the club will grant audtions at other time. That might be for strategic reasons.
3. Can be fixed.

Art, I'm the opposite. I've had my current wallet for around twenty years. It should have been replaced about ten years ago. But, I keep hoping what happened to you, will happen to me: Any of several strippers whom I've spent so much money on will recognize that I need a new wallet, and give me one (even a cheap one) as a gift, in recognition for all I've done for her. She might even say something like, "You've worn out that wallet on me, so I thought I'd give you a new one." But, no such event has occurred.
Each time I go to pay for lap dances, I do so, by pulling out my wallet to pay for them. No dancer has yet recognized that my wallet is long-since past its "best if used by date." I'm about ready to go buy one myself.
