Without the benefit of reading any reviews (yet) of Rick's, Scott's positive attitude may be enough to get me in there on my trip to Austin next month. I enjoyed P10 last year and gave it a positive review ... we'll have to see how Rick's compares!

Unfortunately I will occasionally head back to VIP with a dancer prior to finishing my usual screening procedure if I've imbibed to much. Doesn't generally work out as well on the mileage:cost ratio ...

And if you go down this route, you should only spend $ on the agreed upon services. No dinners, airfare, rental cars, etc. even if in exchange for services. You do this and she may even claim you're dating. If you're not satisfied being a major PL you'll wise up to the SS at this point and get scared...

1. I don't usually tip for LDs, and if they ask for one they won't get any more $$ from me.
2. Check out the going rate for escorts in your area. IMO it would be a rare stripper that is worth paying more than a working girl for extras.
3. I agree with harrydave - mileage is better on dayshift. I usually avoid Friday nights ... I'd rather have an easy time getting a seat, enjoying the experience, and not encountering a$$holes.

I lied about this once, for no good reason, with a dancer whom I've mostly seen OTC lately. Probably because she asked me if I was married and no dancer had asked me that before so I was "surprised" and caught off guard. This was a colossal mistake, hitting home only after a text exchange with her recently featuring the (paraphrased) quote from her, "obviously you haven't realized we've already been dating." What? That wasn't the way I was looking at the situation ... I'll never lie about this again.

Met a dancer recently on a trip and got her number after spending decent coin at the club. Texted her to set up private and didn't hear back. Check my phone the next morning, see a text from her that sorry, her phone was dead and she couldn't find the charger for 2 hours. LOL! Oh well, I'll give her one more chance next time I visit that town, she was hot!!

gmd: That's my experience too. I get crap from my fave when I see other girls. Can't help it though. Don't think she appreciated the scouting report I gave her on an out-of-town club I went to recently. I was only trying to convince her it would be a good place for her to work on a road trip.... On the subject of this post a dancer at this club pimped me to her sister who gave the best time of the night!!

Farmer, you can get a "deal" of $200 for 5 songs at the #5. There are lots of ROBs but I found a black chick from Montreal who made this kind of worth it. Only because I don't get there very often. None of them seem to do OTC.

I'm new and have only written a small number of reviews so far. I've stayed away from stage names and stuck with generalities on physical descriptions, particularly when it comes to my favorite local club. So far I've focused on my experiences to provide a lower bound on what is possible at the club rather than who was providing the services.
However I certainly take advantage of information on specific dancers in the reviews I read for research when hitting a new club on the road. Makes me think I should alter my approach to reviews somewhat - I'm guessing most would agree this kind of info is quite useful. Never a good idea to attach names to services when the provider is going above the norm (rules?) for her club to give you a good time though ...

I generally prefer to hit the clubs alone. Too many variables involved, not the least of which is I sometimes find it hard to plan the length of my visit. Not if I'm meeting a particular dancer, but if I come in looking for new talent. At my favorite club I usually find a dancer that results in an extended visit.
That being said, I do occasionally hit the clubs with a buddy when we meet up at work-related events. It works because we're good friends and are both flexible particularly with respect to time. We'd get together for a few beers anyway, so why not throw in some naked ladies? We're usually on the road and visiting a local SC at least one of us doesn't get to very often, so it can also be a cost effective way to exchange intel on dancers more likely to provide a good time!

lol tx! I manage to blow my budget even at the crappy clubs I end up in every once in a while. At least I've learned to adjust my budget down when I anticipate this situation thanks to the good reviews here.
As far as establishing expectations with dancers, this would seem to be second nature to clubbing. We've all blown money on bad LDs. The trick is "one strike and you're out." No second chances. There are enough dancers out there in the world. Make sure you have cash left over for when you find the best one at the end of the night!

I had a dancer at a local club send me a free picture recently. But she's trying to recruit me for a FS OTC session at $800/hour ... At that rate the pic better be free, but I'm still "catching the next bus."

Pure Platnum sucks too. TJ wasn't an option on that trip. I actually didn't mind when my wife called while some Mexican girl was working me up for a VIP ripoff. Great excuse to leave...

Bachelor parties at SCs suck. They are noisy and often distract the dancers from making lots more $ in VIP with you. Fortunately I don't generally visit SCs at the times these parties usually happen.

If I hit it off with a dancer during LDs in VIP and I want OTC, I simply ask her if she's up for that during the last song. At that point you get the # or you don't. The advice here is far too complicated. Folks, OTC is a business transaction. I don't think it's important to "get to know her." I prefer anonymity and there's only trouble ahead when emotions get involved. It's the surest path to the end stage of PL syndrome.

My main goal when clubbing is to spend $$$ on dancers I like. Research begins at the main stage, so I usually end up there. Of course I will always tip any dancer who stops by and performs. I am amazed by some dancers who appeal to me but don't bother, and I think "you just lost $500" in VIP dances etc. My ATF told me sometimes for various reasons they just don't care. Oh well, the $$ still disappear, just wish the dancer that makes the night great wasn't too frequently the last one I could afford to see during that visit!

I've never sampled the food in my local club. Can't get the thought of McDonalds or Burger King out of my head. I've bought meals for an ATF a few times, and she always gives me crap about not ordering. But I think she understands after being treated to a couple of high-end restaurants around town ...
