OK, so how does a rural conservative Jew rate the title, "secular"???? And, "wandering sage"?? Really? Nothing in the ancient writings (whether Gospel, letter, or extra-biblical) indicate that the devout Jew we call Jesus was a wanderer. In fact, every Gospel account actually attributed a specific, and very normal for the era, reason for Jesus' presence in a certain location. And "sage" is grossly inaccurate. The Canon and non-canonical gospels often "quote" Jesus repeating and interpreting Hebrew scripture, but there are no examples of sage-like proclamations attributes to Jesus.
I would assert that Funk has long been trying to "redefine" Jesus with an unsustainable "human dissident" image. Much of his work has been thoroughly refuted by real scholars.
Taussig's interpretation of the "Q" people completely ignores the well established fact that the early followers of the deceased Jesus were ALL Jews. To attribute non-Jewish assertions and defenses to devout Jews is absurd, but that argument is the core of your statement.
And I would certainly expect to see a modern Jesus in strip clubs, laying on hands and healing the broken ladies within.

Samsung, I think Baby Dolls is so well reviewed because it offers most of the range of experiences we go to strip clubs to find. Some people rate it high BECAUSE of the BD buffet and low cover. Others think really hot chicks with bare breasts on high stages is the ultimate experience and 7 stages makes BD a big winner there. A few probably appreciate the very large bar in the middle of the action downstairs - and the numerous, attentive, waitresses downstairs surely doesn't detract from the experience (I've never encountered a really pushy waitress there).
Somehow the dancers who offer more than just air and shakes seem capable of finding customers willing to buy contact dances. Even though the "VIP" spaces are expensive, limited, and open to view - fun can be more than just grope and grind - with the right dancer. Many of the "more entertaining" dancers know where to build chair forts or turn a corner chair just right for privacy - and the waitresses know when to keep their distance.
So, overall, my guess about the high rating is that whatever SC experience you are looking for, Baby Dolls is as likely as any place in Dallas to provide it.

Twenty years ago the dancers were consistently 8s or better - IF you considered only looks. Back then the only way to touch one of them was on an OTC? date because ALL the clubs had "no touch" rules and no clubs had private "VIP" rooms.
I prefer the way it is now. Today, many of the dancers are 6 and 7s (at least better than the average found in non strip bars) but almost all of them are willing and enthusiastic about intimate contact.

Yes. More often, I visit clubs while traveling for other reasons. It is a special break when I can schedule a SC tour, in lieu of dropping in a SC while traveling on other business.

There are several viable options.
Miami has a number of busy, nude PLUS full bar clubs with plenty of action.
ESL (East St Louis, the area nut just one town) also has a few "interesting" clubs with possibilities - watch your back or bring a big, gun toting friend.
City of Industry, CA (near LA) has several clubs with hot dancers and lots of extras and the possibility of visiting other clubs and sights in the area.
I agree that the Detroit area is a hotbed of strip clubs with great or better lappers and if you stay out near the airport (or otherwise away from town) you shouldn't have to worry about getting mugged or murdered.
Another fun trip would be Montreal or Toronto (or both). Both are well known for extras. Toronto has fewer clubs but more action in those near town. Montreal clubs on the island have very inexpensive lap dances but not much extra fun. OFF Island clubs are very extra friendly and many "off island" clubs have lap dance rooms with locks on the doors.
For a more exotic stripper filled vacation, fly to the Dominican Republic. On the North shore Souza has a couple of clubs where the strippers are a "sure thing" either ITC or take out and some really great prices for hotel suites. On the South shore, Santo Domingo is also a happening place.
A few notes on the DR - - prostitution is LEGAL there so have fun - - - drugs are not legal, don't have too much fun - - - If you don't speak Spanish you can get by but you'll find that 10% or less of the population speak English - - - bring condoms from the US (and lots of them) the local covers will fail most of the time.
Have fun where ever you go.

Jackson, for what you spent you could have flown to the DR, rented the nicest suite in Souza, hired a cook, picked out the three hottest chicas in town - and spent the entire week 24/7 living the champagne room dream. And still had money left over! Just saying! ;)

I was killing an hour or two around lunch in an ESL club when a dancer joined me (things were so dead in the club, the manager let the dancers eat from the buffet setup and turned the TV over the bar to the news.) We were watching news (onscreen scroll - the music was still loud) about the upcoming Demo convention when this cute, young dancer started talking politics. We were a little loud, in order to be heard over the music, and two other dancers joined in the discussion.
It was surprising to discover that all three were aware, not only of the candidates, but also the issues. None of them were Obama fans (also a surprise to me). One Ron Paul fan, one for Johnson, and one Romney fan (because she thought Ryan was hot!?!) Not all dancers are ignorant. (note to self - dancers favoring Ron Paul might NOT be the best choice for VIP.)

If you need to stay in town, or north or west there isn't a "good" club. Going south you have to go all the way to the interstate loop and the mileage is still limited unless you love the black chicks at Arnie's. A better choice might be to rent a room and bring in the "entertainment." Strippers (real stripper acts, not just escorts) can be found in the Chicago area, and sometimes they provide excellent entertainment! Good luck.

I can barely remember my 20's, but I do know that in a strip club most of the women prefer to spend time with "more mature" gentlemen. They tend to avoid the young guys with their usually tiny - - - wallets and usually inflated egos. With us "experienced" PLs the ladies can quickly figure out who is window shopping and who is paying for fun. With the youngsters, I'm told by the ladies, it takes a while to figure out whether they have any money and are willing to spend!
I do believe that, if you can get past the disadvantage of youth, good looks are helpful. But, just like us older guys, the attraction only works if the looks are backed up with appropriate clothing, good grooming and deodorant! Chicks don't like to grind on scratchy jeans or get cuddly with BO and bad breath.
If you do "have it," and the young dancers appreciate your looks, I have no doubt you will get more bang for your buck than the fat old slob she just took for $300 before sliding onto your lap.

Personally, I believe the entertainers in a club will only endeavor to provide you extra services if you are extremely well dressed and tip extravagantly. First, be sure to make an impression. The "James Bond" tuxedo look usually works well, but other styles may work better for you. Consider a real Stetson hat an Tony Llama boots with flame design jeans and a plaid shirt with snaps instead of buttons, or a doubleknit leisure suit in powder blue.
Next, make an entrance! When you arrive, be sure to tip whoever is at the door with a pair of $20s, then stand - hands on hips - in the entrance for at least 2 minutes.
Finally, when sitting in the club with a possible extras girl at your table, pull out a roll of $20s and $50s and count it often. Make sure they know you have thousands. Then the extra entertainment will be outstanding.

I'm almost ready to offer a serious response to GMD's comments. Almost! I do think about the money I've wasted in strip clubs. The times I didn't negotiate, explicitly, what I expected and what price I would pay. The times I foolishly bought a drink at a price that would pay for another lap dance. The lappers with stuck up dancers I "knew" wouldn't do more than grind.
But then I think of the money I wasted outside strip clubs - on women who insisted on turning off the light before taking their clothes off - on homes far bigger than I needed - on vacations to places with lousy SCs - and I realize the tiny amount I've wasted in clubs is truly insignificant.

I once got an elbow slammed into my cheek (entirely an accident - I wasn't doing ANYthing to her at the time) at a club in Dallas. The manager saw it and immediately came over made sure I was OK, comped me (and my table) for the night, then had a discussion with the elbow swinging dancer. I didn't think much of it until she came to the table with a girlfriend and asked to join me. Turns out, the manager directed the dancer to entertain (no extras implied) me, with friend for at least an hour, lappers included. Had I known that when the girls first arrived - I would have meant an hour long double lap dance, but the "ladies" didn't mention it until I was about to leave.
I gotta' give that manager props - he acted quickly to limit the possible liability claim, addressed the issue quickly and came up with a Solomon like solution..

I knew a stripper who took off for three weeks last year. A little while after her return she was back in the same ole' club, doing the same ole' thing, living in the same ole' apartment, with the same ole' ratty car. She DID have lots of new outfits, 15 new pairs of shoes, jewelry and a new tat. Her story was a customer took her to Europe for two weeks, paid for everything and gave her $7,000.00. I believe her, not because I have met the PL, but because the tat was a Roman ruin and spelled it "Roma." She just could never have figured out Italians spell it differently! It made little difference in her life, many strippers are NOT great money managers.

The Olympic weightlifters are a big NO, as well as the shooters (I have nothing against guns but I will NOT grope a woman with a gun in her hands!). I also have to pass on the gymnasts, as Fenster said "so young." Otherwise, yes they are mostly hot. I think several of the foreign swimmers are very doable.
