Shootings in/near strip clubs are not infrequent.
At one club I go to in Philly there was an attempted murder/suicide in the lap dance room which if I recall only the suicide was successful (the dancer was critically injured). At another Philly club I go to I've heard of at least one shooting years ago in the club (they have a metal detector now). There have been shootings nearby, if not in the club parking lot.
Heck my understanding is that there have been two shooting deaths in the parking lot of Spearmint Rhino in Vegas in the last 2-3 years. One of the most popular clubs in the country, Club of the Year 3 years ago.
None of these clubs would be considered to be in bad neighborhoods, marginal maybe. I just do my thing.

Mon's is a no nonsense, down to business, wham bam thank you mam place.
Wanna dance? Little to no small talk. Hot naked girls.
Elbow to elbow, leg to leg. Guys spectating. If you're bashful you're not going to enjoy.
Like the place, Nice change of pace. Have had many fun times here. Met a fave here, she's migrated to Vegas, and we still see each other 10 years later.

Dancers wear costumes every day.
I've found they are typically not happy when the club mandates they wear a "Halloween" costume for a club party.
I've encountered exceptions but it seems to be the general rule.

"Feature Club" of the year was Red Parrot in El Paso, TX. That seems the closest fit to "Best Show Bar". I don't see Kahoots nominated.
What you may be referring to is Club of the Year, Mideast. Kahoots was nominated for that. Winner for that region was Penthouse Club in East St. Louis.

On my recent Vegas trip I thought I recognized the men's room attendant at Treasures. Sure enough I knew him from OG, like 10 years ago. Nice guy.

At one of my clubs they often offer "free" dances during the 7 pm "Showcase". Dance is at your seat or bar stool and somewhat shortened. When I get them I'll tip $5. Often I'm with a fave and waive the "free" dance.
When a fave inconveniences me (quite late or a no show) they will sometimes give me a freebie or two next time we catch up. A girl that I have a flat fee for an hour arrangement with will sometimes give me an extra dance or two "on her".

As others have said I really dislike the stealth attack. A girl stops by and you're hitting it off.
Unknown to you she has a partner observing from a distance. Partner then walks up to you two and acts like she hasn't seen first girl all night. "How you doing?, Who's your friend?...". Then the doubles pitch begins.
Unfortunately I fell for this a couple of times. It was later that I observed the repeatable pattern. Generally first girl is the more outgoing or prettier of the two.

Left a club one time and stopped into a Baja Fresh about a mile away. Placed my order and one of the girls from the club walked in and got in line.
As SC says I believe the best approach is to let the girl make the first move. The girl spotted me and we chatted. She was by no means one of the hotter girls in the club but somehow she looked better in civilian clothes. Her order was for takeout, quite a bit of food, I think she had a family.
Saw another girl one day in the same general area at a Walgreens or CVS or something. I don't think she spotted me.

Average is 2-3 hours as I'm typically meeting up with one or more faves. If I don't know anyone at a club it's liable to be more like an hour. Record is probably 5 hours or so.
As others have said with the right girl(s) time really does fly by.

I like variety. I go to extras clubs but more frequently to non-extras clubs.
In any event I do prefer some hot laps but have had good times at clubs without laps or no opportunity to get one with a girl of my liking. As long as there's good eye candy, friendly girls and staff, and decent drinks I can enjoy myself.

Another option if you know another dancer in the club is to ask her to check with your target dancer. She can have what appears to be a quick "girl talk" converation with the target, then report back to you the scoop on whether the target can break free or will be tied up for awhile.
This has worked well for me in the past. Even if the response is it's going to be quite awhile it's good to know that so I can move onto greener pastures.

Agree that few have a computer or actively use it if they have one. If I'm at a new club and girl asks me "what brings you here" I may mention I saw some good reviews on the internet.
If she seems to have knowledge of the review sites, which seldom happens, I then may get into a discussion of the difference between TUSCL and SCL. If girls are aware of any site they are aware of SCL due to the free access. Girls aren't going to pay for a membership and few will write a review so TUSCL is not of much use to them.
For us, an entirely different matter.

I meant to add the girls will complain about how slow it is, so few customers. If management really wanted more bodies specials such as reduced admission and drink specials would bring them in. But you don't see it.

What's interesting about Vegas clubs is there are rarely any significant specials or deals in my experience. Maybe 3-6 pm happy hour but who wants to go then?
I'm a long time OG customer, will probably be there Monday. I also will get to Treasures once or twice as I have friends who work at both places. In the past I've been to Rhino and Cheetahs. Many years ago to Palomino. Not a lot of specials other than for football games is my experience.

They have shifts there, 9-3 and so on. I'd personally suggest 9 pm or so, you'll catch the hotties early in their shift and it won't be as crowded so the selection will be the best. You'll also have a chance to get a seat.
I used to visit a friend there around 10, still not too bad. Crowd picks up around 11 in my experience. I've never been there much past 12 pm, I'm not big on crowds.

There's been a few notable exceptions but for the most part I prefer 21 or over. Tend to lean to late 20s early 30s for the experience and ability to have a conversation. I also like the option of having the girl drink with me.
The faves I've had under 21, some as young as 18, have generally come across as mature for their age and their age didn't come up initially. After we hit it off on a few visits they'll say BTW I'm only X years old, when I can get away with it I cut off the wristband before I leave the dressing room. Or a girl that I've unknowingly been buying drinks all along all of a sudden on one trip will have the wrist band. She then confesses that she got "busted".

I have/had a fave massage girl at a club I go to. Gorgeous brunette with smoking body. Egyptian background, dark features, wore darker makeup.
Didn't see her for about a year. This blond comes up to me one night and gives me a hug. Huh? Finally I piece together that it's the former fave massage girl. Light blond hair, light makeup, looks All-American. White-washed her ethnicity, a real disappointment. And to top it off she now has these ugly ass tattos on her formerly attractive boobies. Ugh. What the hell was she thinking?

It's interesting, as much time as I spend with girls in clubs I don't recall girls counting their money in front of me. Or maybe I've been focused on other things.
When girls have just come off stage they will sometimes flatten out and stack the crumpled up bills then stash them in their purse. But I don't notice them counting.
At some smaller clubs the barmaid may come by and ask the girl if she's got singles to trade in. Then she may reach in and count out $20 or $40 worth.
But as far as a dancer pulling out of wad of $20's etc and doing a count, don't recall that.

Some clubs I know get the NFL Ticket. It can be a good option for us transplants who want to watch our team's game when not televised in our market.
Generally not as crowded as a regular sports bar. Daytime girls, more motivated and often less bouncers. Have had some good times. Girls get the priority but if there's a lull I check out my game. If a girl stops by that I have no interest in it gives me a good excuse - "sorry, watching my game it's real important".

Similar. I go to a given club to get dances from 1-2 faves. Most times I get dances from at least one other girl. I like variety and the way these girls come and go it's always good to be developing the "pipeline". I'd say 4 dancers is probably about the max in a given visit.

Stripclubspy, you think about it much more than I do. If I piss a girl off by getting dances from another, so be it. Plenty 'o fish in the sea.
