The only time I ever went to one was interesting, in that I went to chill with a dancer, but got to meet the house mom for that club. It mostly just reeks of tobacco smoke. That club had a unique issue for their patio, in that if the wind blew the wrong way, you could smell a nearby pig farm. Not close enough that you could see it, but it was awful if the wind blew.

The one time I went to strip clubs in Minneapolis, Augie's was basically all black girls. That was years ago, but I doubt things have changed that much. OTOH, it's been three years since someone reviewed it.

I had a favorite whose time as a favorite came to a sudden end when she spent the whole conversation talking about Jesus and how she was "saved". I don't go to the strip club to hear about your religion. Then there was the conversation I had with a dancer once where she wanted to know how the "Dallas Patriots" were doing in football. I have bought dances from girls who like teams I don't like, but if you don't know Dallas is the Cowboys, you are beyond stupid.

The one thing I got into is going to the local casino, but I've gotten tired of that as well.

It's happened to me occasionally. They think I must be a plain clothes officer. I suspect there are certain behaviors you do which make them think you're a cop, but I have no idea what they are. I suspect they are worried about being found with illegal substances and perhaps it fuels paranoia.
