I would guess that it is usually discussed beforehand. Not that I would mind if a dancer all of the sudden did that for me.

But that would make the CRIMINALS and even more ATRRACTIVE to STRIPPERS. They are also probably GAY failed MUSICUANS.

"It's just plain more fun if they approach you: Then there's an element of suspense as to whether or not the transaction is going to happen or not.
If you approach her, you aren't even going to need a line and of course you'll get your dance. "
I dare say that most of the time, you also get a better dance from the girl who approaches you (although there are exceptions).

"That accounts for exactly 92.3% of all cases."
Could I have a source for this statistic?

If a dancer lies about needing the money, I don't consider that a scam. I consider that a LINE that the dancer is using to make you feel sorry for her and get you to spend your money on her. You can easily say no to that kind of line. Why a girl is dancing really does not matter to me.
A scam to me is being overcharged or services paid for but not delivered.

One dancer told me that the more people called to find out if she was dancing, she would get better shifts.

If you get a number from a girl at a regular bar without buying her drinks, do you think it was too easy?

If RL didn't make 3 topics for practically the same thing, I could see the usefulness of them for newbies to the scene. Also, it was mentioned he really isn't interested in discussing or following up on them.

And the point of playing this game is what? I'm not looking for a date at the strip club, just a good time.

I used to wear botton down short sleeve shirts with a tie all the time at work before the dress code loosened up. Being confined to a wheelchair, keeping long sleeves clean is a huge chore, so I wear short sleeves as much as possible.

One of my former favs went from stripping to being a hostess at a Ground Round. She was hoping to become a waitress, but never made it there as she wound up back to stripping for a little while. She isn't stripping now (that I know of).
She recognized me and we would talk a little while when I went there. I probably went there a little more often when she was there than I would have otherwise.

One club where I go to on occasion will do this, call them "Quick Picks". They will do it for at least 7 or 8 turns. One thing I like about it is that you can use it as a way to decide if you want a dance from someone new.

There is one club that I go to that I have 3 favs that I love getting dances from. If I have the money, I will get dances from all of them. If not, the one(s) that get to me first get the money. There are two that spend time with me before and after getting a dance. The third really doesn't come to me without being asked, but she does give a hell of a dance.

Sometimes for me it's baseball games. I like watching the local minor league team play, especially this year since they have a shot at the playoffs. Coincidently, a few years ago, I saw my fav at the time at a game sitting about 10 rows in front of me.

While I never got to bankruptcy, when I started going to strip clubs, I went way too often. I spent a considerable amount of money there too. I cannot imagine how much I spent there. I was able to pay my bills, but that was about it. I didn't always pay the balance on my credit card but that was about it.
What brought my out of it was that I totalled my car and had to get a new one. My parents had to help me out with that - so what was my strip club money was going to them to pay for their loan. I'm way more responsible about my visits - which are less often than then.
But to the topic at hand, none of the girls at the club said anything about me spending too much time or money there. Maybe it was because I spread the wealth, I don't know. I didn't spend large amounts at one time, but several times a week added up. I'm sure that the girls I spent time with fell in the #2 and #3 catagory that davids mentioned. You can usually tell who the #4's are. Too bad I could not find a #1.

Been there, done that. Not only that, most of the time, the dancer initiated it with me. :)

I prefer real as well. I like small to medium sized. Small tits make the girl look younger. But there is nothing wrong with a girl with good sized breasts rubbing up on you.

Wouldn't the fact that the stripper initiated it be a good indication? I'm not saying that any of the kisses were long passionate kisses. They were just normal kisses. I never initiated the kissing unless she did earlier in the dance.

Why should strippers look in a strip club? They are WORKING there. Do you look for dates where you work? The other problem is that strippers (and other people in the adult entertainment) is that they have to wonder if guys only want them for the fantasy.

I have to disagree with the drug dealer analogy. Drug dealing is illegal. Buying drugs is illegal. Last I checked, buy a lap dance in a strip club was legal.
The question I pose is that how would a stripper know that a person is spending money they don't have? By how they dress? Frequency of visits? Amount spent? That doesn't necessarily mean anything. When I went more often than I should, I was dressed casually. Nothing great, but not rags or bad clothes. Also, it's not like I spend a large amount at one time.

I never intentially cultivated favorites. They just happened. One of them at a topless bar asked me to buy a ticket to a private party where the dancers get fully nude after only one visit because she felt comfortable with me.
