  I think a lot of girls bounce around from job to job, and that stripping is sometimes part of the mix. I've known several girls who danced for awhile, quit and did something else, came back to dancing, quit again ... I think that's pretty common. They like the $$$ from stripping but quickly tire of the hassles of the job. Until they try something else and find hassles there too.

  You want fries with that? I remember a hillarious (at least in my memory it is) Saturday Night Live skit about two male ex-pornstars trying to make it after porn. Years of porn have made them unable to hear any woman say anything and not interpret it as a come-on. They were in a burger joint, working as cooks. Every time someone would ask for a "whopper", or to "supersize it", the funky base music would start and they'd start to whip out the unit (I got your whopper right here...) Great premise, it just went on a little too long.

  From a financial point of view, I would think that it would be a lot easier to go from working at BK to stripping, than vice versa. On the other hand, the guy who buys three Happy Meals isn't going to expect to suck your tits.

  Doesn't it usually work the other way around? Seems like just about every dancer I've ever known used to be a waitress somewhere. My ATF used to refer to waitressing as flirting for a living, which isn't too far removed from what a stripper does. Quicksand, I'm betting that you're eating more burgers lately. Sounds like your friend may be ready for take-out in more ways than one.

  Umm, strippers do a bit more than flirt; long-time strippers usually have a FUBAR perspective of what other women do for a living relative to them.

  One of my former favs went from stripping to being a hostess at a Ground Round. She was hoping to become a waitress, but never made it there as she wound up back to stripping for a little while. She isn't stripping now (that I know of). She recognized me and we would talk a little while when I went there. I probably went there a little more often when she was there than I would have otherwise.
