Confirmed Dollhouse is also shuttered. I'm in agreement with Shadowcat that for the most part I won't miss these clubs, but it's a really unfortunate precedent for a local government to legislate established businesses out of existence just to serve the agenda of a self-righteous (and typically hypocritical) minority.

s275ironman's notes are accurate. There are also potential top-tier clubs on 8 Mile, but City of Detroit enforcement over the past year or so has made private VIPs tough to find, pushing a majority of the best talent out to the burbs.
Some things about clubbing in (metro) Detroit to keep in mind:
- Most clubs will charge for booth seating in addition to cover ($20 seems to be the goung rate). It's a pain, but the potential up-side is that getting a booth shows the dancers you've got money to spend - and gives you a bit more privacy than bar or table seating while you get to know each other.
- Be prepared for sticker shock on drink prices (alcohol or not) unless you happen to hit a happy hour special. Flight Club is particularly guilty of this, with literally nothing under $10.
- If you've read the reviews, you're probably already aware that you can usually get the best deal by negotiating services rather than pricing per dance or by time. Do your research to have a solid understanding of market rates, and remember the first price you hear - especially if they know you're from out of town - will often be double what you should normally pay.

"Can’t decide between BTs and FC I am literally a few miles from the first LOL"
Did I miss a joke there? Assuming you mean BT's Dearborn, the two clubs are less than 10 miles apart.
Assuming you're counting all expenses, I would predict your budget would get you roughly double the fun at BT's vs typical rates at FC. Average quality of the company would be higher at FC, but the best girls there aren't twice as attractive (or twice as fun).

Everything written by this member is a fact.
@Flagooner - I'd probably count myself in agreement with you, at least under circumstances that allow testing your hypothesis.
If I'm visiting a club for the first/possibly only time, I'm generally going to look for the most physically attractive dancer there to spend time with. But if I'm going back to a place more than once, I've had cases where I chose a less attractive dancer than the top of the range for various reasons: compatability, level of service, cost, or just a desire for variety amongst them.
As for the "ideal income" discussion, the point most seem to have missed from the original report was that increasing income (generally) brings with it greater responsibility and corresponding stress.
The idea was that the perfect income would cover your life expenses plus a comfortable cushion for luxuries/entertainment and savings, but only require you to take on professional responsibilities commensurate with that level of compensation.
In other words, everyone would be glad to have a Fortune 500 CEO's salary, but most would not be happy to accept what doing that job requires of your life (being 'on call' 24/7, having to answer to shareholders/board of directors, making decisions that you know could negatively impact hundreds or even thousands of employees for the financial good of the company, etc.).

The Clearance Sale - past her prime in age but she's keeping her body tight and offering discounts or upgrades to keep her income up
The Big Frog - a 7-9 dancer who works in a dive club ("little pond") where the other dancers average no better than 6
The Double-down - still in her 20s but has had two or more kids with the same on again/off again baby-daddy

I'm inclined to agree with Nina on this one. If there was really an insatiable market for "famous because I was born rich and a tape of me getting boned went viral" skanks, we'd be hearing a lot more from Paris Hilton these days.

I write it like I mean it, but mostly they just want my money.
@grand1511 - I beg to differ on the value of reviews for a "dud" visit. Yes, any experienced clubber will already know to expect limited selection on slower days/shifts, but there's still some value in hearing precisely how limited/poor that selection is.
If all of the reviews written for a club focused on the "primetime" shifts, you wouldn't have any information to guide whether or not it's worth visiting on, say, a Tuesday afternoon.
I do agree wholeheartedly with the OP's point that there are too many reviews being published that are completely lacking in substance (to some extent regardless of length).

I strongly prefer women of color. Every color.
Not much to add here. If Sunday day shift is a must for some reason, BT's is the nicest club by far but selection may be extremely limited. H8N or Bogey's are probably about equal in terms of numbers and quality, see reviews for their respective pros & cons (and remember you can get a free pass from one to the other if your first choice doesn't work out). Henry's South is also open day shift on Sunday but not worth the time or gas (see my recent review).

+1 to @PapiChulo.
Is a description essential to review the club? No. But I always try to give some notion of how things are set up so a newbie walking in the door knows where to look for the bathroom or which direction to head for the best seats.

All over
You've already gotten good advice on some of the best club selections, but a question that's worth asking is your transportation situation and start/end point(s). Atlanta's clubs are spread across a large metro area, and traffic isn't your friend if trying to get from Club A to Club B in a set timeframe (especially if you then have to make a road trip or catch a flight).
If Follies is a given you'll want to start there, and depending on your clubbing style (plus budget, the day's roster, and how much fun you're having) it wouldn't be unusual to stay 2-3 hours.
Keep in mind that will put your 2nd club in a weak time of day for most options - end of day shift, or start of 2nd for the clubs like Oasis & Tattletale that run a 3-shift schedule.
Day of the week is also important, especially if your trip falls on a Sunday. Due to local blue laws only a few clubs in metro Atlanta are open at all on Sunday. Fortunately Follies is one of those (Pink Pony & Oasis also being 7-day clubs).
If you're short on time and OK with mostly air dances & eye candy, Cheetah would be the best quality Mon-Sat, with Pink Pony being a lower tier but still decent (and much closer to Follies).
If you need to head to the airport, the club options are a lot slimmer on the south side than they were a few years ago. Check reviews for Goldrush if convenience to a departing flight is a priority.
If getting to the airport isn't an issue and you're already coming off a Follies high, Oasis would be another good spot to chill. Don't expect anything like Follies-level action as the norm, but dancer quality is generally high in my visits and it's a comfortable place to chill.
The Fulton Industrial strip on the west side has a small cluster of clubs, but despite Dr Evil's optimism my experience in that part of town has never been great.
Tattletale is one of several clubs in/near the Cheshire Bridge corridor, but probably the only one consistently worth a visit. TT also doesn't really pick up until night shift (circa 9pm) so may not be worth an afternoon stop.

In most cities some amount of dedicated parking is mandated for any business by local zoning ordinances. The exceptions are usually grandfathered in somehow, or the area they're located in has ample on-street and/or public parking.
In addition to a few already mentioned, a couple of other examples I'm aware of include Deja Vu Hollywood CA, Delilah's Den in Manville, NJ, and PT's in Louisville KY. All of the above are in relatively dense urban areas (well, sub-urban for Manville) that had some on-street parking and pay lots in the area.

Miami, FL (or the nearest big-booty club)
I've seen variations on this routine all over the country, labeled as a "lineup," "finale," "showcase," or other similar names, and probably 2 of 3 cases it's associated with some form of dance or drink special. Detroit may be the only market I've visited where it seems to happen in the majority of clubs, vs one or two outliers. Can't say they were especially more common or less so in the past, but I suspect that also varies by market and club.
As for the value or lack of same, it depends greatly on the club (especially number of dancers), the specials offered (if any), and maybe most important the frequency. The Cheetah's lineup on a Friday night is an impressive display of Grade A eye candy - BELAX would I'm sure be similar. In clubs with that number and quality of dancers, it's a great show even if you get nothing more out of it.
By contrast, I've been at Bogart's when there were only a half-dozen or so dancers working and the DJ seemed to call a finale at the end of almost every 3-song set. The dancers were already grouchy enough about having to be on stage so frequently - pulling them in for a one-song set was just overkill, and more than one was unhappy about it.
The up-side from a customer standpoint is that usually a club will exempt dancers from the cattle call if they're in a VIP beforehand. I've had multiple offers to "save" a dancer from going on stage, which can benefit you both in negotiating pricing and in a dancer's showing her appreciation with more than just a "thank you."

By most standards Flight Club is the current top of the list for quality and consistency. As others have noted, this comes at a premium price point: mandatory valet, non-stop pressure to buy overpriced drinks, and VIP asking prices typically at least 50% higher than most competitors (up to the individual how well you can negotiate that down, or whether the quality is worth the added cost).
On the other end of the scale, Bogart's and Henry's (both locations) do $10 dance days. This won't necessarily reduce the price of extracurriculars, but it gives you the option of inexpensive "test drives." I'd say H8 South isn't worth the drive but the Inkster clubs are close enough to each other to easily hit both. You can also get a card leaving one good for same day/same shift admission to the other.
I'd second the BT's recommendation but clarify this is for the Dearborn location. I've never tried the one on 8 Mile but the reviews are consistently weak.
Another 8 Mile club that gets good reviews but not as much hype as Coliseum or Penthouse is Player's. Their VIP recently went to "beaded curtains" due to city restrictions, but anyone who's been to Follies can confirm with tje right lighting that's more than sufficient for privacy. Overall quality is (IMHO) on par with the other upper tier clubs, without the inflated pricing and nickel & diming that diminishes the Flight Club experience.

I'm surprised no one's yet mentioned Fat Matt's Rib Shack, an Atlanta institution that may be to barbecue what Follies is to strip clubbing (although I can't confirm if there's a bigger crowd and a more limited menu at night). It's also within about half a mile of the Tattletale Lounge, if you need someplace to go after getting your fingers sticky.
Fox Bros is a solid choice, and I agree with those suggesting you skip Dickey's - it's not awful for a chain, but too many other better options out there. Also worthy: Pig N Chik, which is near Emory, and Williamson Bros in Marietta.
