One of the strippers at my usual club is kind of introverted, she was recruited by a friend and spends a lot of time at that girl's side. She prefers familiar regulars, some of them homely overweight guys who will tip $20 per ten minutes just to talk with a pretty girl. She would rather do that than sell dances.

Marijuana makes me more philosophical. I know the feeling - the main club I visit is 37 miles away and most of it is 2 lane road or 4 lanes with traffic signals. Yeah 50-55 minutes most of the time to get there. Fortunately the they have a good talent pool and I can find someone on any given night that I like.

Wouldn't a dancer get spooked if some guy she has never met, starts trying to contact her? If she figures out who forwarded the number, that could backfire on any more OTC

Ppwh, it's similar for me as well. I remember better the various razzing, joking, and horseplay of co-workers at $4 to $9 per hour jobs than what I encounter in cubicle land.

There are several threads on TUSCL about the decline of clubs. Another central one is that clubs used to be common in decrepit downtowns. Cities have been trying to reinvest and gentrify, chasing clubs out of formerly neglected areas. Zoning makes it tough to open a new club.

Strippers do not seem to have the same impression of texts like PLs do. We view them like written voice mail, something to which a reply is expected. Strippers treat them more like watching a stream of Instagram status feeds.

I have known about TUSCL since 1998 or so but did not participate much until this past summer... And I remember the old alt.sex.strip-clubs because I began reading it around 1996.

I see now that you described these as weekend girls... But I think if you suggest a long VIP with them on a weeknight, you will discover their schedules become more accommodating.

Is it that hard to simply return to the club a few days later and get VIP with another? OK money becomes a consideration... But I think I would figure out how to budget tighter or earn more, if I had this "problem"

It would make sense for ratings to weigh more heavily based on some formula of the poster's credibility and longevity... And to reduce the value of reviews as they age.
