My smart phone is on my daughter's account and I pay zero per month. However I use the phone mostly just for emergencies. It stays in my car when I am in the clubs. 99.9% of my internet use is done on my home desk top and runs me $65 including unlimited use of my land line. I have 57Mb of download speed but could have up to 1,000 if I had any need for it.

My play phone only has a 2GB per month plan, with a 10GB bulk purchase as an overflow backup, and I've only had one month in past year where it had to be dipped into.

It is used for all my TUSCL reading, IG browsing, Juice YouTube videos, Google maps, SA browsing etc.

8GB is a LOT for just that type of use.

i don't have a land line, satellite or cable. in fact not even 'on the air' tv is available at my mountain cabin east of LA. so i'm very dependent on cellular.

$90 for the privelege of interacting with us seems to be a huge bargain!

I’m on the Verizon unlimited plan - and I have my kids on the plan too - so I’m running at $215 a month. I also pay their cable/internet bill which is another $215 a month. I sucks that my employer stopped providing us with free phones and cell service - and cable!

TUSCL is mostly text-data so hard to see you would run thru 8G in a month (probably not even 1G/month just from TUSCL) - I'm not much of a techie but perhaps there may be something running in the background that is sipping away at your data.

my verizon is unlimited... i do have i heart radio on a lot because the stations i like don't have advertisements. but i am on a number of forums frequently.

maybe my use of 'hotspot' to my ipad eats up some data.

Yeah I have a 2 gig plan, some of it rolls over each month. Mostly texting, tuscl, checking weather and a few news articles. Pull up Google maps occasionally.
