This is no fluke. You described the exact experience I have had every time I’ve gone to this club since they reopened after COVID. Except there are usually less than 12-15 customers. More like 4-5 customers when I’ve been. A real shame since it’s literally the nicest facility in south Florida.

Interesting. This club was raided back in 2009 which is what caused them to lose their VIP rooms. About 2 years ago, Cheetah opened the 3/100 communal room that has been used as a de facto VIP room, as OP and others have reported, for FS. Perhaps this was too much of a good thing, and the local authorities decided to shut it down. There may be a silver lining, however, since the lack of VIP had previously made the $25 laps better quality since these were the biggest sale available, and dancers were not constantly upselling for VIP.

I check in on Solid Gold Pompano every few months, but only because it has the potential of being a great club - and I keep hoping.

My experience is the same as @Rod. I really miss the good old days at DD. I too have taken DD out of my standard rotation due to a lack of quality, and overly aggressive dancers with too many ghetto tattoos and body enhancements of ridiculous proportions.

Like @Dolfan, I’ve been in South Florida my entire life, and hurricanes are just a way of life. My house in Miami Beach was originally built in the 1940’s and she’s weathered a lot of storms. The hurricane parties in the 70s and 80s were great, but since Andrew, everyone now seems to be taking storms more seriously. More recently, flooding has become a big issue due to sea level rise and the fact that everything’s paved over now, and a lack of suitable drainage infrastructure. I also believe that storms are much more intense now due to warmer water. Ironically, severe hurricane damage often results in an increase to property values, like what happened in the lower Keys after Irma in 2017. The storm destroyed crappy old buildings and trailer parks that were replaced with high end condos and resorts. Same thing happened in the panhandle after hurricane Michael.

@Whitetails is correct. So Fla strip clubs tend to be a bit seasonal, with summer being the slower months. Some of the top tier Florida-based talent travel to other places during the summer where there is greater earning potential. Let’s hope they all return in October.

@FoCo- I have found that straightforward and to the point is usually the way to go with strippers. A straightforward statement like “I want to fuck you” will usually get a straightforward answer like “not gonna happen” or “OK, let’s go”. This eliminates a lot of the risk and uncertainty that comes from vague and ambiguous language.

To follow up 25 and dolfan - specific to the popular south Florida clubs pre vs post COVID: Booby Trap Pompano = much bettter. Cheetah Pompano = same. Diamond Dolls = much worse. Tootsies = worse. Scarlets = about the same. All are now more expensive. However, I don’t know if the decline of strip clubs is entirely due to COVID. I think the industry has been on a downward trajectory since the early 2000’s - for a variety of reasons, but this decline was definitely exacerbated by the pandemic.
