Why air travel sucks

Back in the day I used to fly from Pittsburgh to DC. Eventually, between COVID, 9/11 that 45 minute air time took a total travel time of 5 or 6 hours! At that point, it became much more convenient just to make the four hour drive, with the added advantage of paid mileage.
