The science says 119 BPM is the optimal rythm for sex

119 BPM is in the neighborhood of 2 beats per second. If you count "1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi, 1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi", and clap your hands twice each "Mississippi" you'll be clapping at 120 BPM. You can also lookup a song's BPM by browsing to SongBPM.com.
Here are a few tracks in this neighborhood:
* Gorillaz - DARE (120 BPM)
* Lady Gaga - Bad Romance (119 BPM)
* Journey - Don't Stop Believing (119 BPM)
* Michael Jackson - Smooth Criminal (118 BPM)
* The Police - Every Breath You Take (117 BPM)
* Tom Petty - Love is a Long Road (116 BPM)
Questions for discussion:
* Is the ideal tempo for sex the same as for getting a lap dance? Why or why not?
* If you were making a sex playlist all in the neighborhood of 119 BPM, which tracks would you include?

But hmm, I do question the idea of optimal bpm and boinking. What about a quickie right before having to go to work or something? Or if one had an edible and time perception is kinda a blur? How about more romantic style and then lots of pillow talk after? Or what about if blindfolded and handcuffed?
Like idk, it seems like the pacing range might be different for those things? Maybe there needs to be a dedicated research branch for this, with government grant pools established just for this ahahaha
Yeah, all good questions. I think for the quickie I'd go with some punk rock in the 160-200 range, haha. Slower I think for blind folded with handcuffs. Closer by NIN (90 BPM) might be right for that. What do you think?

Yaaaasss. We need more data on this, the science isn't that sound yet and we have a lot to learn.
I watched one of those "fucking machines" porn videos once.. and thought.. Yeah, I remember that guy... pretty intense at first, but the endless monontony... oh jeez.. just cum and get it over with...
Let us know if you’re ever dancing in South Florida.
I think it’s good for that. I think it’s a great titty bar song in general as well.

As far as the original questions:
I’m not entirely sure what the best lapdance tempo is. Some customers definitely like different lapdance styles, and speed in general.
As far as a general playlist based on 119 bpm, I found a giant list of a bunch of songs. If I remember, then I’ll go through it later just for fun.

Some of my favs from the list:
New Order - Bizarre Love Triangle
Prince - 1999
Whitney - I Wanna Dance With Somebody
Iron Butterfly - In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida
Daft Punk - Give Life Back to Music
